Chapter 809 Falling Out
Winnie clenched her fists, trying to calm herself down. She clicked on another file and suddenly saw two photos of her sons, Sidney and Oscar. The file was dated exactly a year ago, shortly after she had returned to Veridiania.
Sidney's photo was clearly taken secretly, outside Jasmine Manor!
Winnie calculated the dates in her mind. Wasn't that right when she had just returned to Lymington and was battling Lawrence?
At that time, she didn't even know about Sidney's existence. But how did Rock have a photo of Sidney?
She remembered that it was Darcy who first discovered she had two sons and, together with Mars, kidnapped the children and tried to kill them.

Winnie was completely stunned. How had he suddenly returned?
Wasn't he on a business trip, and wasn't the Harrington Group in urgent need of handling due to the trouble she had secretly stirred up?
At that moment, Winnie's heart skipped a beat, and her face turned pale.
Her throat trembled, unable to form words.
Rock spoke first, his voice warm with a hint of a mocking smile, "Winnie, aren't you afraid of the power and internet outage at home? What suddenly made you interested in my study?"
Winnie looked at his smile, feeling scared inside. She quickly straightened up, forcing her hand to steady as she shook the mouse. "Yes, I was quite scared. The power and internet suddenly went out, but I saw your computer still had some battery, so I came to your study to handle some work."
"Did you find anything?" Rock suddenly took a big step forward, bringing with him the chill from outside.
But what made Winnie feel even colder was the darkness in his eyes.
As he approached, Winnie quickly tried to move to the other side of the desk. "I've finished handling it."
She suddenly looked at Rock's face in the backlight, which appeared calm.
Her heart skipped a beat, her brows furrowing as she looked at his elegant features, as if seeing a terrifying danger. He had suddenly rushed home, catching her in the study while she was secretly searching for clues.
Winnie's mind went blank, and she immediately guessed that today was probably part of his plan.
She had fallen into his trap.
When had he discovered her and started suspecting her?
Fear flashed through her heart, and she played along, "Your computer doesn't have internet either, so I could only handle some simple spreadsheets. By the way, why did you suddenly come home? Weren't you on a business trip out of Trento City?"
Rock folded his arms, looking at her with a laugh. "If I didn't come back, how could I see you secretly investigating me? So, my dear Winnie, what exactly did you find?"
His playful gaze fell on her hand.
Winnie clutched the USB drive tightly in her hand.
"Rock, I don't know what you're talking about. Since you're home, why don't you handle the power outage? I am quite scared being alone. I'll go find Elliott."
She gripped the USB drive in her palm and quickly tried to move past him towards the door, almost running.
"In a hurry?" Rock suddenly grabbed her hand, lifting it high and staring at her clenched palm. He laughed, "Winnie, you think you can just take my things and leave? You don't think what's in there could be used as evidence against me, do you? You're too naive. Don't you know I let you see it on purpose?"
Winnie's face completely changed.
Was he starting to turn against her?
Her gaze turned icy, her body trembling with immense anger as she turned to face him. "Rock, you're finally showing your true colors."
"I have to admire you. Even though you started suspecting me, you still played along. You almost had me fooled. You really are the woman I have my eyes on. Your acting is as good as mine."
He chuckled, his elegant features gradually turning cold inch by inch. He dragged her to the door, pinning her against the wall, and looked at her coldly. "When did you start suspecting me?"
"Did you arrange for the power and internet outage in this area today because you had already noticed the many surveillance cameras I set up at home?"
Winnie said, "So you never went on a business trip. How did you find out?"
"I found a camera in my office! If it weren't for the cleaning lady's thorough cleaning, who knows when I would have discovered your clever move."
Rock suddenly grabbed her chin.
Winnie took a sharp breath. She hadn't placed the camera well in his office.
Being discovered was only a matter of time.
But she hadn't expected him to act so quickly.
Since they had both turned against each other, there was no need for her to act anymore. Anger surged through her entire body and Winnie's eyes were icy as she said hatefully, "Rock, I never thought you were such a despicable and vicious person. Three years ago, you secretly plotted against Lawrence and me, trying to ruin our marriage. You used Darcy multiple times. In fact, you were the terrifying and hypocritical person behind it all!"
"All of that was because I loved you, Winnie." Rock laughed, glancing at the USB drive in her hand, knowing she had seen everything, and playfully admitted, "I didn't originally plan to keep the video from the Perugia City hotel. It was because you kept clinging to Lawrence that I released the video to Darcy to save you from the abyss. I did it all for your own good. I truly liked you back then and wanted to be with you."
She said, "So you secretly forced me to get engaged to you, almost causing Lawrence to force me to have an abortion? Your love is too terrifying, too perverse."
Rock sneered. "If it weren't for me, Lawrence would have tortured you to death long ago!"
