Chapter 941 Alone with Him

He looked absolutely stunning in his white suit, perfectly complementing his lean and tall frame. At the wedding, he was simply dazzling.

In Olivia's memory, he usually wore black, sometimes dressing very casually, resembling those understated young tycoons in movies. He might have looked unassuming, but his handsomeness was blinding.

At this moment, if she ignored his gloomy expression, his appearance in the white suit was so refined and elegant that it almost made her feel like she was in a dream.

She didn't even dare to make a sound, breathing as lightly as possible.

She was afraid that this moment alone with him was a dream that would shatter if touched. The pain in her stomach made her bite her lip quietly.

It was strange. She no longer had... the baby, so why did she still feel nauseous?

Olivia furrowed her brows and finally blamed it on the bumpy helicopter ride.

A dive, a descent.

The helicopter landed by the sea. From a distance, she could see a pure white house on the emerald bay.

It was a small villa, and because the sky was a bit overcast, the white exterior walls appeared even more glaring.

Jeremy moved his long legs and stepped out of the cabin. The powerful wind from the helicopter blades ruffled his short hair. He wore rimless glasses, making his face look cold and pale with sharp features.

He turned around, staring at Olivia, who was still dazed inside the helicopter.

The pilot in the front seat had already sensibly left!

In the suffocating awkwardness, Olivia felt she couldn't bear his cold gaze. She quickly got up, stepping out of the cabin and testing the steps to see if she could jump down smoothly—

At that moment, the tall Jeremy had already extended his arm and pulled her down in one swift motion.

Olivia let out a sharp scream, which was cut off half a second later. Jeremy's arms were long and strong. Despite the white suit making him look slender, he easily lifted Olivia, holding her under his arm as he brought her down.

Her hair, which had been pinned up, came loose and fell around her shoulders as she brushed against his chest.

She had long, naturally curly hair that cascaded like a waterfall, framing her clear and clean face, making her look somewhat like a fragile doll.

Jeremy's eyes were dark as he glanced at her, his brooding gaze quickly shifting away.

Olivia sensed his mood was still bad, the atmosphere chilling. She immediately stood up straight from his arm, raising her hand to smooth her wind-tousled hair.

Her throat felt like it was blocked with lead, but she still had to speak, cautiously, "Jeremy, why did you bring me here?"

Jeremy ignored her. The helicopter blades had stopped spinning, and the wind had died down.

His strong masculine presence enveloped Olivia, clean and crisp.

He turned and walked towards the white house.

Olivia stood her ground, unwilling to yield to him, pleading with a frown, "I don't know what you want, but we should go back!"

The wedding scene was left in chaos because of his shocking actions. What were they supposed to do now?

How could the world, including Louis, tolerate them?

Olivia didn't have his kind of fearless arrogance. From being forced to swear at the wedding to being taken away by him, she had no choice and didn't dare to resist, fearing it would make things worse for him.

But if this was a fleeting dream of elopement, then it was time for the dream to end.

Could adults really act recklessly?

"Jeremy, listen to me..."

Jeremy's long strides covered three of hers, and he refused to look back.

Olivia had no choice but to chase after him, trying to pull him back to reason, "Jeremy, Jeremy! You can't just leave your mom and family to face the ridicule of everyone in Lymington. And Mia is still there, I need to go back..."

"Winnie will take care of her."

Jeremy glanced at her coldly, standing on the steps of the villa. He pulled his long fingers from his pocket and pressed his fingerprint to open the door.

He was composed, almost nonchalant.

Olivia frowned, feeling that his indifferent attitude had made her even more uneasy. She took a deep breath, looking into his eyes behind the glasses. "We can't just hide here and let Lymington laugh at us," she said.

"What have I done to you?" He shot her a look.

His gaze was deep and cold, staring at her.

Olivia stammered, her face flushing slightly under his gaze, "You know that's not what I mean."

"Get inside!" He didn't waste words, his lips cold and unfeeling.

Olivia shook her head. "Let me go."

"The punishment hasn't even started, and you want to leave?" Jeremy laughed coldly, his glasses flashing with a cold light.

Olivia was stunned, sensing a hidden meaning and a heavy coldness in his words. She felt uneasy, "What do you want to do?"

Before she could finish, he pushed her into the house with a large hand on her back!

The new house had a simple and cold atmosphere. The living room didn't have the traditional expensive crystal chandelier; instead, it had just a few recessed lights in the ceiling, in a minimalist style.

To the right was a floor-to-ceiling window with a view of the sea, offering a breathtaking sight of the waves seemingly crashing against the glass.

Olivia couldn't hear the sound of the sea. The spacious house, with its echoed coldness, made her uneasy. She stared at her shoes, which she hadn't changed yet.

Jeremy, tall and elegant, stood at the door. He wore white shoes and didn't seem to have any intention of changing them.

His tall figure cast a long shadow, reaching Olivia's toes.

She had to speak, "Is this your house?"

"I'm hungry," Jeremy spoke again.

Jeremy removed the Windsor knot from his suit and walked over to the sofa, sitting down to drink water, his long legs naturally crossed.

Olivia heard his hint and glanced at the open kitchen.

The white countertop had a large refrigerator and all the baking tools.

It seemed someone had cooked here before. This was his property, and he had stayed here before, right?

She hesitated, feeling she shouldn't be so obedient. Just then, Jeremy slightly bent over, holding his stomach with one hand, his brows furrowed, and put down the water glass.

His ringed hand clenched, as if enduring something, his face showing faint pain.

Olivia's eyes widened, unable to help but walk over, "Is your stomach hurting?"

"Are you blind? Can't you see?" His lips were pale, his tone harsh.

Olivia felt a bit embarrassed by his words, deciding not to argue with him, "Don't hurt yourself. Lean back on the sofa... Have you not been eating properly lately?"

Jeremy looked up at her, his expression cold and mocking, "Do you think I have the mood to eat properly?"
