The company was full of people buttering up to Ishara. Some shareholders sneered. "Mr. Blanchet, why do you think Winnie is here? She just can't let go and wants to compete with Ms. Blanchet for a spot in the company?"
Ishara sensed Patrick was holding something back. 'Could Winnie have found out about our plan today?'
Ishara quickly tried to cover it up, standing up and looking softly at Winnie. "If you wants to work at headquarters, you're welcome. Uncle Patrick has never tried to exclude you. Weren't you busy with your own small company recently? You even made a lot of headlines."
She glanced at Paul, hesitating to continue.
Nancy immediately thought of the scandal where Winnie was accused of being a sugar baby and tangled with Lawrence, which also implicated Ishara. She turned cold towards Winnie.
