Chapter 885 Deceiving Her

He lied to her! He hadn't ended things with Lynn. On one hand, he couldn't let go of Lynn, and on the other, he still wanted to control her life.

Was it because of those fleeting memories in his mind?

But even if he knew the truth, what could he do? Abandon Lynn, who would never be able to have children?

Olivia suddenly woke up, sneering at how she was almost moved by his fake affection.

If even Jeremy, the father of this child, couldn't be relied upon, then there was no need to bring this up and make everyone uncomfortable. She had children with both brothers and if word got out, she would be ridiculed and scorned by the people of Lymington.

Her parents were in Lymington. How would they live?

Their relationships would become irreparable.

Olivia's bit of courage quickly retreated.

The Jeremy in front of her ultimately didn't give her any hope.

He was two-faced, still wanting to juggle two women?

Olivia's lips curled into a mocking smile.

"What's wrong, Olivia? Give me an answer!" Jeremy didn't notice she had looked through her phone. He was too impatient to wait any longer.

Olivia turned her head away, lowering her gaze. "Don't worry, the answer is, this child has nothing to do with you. You don't have to force yourself to take any responsibility for me. Luckily, this child isn't yours. You can wholeheartedly be with Lynn."

"Not my child?" Jeremy's handsome face turned ashen. He didn't understand why her attitude had changed so drastically. He wanted to dig into her mind to see what was hidden inside. He was furious. "You just implied that this child could be mine! That it was me and you on Azure Isle..."

"Nothing happened! Jeremy, do you really hope I'm carrying your child? I don't believe you'd want to deal with such trouble. After all, you have to be responsible for Lynn, your savior."

"Don't bring her into this! I told you, I'm done with her." Jeremy growled, "Why don't you believe me? We were talking just fine earlier. You just need to give me the answer, and I'll handle everything."

Why didn't she believe him?

Lynn's photo was proof of his lies.

If he was determined to marry Lynn, she would never tell him who the father of this child was.

What if Lynn was too malicious, unable to have children, and manipulated him to take this child?

Maybe this child shouldn't be kept.

Olivia made a desperate decision; she couldn't keep this child.

"You haven't said a single truthful word." Jeremy, emotionally defeated, grabbed her hand and frantically demanded, "How many days pregnant are you now? In three months, we can do an amniocentesis to see whose child it is!"

"There's no need for an amniocentesis. The child isn't yours." Olivia shook him off, despair in her eyes as she thought about how to drive him away. She suddenly let out a cold laugh. "Actually, it's Sam's."

"You're lying!" She had denied it so many times before. Was she crazy?

Jeremy's eyes turned cold, driven to the brink by her repeated claims that the child wasn't his.

He couldn't accept it. He had almost convinced himself.

"Olivia, stop playing games with me. I'll take you for an amniocentesis right now." His large hand, hot and unfeeling, grabbed her and started to drag her away.

"Are you crazy?" Olivia's eyes widened, seeing the cold glint under his glasses.

She was really scared. "It's not possible now. I know exactly whose child it is. I'm telling you, stop fantasizing that something happened between us on Azure Isle. Nothing happened, so how could I be carrying your child?"

"I didn't admit it was Sam's earlier because I look down on him. I don't want to be manipulated and entangled by him because of a pregnancy! And earlier, I did consider making you the father of this child."

"Jeremy, you're so much better than Sam. You suddenly asked me if something happened between us during your amnesia. You see my current state. I was thinking about whether to make you the father of this child to disgust Lynn!"

"But I've given up on that idea. I don't want to compete with Lynn for you. Taking you away might not be my goal. Congratulations, Jeremy, you haven't been used by me."

"You're lying." Jeremy took off his glasses, revealing his bloodshot eyes, sinister and particularly gloomy. He looked at her and said, "Say it again!"

Olivia sneered, "I said you're rich and powerful. I was thinking about having you raise Sam's child to get back at Lynn."

"Shut up! When did you get involved with him?"

Olivia looked at his pained expression, her eyes dazed. Was he really in pain?

Her nails dug deeply into her flesh. If he was really pained for her, for their relationship, then why could he still tolerate Lynn?

Why was his heart so spacious, able to hold so many women?

She dug her nails into her palm, looking mockingly at her belly. "The fetus is almost two months old. Do the math. Two months ago, you hadn't disappeared yet. Did we have any relations?"

"That day I got drunk, and Sam, that bastard, came to pester me. I couldn't fight him off. Sometimes adult women have needs too. I admit my behavior was improper."

Olivia's face turned pale as she looked to the side.

Jeremy's fist had smashed into the glass wall beside her head, blood spurting out.

"Jeremy." Olivia's eyes widened, filled with tears.

"Don't call me. I find it disgusting." Jeremy's eyes no longer held any warmth.

If the fetus was almost two months old, the child couldn't possibly be his.

He hadn't disappeared or lost his memory at that time!

Olivia had really gotten entangled with Sam.

She said her behavior was improper, and she didn't care at all.

Jeremy couldn't accept it. He couldn't accept such a promiscuous Olivia. She was no longer the Olivia in his heart.

Jeremy coldly took a step back.

"Then rest assured, I won't raise Sam's child! You can accept a man like Sam? Olivia, you're so shameless, pretending to be pure in front of me? It's disgusting."

His words hurt her.

But she had forced him to say such hurtful things.

Olivia took a deep breath, forcing all the tears back, her lips trembling as she smiled. "If I didn't pretend to be pure in front of you, how could I seduce you? Later, I found you quite boring. Sam is better at pleasing women."

Jeremy's usually fierce face was now tinged with a hint of paleness.

It was as if a coldness from hell had invaded from the corners of his eyes and brows.

He no longer deigned to touch Olivia, but Olivia was so shaken by his aura that she fell back against the wall, knocking over the cups on the cabinet.

The sound of clattering filled the room!

The door to the hospital room was quickly pushed open, and Winnie and Lawrence appeared.

Winnie rushed in, looking at the situation in shock. "Jeremy? What are you doing here?"
