Chapter 625, Oscar's Plan Confirmed

Cold sweat drips down his pale forehead, his body growing cold. "Oscar... Oscar? What's wrong with you!" Sidney, noticing his brother's dazed look and trembling pupils, shakes his arm in alarm. "It's nothing!" Oscar takes a deep breath, his thoughts in turmoil. He couldn't reveal the truth to Sidney! Just then, a car horn sounds outside the villa. Jeremy's steps draw near the door. "Oscar, Sidney, Leo might be back.

Oscar nudged Sidney to get up. "Sidney! Let's wrap up our conversation for today. You head back. While Leo won't pose a threat to me, meeting too often might alert Ishara! Remember, I'm still a patient here, under Leo's care. Got it? If you need me, signal on your watch."

Sidney said with a crestfallen face, "But Oscar, I haven't had enough time with you..."

"The most important thing is to keep mom safe!" Oscar stated.

Sidney fell silent instantly. As their mother's little protectors, her well-being was paramount to them. As boys, they had to safeguard their mother.

Sidney knew he hadn't done enough; Oscar was the resilient hero. He said, "I'll endure. As mom's little protector, I won't lose to you. If you need my help, just ask."

"Goodbye, Sidney. I miss you." Oscar said.

"I miss you too, dear brother!"

Sidney, unable to hold back his tears, quickly wiped them away with his small hand, then rushed out. He waved at the door and took his grandmother's hand as they left.

"Sidney, I'll send you and your grandmother home," Jeremy offered.

The three went down the stairs. Coincidentally, Leo returned.

Leo, seeing a boy resembling Oscar but clearly not him, grew wary. "Jeremy, who is this child?"

Jeremy forced a smile, "Dr. Sackler, Oscar has a twin brother. Haven't you heard Ishara mention it? No need to worry; Oscar has regained some memories, recalling his brother. So, the two children met today briefly. We'll leave immediately. We won't cause any trouble!"

With that last statement, Jeremy left Leo sweating profusely. He couldn't believe Oscar hadn't spilled the beans to the boy!

Oscar was complicating matters once again; what was his endgame?

"Jeremy, bringing Oscar's family here is like adding fuel to the fire. You know Ishara's bodyguard lives next door to me..."

Oscar interrupted. "That bodyguard just left for a stroll. Dr. Sackler, if you don't let my brother leave, the bodyguard might spot him."

Leo, with a grim expression, interrogated his daughter, "How long did the twins talk upstairs?"

"For quite a while," Leo's daughter, responsible for monitoring Oscar, replied.

Oscar, unfazed by potential betrayal, descended slowly. Despite his young age, he exuded a mature demeanor. His dark eyes locked onto Leo.

Leo angrily scolded him, "What are you staring at? Are you looking to cause trouble? How do you think Ishara will respond when she sees you with your family? Will she tear you apart? I've warned you before, go back home and don't involve me in your mess!"

"Ishara has been overwhelmed these days. She's probably too embarrassed to leave the house due to the news. Didn't she call you yesterday to ask about prenatal medicine?"

Oscar lazily mocked, then changed the subject, "Hey, why is the fetus in her belly so weak? It's only been a month, and she's visited you several times already. Hey, why is the fetus in her belly so weak? It's only been a month, and she's visited you several times already. Could it be an IVF baby? I heard that IVF babies are difficult to sustain."

"Why do you care so much? IVF baby, what nonsense!" Leo sneered. "A child and you're talking about pregnancy. Have you mastered the difficult cases I taught you?"

Oscar ignored him and walked ahead, abruptly grabbing his coat.

Leo turned around.

The child's eyes shone coldly in the backlight.

Oscar's expression turned cold as he pressed. "Leo, when my mother fainted in your operating room, was she pregnant?"

Leo was caught off guard, stiffening suddenly.

Oscar squinted, expecting this reaction! The more he expected, the colder he felt!

Without waiting for Leo's response, he knew Leo was fabricating lies. He sneered, "Unfortunately, she reportedly miscarried later. But she didn't even know she had a miscarriage. Strange, isn't it? Where did the aborted child go? What did you do to her that day? Was it a fetal transplant? Tell me!"

Leo's expression fell.

The child's gaze left him frozen, his legs turning weak.

For a moment, his mind went blank as he grasped Oscar's words.

'He practically figured it out on his own! How in the world did this little rascal come up with that?!

Leo struggled to conceal the truth. He swallowed nervously, forcing a tight smile as he responded, "I have no clue what you're referring to! Pregnancy and miscarriage? Those accusations are unfounded. Oscar, have I ever mistreated you? If not for my intervention, would you have endured Ishara's care? It's only fair to reciprocate kindness. Your demands are pushing me to my limits. Please, young master, vacate my premises promptly. My family relies on me, and I can't afford any trouble!"

Leo sensed the burden of his hidden truths on the verge of coming to light.

Leo's authority silenced Oscar as he pondered the boy's terrifying nature.

How had he known about Ishara's pregnancy despite his constant seclusion in the study?

Leo's authority silenced Oscar as he contemplated the boy's intimidating nature.

How had he been aware of Ishara's pregnancy despite his consistent seclusion in the study?

Ishara desperately needed a child.

And Mom happened to be pregnant, and she didn't even know herself!

All these damn coincidences.

Now, he had two tasks to confirm the truth.

Oscar contemplated his plan: first, to sneak into Leo's study and locate Ishara's surgery records to uncover the truth.

Then, he would approach Ishara, obtain the amniotic fluid, and discreetly conduct a DNA test with their mother.

Lost in thought, he pondered, ‘If... if the child truly belonged to Mom..'
