A shareholder stood up and said, "Mr. Paul Blanchet, with this scandal rocking the Blanchet family, we can't let these three keep acting like they own the place. The Blanchet family belongs to Mr. Carlos Blanchet. We can't let Patrick and Eleanor take over. Right now, Winnie is Mr. Carlos Blanchet's only biological child. Everyone knows Winnie has always protected Mr. Carlos Blanchet and the Blanchet family. I've been keeping an eye on Eternity Jewelry Co., Ltd. and I can see she has what it takes to run the company. I propose Winnie steps in to temporarily replace Patrick and Ishara and manage the Blanchet family."
Winnie's heart skipped a beat. Taking over the Blanchet family wasn't her goal, so she didn't respond right away.
"Mr. Perry, thanks for seeing me in a new light," Winnie said, then turned to the disappointed Paul. "Grandpa, don't worry. The company will always belong to Carlos. There's good news from the hospital—Carlos should wake up within three months, as long as no one keeps trying to kill him!"
Her cold gaze landed on Eleanor and Patrick.
Paul seemed to snap out of it, for the first time looking coldly at Patrick, slumped in his wheelchair.
With so many people testifying, the family scandal was out in the open. Though Paul blamed Winnie in his heart, he was also grateful. Without Winnie, Carlos might have died!
The Blanchet family might have really changed its name, and Patrick would have become unrecognizable.
His heart trembling, he waved his hand with a cold look. "Patrick, you're out. Stay away from the Blanchet family."
"Dad! Please."
"Shut up and think about what you did to your brother! As for Eleanor, I'll have someone handle your divorce from Carlos immediately. Don't think you can get anything from Patrick. I won't discuss personal matters here! And Ishara, did you know about Eleanor and Patrick's relationship?"
"Grandpa, I didn't know anything! I always thought Eleanor and Carlos were in love. How could this happen? I've been at the hospital with Carlos all this time. I don't know how Eleanor and Patrick could do this."
Ishara quickly distanced herself, crying pitifully.
Paul frowned, feeling a pang of sympathy.
Paul stayed silent, trying to figure out if she was telling the truth.
Winnie knocked on the table and looked at Ishara. "Grandpa, it's strange that she says she knows nothing. I saw her being very eager to take the junior chairman position of the Blanchet family. Why would Patrick be in such a hurry to steal the Blanchet family without discussing it with her? She says she's been at the hospital taking care of Carlos, but I go there every day and have never seen her. Ishara, if you were at the hospital, why didn't you stop Patrick from sending people to assassinate Carlos?"

"Ishara, go home," Paul said, rubbing his temples wearily. He tapped his cane on the ground, trying to regain control. He looked at Winnie, impressed by her calm and capable demeanor.
'To reassure the shareholders supporting Carlos, Winnie is the best choice for junior chairman. The Blanchet family can't stay in chaos like this,' Paul thought.
Paul had no other choice. "Everyone, rest assured. The family issues won't affect the company's future. After careful consideration, I've decided Winnie will temporarily manage the company's affairs until Carlos wakes up. She's his only daughter and will do her best. If everyone agrees, let's vote."
Ishara's nails dug into her palms, almost breaking. Her face darkened with anger. 'Did Winnie just take over the entire Blanchet family so easily? I can't accept it.'
But soon, whether it was the elders supporting Carlos or the shareholders previously bought by Patrick, most voted for Winnie to protect themselves.
"Winnie, you'll join the company tomorrow," Paul said sharply. "But if you have any selfish motives, I won't let you off."

Paul nodded thoughtfully, still not fully trusting her.
Winnie glanced at the deflated Ishara, her eyes cold. Ishara, driven by a desire for fame and profit, had schemed, hurt others, plotted against her, kidnapped Oscar, and seduced Lawrence. Today, Winnie settled all scores with her. Ishara lost her position as the heir to the Blanchet family.
Ishara's gaze was equally cold. 'I haven't lost yet, Winnie. I won't let you go.'
"The company's decisions are temporarily settled. Meeting adjourned!" Paul announced, looking much older as he walked out with Nancy, leaning on his cane. Patrick and Eleanor, ashen-faced, followed Paul. The shareholders stood up, quietly discussing the shocking scandal.
Winnie stood still, opening her palm to find it covered in cold sweat. It turned out she wasn't entirely unafraid. Even with Lysander's inside help and everything prepared, she feared unexpected changes. After all, she was an outsider to the Blanchet family. Fortunately, everything went smooth. Patrick was temporarily kicked out of the company, and Eleanor's twenty-year scheme ultimately failed. Now, she just had to wait for Carlos to wake up.
Lysander walked over to Winnie with a relieved smile. "Congratulations, junior chairman!"
Enrique sighed. "I didn't expect Ishara to be Patrick's illegitimate daughter. Mrs. Blanchet hid it too well. No, from now on, she is no longer Mrs. Blanchet! This Ishara doesn't deserve to be called Ms. Blanchet anymore. We finally kept the company for your dad. If Patrick and Ishara had taken it, Carlos would have died of anger in his bed."
Winnie lowered her eyes, still unable to relax. "I don't know if Carlos can accept this truth."
