Chapter 615 Stimulating Rock
In the pitch-black room, filled with ambiguous fragrances, two bodies were entwined on the bed.
Winnie no longer had the strength to struggle, her body controlled by an excess of strong liquor.
et her mind did not surrender. Her beautiful eyes were wide open, she stared at the moonlight outside the window, her face streaked with tears.
"No, Lawrence, I am not going to betray Rock..." Her hands were bound in Lawrence's palms.
The gentler he was, the more impatient and violent he seemed. His dark eyes, like those of a beast, were enthralling her.
Winnie wept bitterly. "You've branded me a harlot. I will hate you for all eternity, and I will never forgive you."
To not see her remorseful and pained expression, the man pulled off his tie and gently blindfolded her.
"Winnie..."
"Darling... I'm sorry, I love you too much. I can't lose you."
The scorching sensation slid down to her ear, engulfing her in agony.
Throughout the entire night, his murmurs, his ragged breaths, and his insanity shifted her gaze from defiance to weakness, slowly descending into despair. The alcohol-exposed her true feelings, leaving behind only deep-seated resentment.
Only after she fell into a deep slumber from exhaustion did Lawrence finally stretch out his broad arms. Lawrence picked her up, changed the bedding, carefully cleaned her up, and then placed her back into the warm blanket.
Lawrence rose under the shifting moonlight. The bright moonlight shone on his muscular back, which was marked with alarming scratches.
Lawrence admired his reflection in the mirror, feeling content. He then gazed at Winnie's rosy face, his thin lips forming a deep smile.
He bent down to kiss Winnie before walking into the room after finishing two cigarettes. He then retrieved a full video from the camera projected onto the bed. His expression turned cold and menacing as he isolated a discreet segment and sent it to Rock. No man could endure such a revelation; it was a significant dishonor for his wife to be involved with another man on their wedding night.
Lawrence didn't consider himself despicable.
'Rock, you asked for this! After you watch this video segment, I don't believe you can act as if nothing happened and continue to accept Winnie. You married Winnie with despicable means. In return, I will use vile means to take her back. No one can take her away!'
At dawn, nearly five in the morning.
Lymington Hotel suite.
Rock hadn't slept all night, standing dry-eyed on the balcony, blowing cold wind all night, the ashtray and the floor littered with cigarette butts.
Behind him was the bridal chamber, luxuriously decorated with a warm atmosphere.
Rock turned around, staring blankly at the decorations symbolizing early childbirth, each placed by his own hands.
He had thought that tonight, Winnie would become his wife.
It was supposed to be their wedding night, but Winnie was taken away by Lawrence.
'Where is she?' Rock racked his brains but couldn't find any trace of Lawrence.
What was she doing in the dead of night? Could it be... Rock couldn't remain calm when he thought of this. Anger rose in his eyes.
Suddenly, his phone beeped.
An anonymous message came in. Rock slowly picked up the phone on the table, opened it, and found a video.
In the dimly lit, luxurious room, there was a round large bed. Even without the lights on, one could vaguely see two figures under the quilt on the bed. Winnie's voice came from the video! She was in pain; she was repressed, but without exception, her cries were peculiar and seductive.
As a mature man, Rock couldn't have been inexperienced in matters of love.
Rock's eyes were fixed in place, his heart feeling as though it had been suddenly pierced by a knife. A blend of heartbreak and intense anger twisted his entire face, exposing a fierce expression.
He wasn't a fool; he could see what they were up to! He had been deceiving himself, holding onto hope, unwilling to believe.
Tonight was supposed to be his and Winnie's wedding night. He had been waiting for this day.
Three years ago, in his mother's hospital room, when he first laid eyes on Winnie's beautiful, clean face, she captivated his attention. He had told her that he was deeply impressed by her at the banquet when she turned 18.
In their following meetings, he disguised himself as his mother and had her create jewelry. Through these interactions, he developed a fondness for the girl. When he confessed his feelings, he was harshly rejected, only to later find out she was already married in secret.
He experienced a period of despair, but fate reunited them in Perugia City, where she aided Lawrence in escaping prison, and he helped in treating Mr. Lancelot. Witnessing Winnie's anguish caused by Lawrence, he continuously supported her, offering comfort and assistance in her escape to a foreign country.
When she returned three years later, she made a vow to avoid relationships and focused on seeking revenge against Lawrence and Darcy, a task he reluctantly agreed to. Understanding that in order to earn her affection, he needed to become stronger, he made the decision to venture into Trento City and use her biological father's connections for assistance.
After much effort, she finally agreed to his proposal. At that moment, he was elated, as the woman he had loved for years was finally going to be his.
He meticulously planned every detail of the wedding in Lymington with her in mind, agreeing to Ronnie's request to turn the low-key event into something grand. Taking every precaution, he was certain that Lawrence wouldn't be able to ruin his wedding. However, on that very night, his own wife ended up in bed with Lawrence.
The intense hatred consumed him. "Lawrence, I, Rock, swear to the heavens, I will make you suffer a fate worse than death; I will crush you to pieces!" Rock shouted towards the sky, losing control as he turned, knocking over everything on the balcony and punching the wall until blood spattered.
"Why would you do this to me, Winnie? If you didn't give consent, how could he touch you? You have no shame, screaming like that... damn it, damn it..." Rock cried out in pain, his eyes burning with sinister resentment.
In the past, when she was intimate with Lawrence, he always claimed he didn't mind. But back then, she hadn't agreed to date and marry him. Now, as his wife, she shamelessly spent the night with another man. Unforgivable!
Rock's fists gradually clenched, love replaced by hatred in his eyes. At that moment, his loathing towards Lawrence peaked, and he also began to despise Winnie. He wouldn't let this pair off the hook, no, he wouldn't...
