Chapter 235 Darcy’s true nature.
After about half an hour of driving, they arrived at a small resort at the foot of the mountain. Olivia hid the girl in one of the lodges. She took Winnie's hand and hurriedly opened the door. The pale, thin girl stood up fearfully, "Miss Smith."
"Come on, let's go." Olivia rushed the girl.
The girl quickly ran over, and the three women rushed out together into the dark night towards the car.
However, suddenly, flashlights lit up all around, revealing Darcy's smirking figure. "Miss Anderson, Miss Smith, where do you think you're escaping to?"
"Darcy?!" Olivia exclaimed in fear, immediately standing in front of Winnie. They were surrounded by dozens of tough henchmen.
The three women were almost powerless to resist and were quickly bound and dragged into the house. The door of the lodge closed shut behind them!
Darcy leaned against the door, in a ghostly manner and gazed at Winnie's pale face. She walked over and pinched her chin, saying,
"I told you, being pregnant is your biggest burden. I didn't expect you to discover my secret and attempt to bring this 'evidence' to Mr. L to expose my true nature. Do you think as long as he knows I harmed Madam Rodriguez, all misunderstandings about you will turn into suspicions against me? What a way to cut off the source! Unfortunately, tonight, all three of you will have to keep your mouths shut!"
"Darcy, you venomous witch! Don't you dare touch Winnie!" Olivia shouted, "You injected her with an abortion drug. Lawrence R won't let you off once he finds out!"
The woman walked up and kicked Olivia hard, sneering, "Do you know where you failed tonight? You were so desperate to save Winnie, afraid something might happen to her child, right? How pitiful you are, gambling everything without anyone's help."
Olivia pounded the ground in anger. Winnie had spent too much time in that miserable hospital. Her child might even die at any second because of the harmful drugs.
She had to save Winnie first. She had considered asking Benjamin and Jeremy for help, but in the end she couldn’t guarantee they wouldn't tell Lawrence R?
Winnie had to escape first before Olivia could let Lawrence R know the truth. Only when Lawrence R knows can he confront Darcy with the girl!
"You're too passive. If you fall into my hands, your fate will be..." Darcy grabbed the girls hair and signaled the thug with a sinister look.
The thug struck the thin, pale girl on the head with a bludgeon. She let out a painful cry, collapsed to the ground, and blood poured out from her head, convulsing before losing consciousness and eventually breathing her last.
"Darcy!" Winnie broke out in a cold sweat, her pupils turning pale. Olivia was clearly horrified, rendered speechless by the scene.
Was this the fate of the young girl they had worked so hard to find evidence of ? Beaten to death like this?
Winnie's fingers trembled at the sight of the young girl, she was so innocent. She looked at Darcy in horror, realizing that this woman had more than just a malicious nature.
"I am a debutante from a prominent family. Have you learned your lesson now? I'll make you regret opposing me!" Darcy taunted as she took out several remittance receipts and the girl's medical examination report from her tightly held pocket.
She glanced over them and then moved to Winnie's side, searching her coat pocket for any evidence.
She held the evidence in her hand, mocking the two of them as she tore it into pieces before their faces.
"Darcy, you're a dead woman!" Olivia, watching all the evidence they had painstakingly collected about her fake kidney donation being destroyed, Olivia glared at Darcy with venom in her eyes and tried to attack her.
Darcy glanced at Winnie and coldly ordered the thug, "You're next, Olivia. You almost exposed my secret by helping Winnie hide. You're also half of the evidence. How should I deal with you?”
“Winnie, should I let a few thugs have their way with her. I've heard she's the only innocent girl among the three of you who hasn't married yet. Once she's ruined, you'll be heartbroken and shattered, won't you?" Darcy gave off an evil laugh.
Winnie felt despair, her dilated pupils tinged with bloodshot veins. "Darcy, if you seek vengeance against me, leave Olivia out of it! Aren't you afraid Lawrence R will find out about everything?"
"If you dare to lay a hand on me, Mr. Martin and Mr. DeRoss are still in Lymington tonight, even if Lawrence R isn't here. Sooner or later, they will find out. When they discover what you've done and the person you just killed, they won't spare you!" Olivia urgently shouted.
Darcy wasn't afraid of being threatened, and she smirked mysteriously at them. "Don't tell me you still don't know that Mr. L purposely left Lymington to hide from you, Winnie, the innocent one?”
Darcy continued in a smug tone “As for Mr. DeRoss? Ha, these thugs are Jeremy's men. I was so favored by Mr. L, Benjamin, and Jeremy..."
"He is on my side." Darcy said with a hint of arrogance.
"It's impossible. Jeremy would never help you torment us," Olivia shook her head in disbelief.
Darcy sneered and looked at Winnie, "Why is it impossible? Mr. L found out that you are mentally unstable. After returning home today, he no longer wants this child because I had the doctor tell him that the child is autistic. He finds it troublesome."
"You're talking nonsense!" Winnie's defensive walls were torn apart, and tears shimmered in her eyes. "He is a rational adult. How could he believe your lies?"
"Maybe it's because he never wanted a child in the first place. Don't you remember that he forced you to have an abortion? Haven't you realized?" Darcy pushed on relentlessly.
"Winnie, don't listen to her. She is spreading rumors to make you collapse. Lawrence R does want the baby, don't believe her!" Olivia encouraged Winnie.
Winnie, who had already been forcibly admitted to a mental institution by Lawrence R, had never fully recovered from her emotional breakdown. Her state of mind was on the verge of shattering.
"Guards, drug her and take her to the rooms prepared in the club where those thugs are waiting. Let her enjoy a night, becoming a fallen woman just like Winnie, unable to get married." Darcy, annoyed by Olivia's noise, personally fed her seven or eight pills.
"No! Darcy, stop it! Don't harm Olivia. If you touch her, I will kill you!!"
