Chapter 876 Olivia Was Pregnant

"Mia, don't panic. When did she faint?" Winnie stood up from behind her desk.

"Five minutes ago, no, eight minutes ago. I don't know how to count this." Mia was extremely helpless.

After all, she was just a child. Winnie felt a headache coming on. "Mia, don't cry. Can you go downstairs by yourself and find Lena next door, or Elliott? Can you do that?"

"Winnie, I don't want to leave Mommy. I'm afraid she'll die. She's not responding to me! What should I do? I want to call Jeremy, but I'm afraid Mommy will get mad." Mia stubbornly refused to leave Olivia.

Winnie quickly grabbed her handbag and coat, ignoring even the HR manager, and rushed out of the office, instructing Lysander, "Get the car ready, and hurry!"

Lysander saw her holding the phone, her brows furrowed. "Ms. Anderson, is something wrong?"

"Yes." Winnie hurried into the elevator and immediately called Lena on another phone before the doors closed.

She was afraid Olivia was in shock and didn't know how long she had been unconscious, fearing it might be life-threatening.

Five minutes later, Winnie drove out of the company.

Lena called back, "Winnie, Olivia really fainted! I called an ambulance, but although she looks pale, she isn't foaming at the mouth. I don't know her condition yet. The ambulance is here! Should I take her to the hospital?"

"Take her immediately! I'm on my way."

Winnie gripped the steering wheel tightly.

Damn it, stuck in lunchtime traffic.

When she finally rushed to the hospital and ran into the emergency surgery corridor, she saw Lena standing there alone.

"Winnie!"

"How's Olivia?"

"The doctor just took her in. The paramedics didn't say much on the way. Do you think she might need surgery?"

Lena had registered based on Olivia's condition from the previous night.

Winnie patted her slender shoulder. "Thank you. You should go back now. Oh, and make sure the nanny comforts Mia, or bring Mia to my place to stay with Sidney and Oscar."

"I asked my dad to check on Mia next door. When I left, Mia was clinging to Olivia, afraid she might die." Lena sighed.

Winnie's eyes reddened slightly, feeling a pang of sorrow. Olivia had taken care of Mia all these years, and they hadn't been apart for three years. Mia felt very insecure.

Maybe Olivia had fainted from exhaustion before.

That was why Mia was so scared.

It was all because three years ago, Olivia was kidnapped by Darcy to a club and raped by Sam!

She was supposed to be a young lady of the Smith Family, but her life took a drastic turn. She was plagued by rumors of rape, got pregnant out of wedlock, and was harshly suppressed by Darcy for three years!

Winnie covered her forehead with her hand, feeling heartbroken and regretful.

"Winnie, are you blaming yourself again?" Lena said helplessly.

Winnie composed herself. "I hate that I went abroad back then and couldn't help Olivia at all."

"Everyone has their own fate and circumstances, which are beyond control. Olivia endured three years of hardship and hiding, but now she's reunited with you. She has Mia, and although life isn't perfect, I think she's quite objective about it."

"No, Lena, you're wrong. Olivia isn't optimistic at all. These three years have brought her too much inferiority. She used to be so confident. But now, she doesn't even dare to approach someone like Jeremy. I can feel she's always cautiously guarding her heart, punishing herself for not deserving love."

Winnie recalled in a low voice, fearing something might be seriously wrong with Olivia's health this time.

"Don't worry, Olivia isn't seriously ill. The doctor's expression didn't seem like it." Lena tried to calm her down. "Olivia is still young."

Winnie smiled awkwardly and stopped her thoughts. "Alright, I'll handle things here. You go to work, Lena."

"Okay, call me if anything happens. Or you can call Mr. Rodriguez!" Lena said with a wink and a smile as she left.

Winnie was speechless for a moment and pushed her away.

She leaned against the wall, which felt especially cold. Patients and doctors hurried by, each with a look of exhaustion and fear of the unknown.

Winnie clenched her hands. Olivia was very important to her, not just as a good friend, but more like family.

"Is the family of patient number 13 here?" Suddenly, a doctor emerged from the emergency room, wearing rubber gloves but no blood on them.

Winnie breathed a slight sigh of relief and immediately stood up. "Hello, doctor! I'm Olivia's friend. Has she woken up? She might have fainted from severe stomach pain."

"The initial diagnosis doesn't suggest that," the doctor interrupted Winnie, frowning.

His expression made Winnie uneasy. "Then, doctor, what's her condition?"

The doctor raised an eyebrow at her, noticing her tailored suit, expensive handbag, and clear yet sharp eyes. He spoke with a bit more patience. "You should transfer her to the OB-GYN department."

"What?" Winnie was stunned and repeated the diagnosis. "But doctor, my friend had stomach pain and vomiting last night. She thought she might have eaten something bad."

The doctor sneered. "You don't trust my judgment? If it were a gastrointestinal issue, her body temperature wouldn't be high, and her blood tests don't show a bacterial infection. How do you expect me to treat her in proctology?"

Winnie was puzzled.

She was also a doctor. If the body temperature was high and bacterial infection was ruled out, then gastrointestinal or appendicitis was almost impossible.

The doctor had just said to transfer to OB-GYN.

Gynecology? Or obstetrics?

Winnie found it a bit unbelievable!

Could Olivia have some other condition?

She didn't say much more and immediately walked into the ward, where a nurse was already pushing Olivia out.

She was still unconscious, her delicate eyebrows furrowed, her round eyes closed, and her eyelashes trembling slightly.

"Olivia, Olivia?" Winnie frowned and called her.

After receiving several test results, she returned to the ward, where a nurse was drawing blood from Olivia's arm.

Winnie waited for them to take the blood samples for testing.

No doctor came in during this time.

She held her bag, walked to the bedside with her hands folded, and couldn't help but look at Olivia. Her face was small, her jawline delicate and round, giving her a cute appearance. Even at twenty-six, after having Mia, she didn't look mature at all.

Olivia was a beauty, with natural long curly hair, thick eyelashes, and delicate eyebrows.

If it weren't for her fiery personality, she would look truly innocent and cute.

She shouldn't have had any sexual experiences in the past three years.

How could she have a gynecological issue?

No, something was not right.
