Chapter 693 Rock Disguise

Her assistant chimed in, "He's got the looks, the cash, and his star's still rising. Bet he doesn't even spoil Winnie like he does you."

Sierra smirked, "Duh, I'm a virgin, way more appealing. Who knows how many guys Winnie’s been with. Rock says he hasn't even touched her 'cause he thinks she's gross."

"Mr. Harrington just talks big about loving her. No guy's cool with his wife sleeping around."

Sierra shot a glance in a certain direction and motioned for her assistant to come closer.

Then Sierra burst out laughing, "Wanna know why he keeps Winnie around?"

"Why? If it were me, I'd have ditched her ages ago."

"He's got big plans. If Winnie wasn't an Anderson, he'd have dumped her. Rock's gunning for a top spot, so he's playing it safe. But he's no saint. Besides me, he's a total player. Maybe he held back with Winnie, and now he's going wild. Just yesterday, he hit up a private club, and Winnie’s clueless."

"Ms. Brooks, you gotta lock him down and get him to divorce Winnie."

"Once I get knocked up, it'll all fall into place. Let's bounce; he wants to keep things on the down-low." Sierra said.

"He's got guts, booking the presidential suite."

Sierra sneered, "You don't get it. The hotel's manager is tight with the Harrington Group. Who'd think he's here for a hookup? Later, he'll just call a few execs for a meeting. Who's gonna catch him?"

After that, Sierra gave a knowing look down the hallway.

The two of them walked off, laughing.

Olivia, hiding in the emergency exit, was fuming. Her chest felt like it was gonna explode. Waves of anger crashed over her. Eventually, she felt a chill down her spine. She stared hard at the presidential suite door, but Rock didn't come out. A few minutes later, a bunch of male execs showed up. They knocked, Rock opened the door, looked around, and grinned, "Come on in for the meeting."

Olivia glared at him, seething, thinking, 'This shameless jerk. Snapping a pic won't help. Sierra's right; he's just here for a 'meeting.' Even if I spill to Winnie, he'll flash the business contract, and I'll have nothing. Winnie might even buy his story.'

Olivia took a deep breath. She suddenly realized they’d all underestimated Rock, thinking he was this nice, upright guy. But from Sierra's words, Rock was hiding a lot. Olivia felt a chill in her heart.

'Sierra said Rock actually despises Winnie. Plus, he's dead set on not divorcing her because of her family, not love. He's got some shady plans, maybe even eyeing the Blanchet family.' The thought made Olivia shiver. 'Maybe he really hates Winnie, and out of spite, he's letting Sierra get pregnant. Once that kid's born, will Winnie get dumped and her family's assets snatched?' Olivia's throat tightened, her breathing got all messed up. Her mind raced, realizing Winnie hadn't married a good guy but another bad one. 'At least Lawrence truly loves Winnie. Rock's terrifying if my suspicions are right. I gotta make Winnie see Rock for who he really is.'

Olivia coldly packed up her laptop bag and bolted out of the hotel, heading back to Dazzling Estate with a heavy heart. She didn't go to her new villa but straight to Winnie's house next door. Winnie had just come home from work and was making dinner. Seeing Olivia storm in looking all frazzled, she was taken aback and asked, "Did you go to the factory? Did you find anything?"

"I found something huge!" Olivia gulped down a big glass of water to calm herself.

Winnie asked, "Did you find a clue about Jeremy?"

'Winnie is so clueless, still has no idea,' Olivia thought.

"Winnie, I gotta tell you something," Olivia said, her expression dead serious.

"Aunt Olivia, why are you being so harsh to my mommy?" Oscar, sensing the tension, asked.

Olivia glared at him and said, "Stay out of this. Winnie, come here!"

Winnie frowned, wiped her hands, and walked over.

Olivia was just about to spill the beans when there was a noise at the door. Rock walked in, gracefully taking off his coat, "You're all here. Winnie, it smells amazing. What did you cook? I've been working late and I'm starving."

Olivia stared at him in disbelief, thinking how there could be such a despicable man as Rock, and he, a seasoned pretender, was really lying without a hint of guilt.

Olivia shuddered and thought, 'If I expose him now, Rock will surely deny it. Without evidence, his acting skills might even turn the tables on me, not to mention that there are people here who are very satisfied with Rock, like Elliot and Lena. Will they believe my baseless claims?' Her mind was a mess, trying to calm herself down.

Winnie looked at Rock, "Dinner is almost ready. But Olivia called me out just now; she has something to talk about. Olivia, what do you want to say?"

Olivia opened her mouth, seeing everyone looking at her. Even Oscar was there. The timing was terrible. She wasn't confident that everyone would believe her, so she had to swallow her anger and shake her head, "Nothing!"

"Why are you making such a fuss if it's nothing?" Winnie, suspicious, wrinkled her nose, "What do you want to say?"

"Forget it! Go back to cooking; I'm hungry too," Olivia said dismissively.

Winnie returned to the kitchen, and soon she and Lena brought out five or six dishes.

"Winnie, the food looks great, just like you," Rock said, leaning close to Winnie and complimenting her, "Let me guess, you made the pizza and the creamy mushrooms, right?"

"Rock, you're amazing," Lena said, giving him a thumbs up.

Rock smiled, "Well, Winnie and I go way back. Let me taste the soup first; it smells delicious."

Winnie looked at the bowl of soup, actually a dish she had learned from Lawrence.
