Chapter 913 Dull Pain

Olivia's face was pale and tense, her big eyes filled with panic, flickering slightly.

'Why is he here?'

'Did he hear everything?'

Her fists clenched tightly at her sides. His gaze was calm, but it felt like it was tearing her apart. That cold, indifferent smile made her shiver all over...

She didn't even notice her nails digging into her palms.

Her mind was racing, trying to remember what she had said to deliver that fatal blow to Lynn.

Liliana saw Jeremy and immediately screamed dramatically, "Jeremy, Jeremy! Lynn's about to be killed by Olivia! What do we do? There's so much blood, she's bleeding so much, her wrist is broken... Where's the doctor?!"

Noah didn't go for the doctor either, instead joining in, "Lynn, Lynn, wake up! Say something to me!"

Lynn lay on the ground, barely conscious, reaching out to Jeremy with tear-streaked cheeks, "Jeremy, I'm not gonna make it. Don't blame Olivia. She probably found out about our upcoming wedding and got jealous, so she impulsively attacked me. But it hurts so much, it hurts! Am I gonna die?"

Jeremy's gaze shifted coldly from Olivia's face to the large pool of blood on the floor.

He rushed in, his tall frame pushing past Olivia, who instinctively stepped forward.

Olivia's slender body was shoved back hard, nearly falling to the ground.

She instinctively held her stomach, then let go with trembling, cold hands, her lips pressed tightly together.

"How is she?" Jeremy knelt down with his long legs, scooping Lynn up and urgently placing her on the bed.

Lynn clung to his neck, her voice weak and tearful, "Jeremy, my hand will never heal. How could Olivia be so cruel?

Do you think I'll be disabled forever? I'll never use my right hand again. This is my right hand.

Jeremy, you can't leave me. I'm scared, I have nothing left..."

Lynn's sobbing voice made Jeremy's eyes cold and unfeeling.

He found it annoying.

But right now, he had to save Lynn. He couldn't let her die today, not by Olivia's hand. Did Olivia really want to go to jail?

If Lynn ended up disabled, he would have to marry her.

A surge of anger filled him as he glanced at the desperate figure by the door. "Olivia, you hurt her. You have to take responsibility. Apologize to her!"

As soon as Jeremy spoke, Noah and Liliana's expressions changed. Liliana glanced at Lynn.

Lynn's pale lips slowly curved into a smile.

"Jeremy, even though Olivia did something terrible today, she's just young and jealous of me. She didn't know any better," Lynn pleaded tearfully for Olivia.

"If she doesn't know any better, then she can go to jail. Apologize, and Lynn and I will let you off!"

Jeremy's cold gaze bore into Olivia's back, his peripheral vision catching Lynn's expression, "Is that fair?"

Lynn was stunned, his icy eyes suppressing any emotion.

She suddenly understood that he seemed to be protecting her, but in reality, he was trying to make Olivia back down.

Under such pressure, could she say no? Could she call the police? That would make her the unreasonable one in his eyes.

Lynn reluctantly pulled at her lips, feigning a generous demeanor, "Jeremy, as long as you know I've been wronged, it's fine. Olivia has a fiery and twisted personality, and I don't blame her."

"Alright, I'll make sure the doctor heals you." Jeremy reassured her softly, then looked up, his eyes like icy pools, "Olivia, I said apologize!"

His eyes were icy, demanding more than just an apology to Lynn.

The things she had said earlier were so hurtful that Jeremy didn't want to remember.

He just felt that Olivia had hurt him again and again.

And he was foolish, even though he had been hurt, he still worried about her safety, running over here like a fool, which now seemed like the biggest joke.

Their past closeness was just a tool for her to use against Lynn and show off.

She had gotten close to him just to get back at Lynn.

She had played with his feelings, and now she was done with him. Did she think he would be proud of picking up her leftovers?

Jeremy was disgusted by her. How could she be so shameless?

The affection he once had for her was trampled beyond recognition, and his rage erupted like a volcano inside him.

"You want me to apologize? Do you know what she did to me?" Olivia laughed bitterly, shouting at him.

"Apologize." Jeremy wanted her to admit her wrongs, to make Olivia fully realize the consequences of playing with him.

He walked over, his eyes behind his glasses growing colder, approaching her.

Olivia didn't want to look at him anymore, her mind filled with the image of him pushing her aside and urgently holding Lynn. It felt like iron wires were piercing her heart, the pain overwhelming her.

She realized she couldn't take it anymore.

She turned and walked out quickly.

"Stop right there!" Jeremy's eyes were bloodshot, grabbing her arm.

"Let go of me." She struggled, of course.

In the struggle, how could she possibly be a match for him? When Jeremy used force, she was like a bird with broken wings, thrown against the wall outside the door.

Olivia's back ached, and the impact made her abdomen tremble.

She hurriedly looked down, but her chin was cruelly lifted by him. Jeremy's eyes burned with volcanic anger, suppressed by a deep, ruthless coldness. He stared at her with disgust, "Did I say you could leave?!"

"If I don't leave, should I stay and let you help her bully me? Jeremy, you can spoil Lynn, but don't trample on me. We have nothing to do with each other, I'm not your toy to please her!"

What was she saying, her eyes filled with such deep resentment towards him?

Jeremy's eyes flickered, feeling even more stifled, finding it laughable, "If I wanted to bully you, I wouldn't need Lynn. Stop talking nonsense. Knowing someone as calculating as you is the misfortune of my life."

Olivia's heart ached, falling into a deep abyss.

She laughed too, tears streaming down her face, looking at him with a sorrowful gaze, "I'm the misfortune of your life?

Then is Lynn the luck of your life? Are you really going to marry her? Jeremy, I'm only asking this once."

Jeremy's icy eyes paused.

But thinking of the things she had said to Lynn earlier, his throat burned with pain, his words like cold, burning liquor, "If I don't marry her, should I marry a woman who's been with countless men? I'm going to marry her, so what!"

He was retaliating, and she had called him second-hand goods.

The last glimmer of light in Olivia's eyes went completely dark.

She could choose not to believe what Lynn said.

But hearing it from Jeremy himself, she had no choice but to believe.

As Lynn said, he was now completely devoted to her, even planning their wedding.

So, did he know about what Lynn did to Jake?
