Chapter 118 Feed Me Medicine

William didn't give Ulysses any respect, which really ticked him off. But in front of William, Ulysses had to keep it cool. He just frowned and said, "Your mom and I are looking out for the Fisher Group. Hope you don't regret this."

William just let out a cold laugh and stayed quiet.

Once Ulysses left, William's lips tightened, and his eyes got all complicated. He used to respect Ulysses, but now, the guy was getting harder to figure out.

Back at her desk, Margaret was bugging the head of testing at the Ravenford HQ jewelry factory to get her the test results. Half an hour later, they came in.

Just as she thought, the "Ice and Fire" jewelry from HQ was all good. Margaret sighed in relief; the problem was definitely with Fleurancia.

She quickly gathered the info and took it to William. This stuff was crucial for the afternoon's press conference.

At the CEO's office door, Margaret ran into Ulysses again. He was storming out, looking pissed. When he saw Margaret, his face got even darker.

"Mr. Young," Margaret greeted him with a smile.

Ulysses just gave her a look and walked off.

Margaret knocked on the door. "Can I come in?"

William's lips curved slightly, his voice clear. "Come in."

Margaret walked in and saw William holding the bottle of cold medicine she gave him. His eyes were fixed on it, a mysterious smile on his lips.

Hearing her, William put down the bottle, his deep eyes on Margaret, his lips parting slightly. "Margaret, I was just about to look for you."

Margaret handed him the info. "The test results are out. The HQ jewelry is fine. The problem's with Fleurancia."

William took the info but barely glanced at it before putting it on the desk. Margaret was surprised. With the press conference coming up, this info was super important, but William didn't even look at it.

Margaret frowned and reminded him. "Aren't you gonna check it? This info is crucial for the press conference."

"Of course, I know." William chuckled. "But there's something more important."

Margaret was stunned and instinctively asked, "What is it?"

William pointed to the bottle of medicine on the desk, his eyes teasing. "Feed me the medicine."

Margaret was shocked. At a time like this, William was still thinking about that!

William's lips curved, his eyes still cold but with a hint of a teasing smile. "You wouldn't be so heartless as to let me attend the press conference with a cold, would you?"

Margaret rolled her eyes at him. "You better not bite me again!"

With William's consent, Margaret picked up the bottle of medicine, opened the cap, poured out two pills, and placed them in William's mouth.

Maybe the medicine was a bit bitter; William's brows furrowed slightly, his thin lips parting. "I need water."

"Then drink it." Margaret pursed her lips warily. What was this guy up to now?

"You feed me." William's thin lips moved like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Margaret was speechless. Fine, if she was gonna help, she might as well go all the way. Margaret picked up William's water cup, poured some water, and brought it to his lips, her tone indifferent. "Drink."

William leaned back slightly, his deep eyes looking at her. "Test the water temperature for me."

Facing a guy like William, Margaret lost all her anger. She took a sip. The water temperature was just right. But this was William's water cup, and now she had drunk from it. Was this an indirect kiss?

Her face involuntarily heated up. Margaret quickly took a deep breath to dispel the weird thoughts in her mind.

"It's fine, you can drink now." Margaret handed the cup to William.

William didn't take it, his deep eyes fixed on her flushed face.

"What are you looking at?" Margaret felt uncomfortable under his gaze and frowned.

William chuckled lowly. "Margaret, why are you blushing?"

Margaret felt a wave of embarrassment, biting her lip. "I'm not."

William raised an eyebrow, continuing to tease her. "Really? Go look in the mirror."

Margaret was a bit annoyed, directly bringing the cup to William's lips. "William, are you gonna drink or not?"

Seeing Margaret like an angry little rabbit, William's deep eyes softened a bit. Just as he was about to take the cup, a sudden female voice rang out, "Margaret, what are you doing!"

The sudden voice startled Margaret, causing her hand holding the cup to tremble. She almost spilled the water on William.

She turned to see Lucy glaring at her with jealous eyes.

For some reason, the image of William and Lucy dancing flashed in her mind, making Margaret's face turn cold. She placed the cup heavily on the desk. "I gotta go."

"No need," William said in a deep voice.

Margaret ignored him, turning to leave. Suddenly, a strong hand gripped her waist, causing her to slip and fall onto William. Margaret's face landed directly between William's legs, an extremely suggestive position.

Lucy was stunned, taking a few seconds to react. This shameless country girl, Margaret, was deliberately seducing William in front of her!

Lucy, in her high heels, walked over and tried to pull Margaret off William, scolding, "Margaret, what are you doing? Have some decency!"

Feeling Lucy's intense jealousy, Margaret stood up and wrapped her arms around William's neck, snuggling into his embrace. She cleared her throat. "Don't you know how to knock? Interrupting me and my fiancé, how rude."

"You!" Lucy was speechless, her eyes filled with hostility, as if she wanted to kill Margaret.

Margaret's soft, alluring body leaned against William, causing his breath to hitch. He tightly wrapped his arm around her waist, his cold eyes looking at Lucy. "What do you want?"
