Chapter 414 Everything is Ready

Daisy glared at Angel, her dislike for her even stronger than her disdain for Margaret.

A girl who sang at a bar wanted to become the lady of the Fisher family?

What a joke!

"William, I don't agree," Daisy said, trying to keep her cool, but her tone was firm.

Angel looked at Daisy nervously, mustering the courage to speak, "Mrs. Fisher, I know you don't accept me, but I really love William. We're getting engaged tomorrow. Can you give us your blessing?"

"Blessing? You've got some nerve!" Abigail, who had a fiery temper, was even more enraged by Angel's two-faced act, completely losing her composure.

William calmly pulled Angel behind him and faced Daisy. "Angel and I love each other. Whether you agree or not, she's going to be my wife. I brought her here today just to show her the house. The rest isn't that important."

William's message was clear: Abigail and Daisy's opinions didn't matter to him.

In the entire Fisher family, he felt that Bradley was the only one who genuinely cared for him.

"You!" Daisy's face turned pale with anger, and she seemed to be gritting her teeth. But William ignored her, taking Angel's hand and heading towards the study.

"Come on, I'll show you the other rooms."

Angel followed William, sneaking a glance at Abigail's expression before quickly turning back. A smug smile appeared on her lips, her eyes full of triumph.

[Even if you don't like me, William will still marry me in the end.]

Abigail watched helplessly as William and Angel walked away, unable to do anything but sit back down angrily, slapping the cushion on the sofa in frustration.

Daisy sighed, feeling somewhat helpless. "Why are you so anxious? Don't worry, she won't marry into our family."

"But! But! William is getting engaged to her tomorrow! You have no idea, the internet is flooded with news about her interviews. It's causing quite a stir!"

The more Abigail thought about it, the more jealous and helpless she felt.

The news of William and Angel's engagement was now widely known, with the internet buzzing about their engagement ceremony tomorrow.

Margaret had seen numerous photos of Angel "coincidentally" being interviewed at various jewelry and bridal shops over the past few days.

She was eager to let everyone know, wanting to establish herself as the future lady of the Fisher family as soon as possible.

Margaret's fingers lightly brushed across her phone screen, looking at the entertainment news about the two of them online, and she chuckled softly.

With the engagement ceremony tomorrow, this drama was about to come to an end.

She was even looking forward to tomorrow's scene.

Margaret quickly called Anthony. "Tomorrow is William and Angel's engagement ceremony. Are the preparations ready?"

Anthony's cheerful voice came through the receiver. "Don't worry, Ada. Everything's set. It's gonna be perfect. Just wait and see!"

"Alright, I'll leave it to you."

Margaret smiled, chatted with Anthony for a bit, then hung up the phone, staring at the ceiling with a sense of satisfaction.

This big plan would come to fruition tomorrow.

On the way back to Water Moon Estate from Fisher Manor, Angel sat in the passenger seat, occasionally glancing at William, who was driving, clearly wanting to say something but hesitating.

"What's up?" William noticed Angel's expression and asked.

Angel clenched her hands, looking nervous. After a moment of hesitation, she said, "I noticed your mom and Abigail seemed pretty upset earlier. Do you think they might..."

"What are you worried about?" William interrupted her, knowing what she was about to say. He reached out to hold her hand. "You're marrying me, not them. There's nothing to fear."

Angel had been waiting for those words. She paused, then smiled.

"William, you're so good to me."

By the time they returned to Water Moon Estate, it was already evening. After dinner, they each went about their own business. But at eight o'clock, Angel knocked on William's door.

William had just finished sending a message to Margaret. Hearing the knock, he sent another "Do Not Disturb" message, then turned off the screen and tucked his phone under his pillow. "Come in."

Angel walked in, wearing something that was practically lingerie, her figure barely concealed, her shoulders gleaming white. She had curled her hair, making her look even more feminine.

"William, you're still awake."

William was visibly taken aback by Angel's outfit, then shifted his gaze to the novel in his hand. "It's still early. But you, why aren't you wearing more? Is there something you need?"

"No." Angel's voice was much softer than usual. Seeing William's reaction, she smiled inwardly, then tentatively sat on the bed, moving closer to him, wrapping her arms around his, her hand resting on his chest.

"I just felt uneasy alone and couldn't sleep. I wanted to be with you. William, we're getting engaged tomorrow. I'm so happy."

As she spoke, her hand slowly moved down William's chest, tracing circles with her fingers, trying to unbutton his shirt.

"Angel, don't." William stopped Angel's wandering hand.

Angel had tried this trick several times recently, and William had always found a way to deflect her. He was frustrated that she was trying again tonight, but thankfully, the engagement ceremony was tomorrow.

Soon, it would all be over.

"William," Angel looked at him, feeling wronged. "We're about to be married. I told you I'm willing. You don't need to hold back."

Even if William didn't want to, he had to keep up the act.

He ruffled Angel's hair. "You said it yourself, we're about to be married. There's no rush."

He sighed softly. "Besides, there's a lot to do tomorrow. You should get some rest. There's no hurry."
