Chapter 319 Caught in the Act

Thinking of this, Angel quickly hailed a cab and told the driver to follow the direction Margaret had gone.

At Enigma Bar, it was early morning, but the bar was still bustling, filled with men and women indulging in drinks and revelry.

Margaret sat at the bar, several empty bottles in front of her. Her face was flushed, and she swayed unsteadily, her eyes glazed over, clearly drunk.

With her stunning looks, she was the prime target for men looking for a good time.

A drunken man, emboldened, approached Margaret and tried to chat her up. "Miss, why are you drinking alone? Let me keep you company!"

Margaret ignored him, but he persisted, even reaching out to touch her waist.

"Get lost!" Margaret frowned slightly.

The man became more interested. "Well! I like girls with a bit of spirit. Come on, let's get a room. Name your price!"

As he spoke, he reached out to grab Margaret.

"Let go of me!" Margaret frowned deeply, trying to push him away.

The man held on tightly, his lecherous eyes fixed on her breast. "Don't be shy, let me take good care of you."

Before he could finish, a tall man wearing a mask suddenly appeared.

Margaret's face lit up. "Lyle, help me."

Lyle punched the man in the face.

The man fell to the ground, sprawled out.

"Fuck! Who the hell hit me?" Dazed, the man got up, vomiting as he did, and saw Lyle, eyes full of anger, ready to fight. "Fuck, who wears a mask to a bar to pick up chicks?"

But before he could touch Lyle, Lyle kicked him to the ground. "Get lost!"

Margaret watched quietly, the man's vomit filling her nose with its foul stench.

It made her want to throw up.

Margaret covered her mouth and jumped off her seat, heading towards the restroom to vomit.

"Margaret, be careful!" Lyle quickly stopped her, leading her not to the restroom but to the hotel upstairs.

The commotion drew some attention, but soon everyone went back to their drinks, ignoring the drunken man on the floor.

Angel, hiding in a corner, had seen everything.

She took out her phone and recorded Lyle helping Margaret into the elevator.

Angel smirked, her eyes full of satisfaction.

She crused in her head, 'Margaret, that shameless vixen, is indeed despicable. She has just fought with William and now is at the bar seducing Lyle. With this evidence, there is no way Margaret could stay with William.'

Angel's eyes gleamed with malice as she sent the video to William via social media.

Once the elevator doors closed, Margaret's drunken, dazed look instantly cleared, and she distanced herself from Lyle.

"Thanks for earlier." Margaret pursed her lips, calculating that Angel had likely fallen into her trap and recorded her and Lyle entering the elevator.

To make it convincing, she had even called Lyle to help, knowing Angel wouldn't believe it otherwise.

"Margaret, you don't need to thank me. I'll do anything for you." Lyle's deep gaze was fixed on Margaret's face.

Though he didn't understand why Margaret needed him to do this, he would comply with any of her requests.

Margaret felt uncomfortable under his intense gaze and quickly looked away. "Thank you, anyway!"

After sending the message to William, Angel took the elevator to the hotel and asked the front desk for Margaret and Lyle's room number.

William replied: [Where is she?]

A simple response, but Angel could feel William's intense anger through the screen.

She was very pleased with William's anger.

No man could tolerate his fiancée going to a hotel with another man, especially someone as high and mighty as William. He would never tolerate Margaret's betrayal.

Angel's face was filled with uncontrollable joy. She sent William the hotel address and waited in the lobby.

Ten minutes later, she saw William, his face dark and his whole body exuding coldness, striding in.

"William," Angel quickly stood up, sweetly calling his name.

But William didn't even spare her a glance.

A flash of resentment crossed Angel's eyes.

William spoke coldly, "Where is Margaret?"

"I'll take you there," Angel said with a smile.

In the elevator, Angel tried to speak for Margaret, "William, don't be angry when you go in. I'm sure Margaret made a mistake because she was drunk. She didn't mean to. "

"You don't need to speak for her," William cut her off coldly.

This made Angel even happier.

At the room door, Angel looked at the silent William and cautiously asked, "William, are you sure you want to go in?"

"Yes," William replied coldly.

"Alright, no matter what happens, I'll be by your side!" Angel smiled, her face full of admiration for William.

She knocked on the door, and Lyle, wearing a bathrobe, opened it.

Angel was ecstatic. Margaret must be lying in bed inside.

She hadn't expected them to having sex so quickly.

With this, William would definitely be completely disappointed in Margaret.

"William? Why are you here?" Lyle looked at them, confused.

Before William could speak, Angel couldn't wait to say, "I saw you bring Margaret here. Margaret is William's fiancée. How could you do this?"

Lyle, seeing William's cold face, was even more confused. "Margaret? I haven't seen her today. She's not here."
