Chapter 342 Losing Sanity

Thinking this way, Lucy leaned in and kissed William.

The scent of her perfume hit him, and William suddenly snapped awake.

He realized this wasn't Margaret, because she never wore perfume.

William turned his face away, dodging the kiss.

"William, look at me." Seeing William's reaction, Lucy felt a wave of disappointment.

She couldn't let this opportunity slip away. She had to seize it and not fail.

"William, I really like you. I've liked you since I first felt love, for a whole ten years," Lucy said passionately, "You have feelings for me too, don't you?"

Lucy wrapped her arms around William again, pressing herself against him.

"Get away!" William took a deep breath and pushed Lucy away.

At that moment, Peter arrived. He pushed open the lounge door and saw William sitting on the couch, while Lucy was on the floor, having been pushed down.

"Mr. Fisher, are you alright?" Peter quickly understood what had happened when he saw William's restrained expression.

William stood up and looked down at Lucy, who was struggling to get up from the floor. "Since she likes men so much, find a man for her!"

"Yes, Mr. Fisher!" Peter nodded and helped William out.

Peter hadn't expected Lucy to be so bold as to drug William.

The heiress of the Clark Family did such shameless things, truly disgraceful.

"Mr. Fisher, should I take you to the hospital?" Peter carefully helped William into the car and asked.

William frowned. "Take me to Margaret's place."

Peter's tone carried a hint of teasing. "I understand, Mr. Fisher."

Peter gripped the steering wheel tightly and drove towards Margaret's apartment.

Margaret was studying the Parislia design competition when she suddenly received a call from Anthony.

"Ada, I found the person you asked me to investigate." Anthony's loud voice came through the phone.

Margaret asked, "Did you find out where Alden is?"

"Yes, he's in a remote village," Anthony said, staring at his computer, "I'll send you the exact address later. It's a very secluded place."

"Alright, send it to me as soon as possible," Margaret said thoughtfully.

'Alden is really in a remote village. In such a place, could there be a girl better than Juniper?' Margaret couldn't help but thought.

Margaret hung up, and soon Anthony sent the address.

After thinking for a moment, Margaret called Juniper.

Juniper had been feeling down these past few days, wanting to find Alden but not knowing where he was.

Now that Anthony had found the address, it should be easy to find Alden.

"Margaret, do you need something?" Juniper asked weakly.

"Juniper, Anthony found Alden's address," Margaret said seriously.

"Really? Where is he?" Juniper suddenly perked up and asked repeatedly.

"He's in a very remote village." Margaret looked at the address. "The kind where you might not even be able to drive in."

Juniper pressed. "Do you have the exact address?"

"Yes, I'll send it to you right away." Margaret nodded.

"Thank you, I'll book a flight to Maplewood immediately." Juniper couldn't wait to see Alden and ask him for an explanation.

"It's already very late, you can only get a flight for tomorrow." Margaret thought for a moment. "I'll go with you tomorrow."

She didn't feel comfortable letting Juniper go alone. If Alden said anything to hurt Juniper again, she wouldn't let him off.

"Okay." Juniper's mind was in turmoil, wanting to see Alden immediately but having to wait until tomorrow.

Just then, the doorbell rang. Margaret looked through the peephole and saw Peter supporting William at the door.

Margaret quickly opened the door, surprised to see William's flushed face. "William, what's wrong?"

"Mr. Fisher was drugged." Peter helped William inside. "Ms. Scott, I'll leave him to you."

With that, Peter tactfully excused himself, "I have other matters to attend to, Ms. Scott. Please take care of Mr. Fisher."

Margaret remained silent.

"William, how do you feel?" Margaret stepped forward to examine him.

'He is burning up and really has been drugged.' As Margaret was thinking, William suddenly flipped his hand and grabbed her wrist.

A strong force came over her wrist, and Margaret, unprepared, was pressed onto the couch by William.

William was flushed, sweat dripping from his forehead, his eyes filled with desire.

"Calm down." Margaret frowned. Seeing William was in a bad state; she realized the drug was strong.

"Margaret, I want you." Faced with the woman he loved, William felt like he was on fire.

Every cell in his body was screaming to make love to the woman in front of him.

William thought this and acted on it.

He lowered his head and kissed Margaret's enticing red lips.

The burning sensation on her lips made Margaret's breath catch.

William was clearly not satisfied with just a kiss. His hand slipped under Margaret's clothes, caressing her.

Her skin was like snow, soft and delicate, feeling wonderful to the touch.

William's other hand went to unbutton Margaret's clothes.

Margaret's body stiffened, and she pushed William away forcefully. "Stop it!"

Under the influence of the drug, William lost his sanity. His deep, hoarse voice sounded in Margaret's ear. "We're getting engaged soon anyway, Margaret, I want you."

"No, not now!" Margaret refused without hesitation.

She had always believed that intimate thing should be saved for the wedding night.

Now, with William like this, Margaret struggled to grab a nearby water cup and splashed the cold water directly onto William's face.

The cold water on his face made William pause and release Margaret.

Margaret quickly stood up. "William, hold on. I'll help you detoxify, and you'll be fine soon."

Watching Margaret turn to get the medical kit, William's face darkened.

Margaret came back with the medical kit and saw William's unpleasant expression. She thought it was due to the drug and quickly ran over, taking out silver needles.

She skillfully inserted the needles into William's chest. "Bear with it. I'll do some acupuncture to reduce the drug's effects."

"Why not help me by having sex?" William's chest hurt, and he spoke coldly.

Margaret was stunned for a moment.

She thought for a moment and said seriously, "That has to wait until we're married."
