Chapter 335 Lucy is Determined to Win
"You have to come up with a foolproof plan for me. I must get William!" Lucy's face darkened, her eyes flashing with determined resolve.
Grace hesitated for a moment, then cautiously said, "I do have a plan, but it might affect your reputation, Lucy."
"Spit it out!" Lucy urged.
"Have a kid with him," Grace leaned close to Lucy's ear and whispered.
"You mean?" Lucy furrowed her brows slightly.
Grace nodded. "Lucy, as long as you and Mr. Fisher have sex, are you still afraid of those two bitches, Margaret and Angel?"
"But William is so cold to me. How could he possibly have sex me?" Lucy's face darkened a bit more upon hearing this.
Grace smirked. "Of course, you'll need to use some tricks."
Lucy squinted her eyes, deep in thought.
In fact, Lucy had thought of this plan before, but she had always dismissed it.
Lucy always believed that William was just temporarily infatuated with Margaret's beauty, that he was just playing around with her for the novelty.
She, the high and mighty heiress of the Clark Family, had power and looks. How could she be inferior to Margaret in any way?
One day, William would realize her worth and fall in love with her.
But Lucy could never wait for that day, and now the situation was becoming increasingly unfavorable for her.
Several times, she had instigated Ella, Annie, Mia, and others to go after Margaret, but none of them succeeded.
She couldn't wait any longer.
"What do you think I should do?" Lucy asked, seemingly nonchalant, as she toyed with the ring on her finger.
Grace pondered and replied, "In a few days, it's the Clark Family's anniversary celebration. Mr. Fisher should attend. Lucy, this is a great opportunity."
"You're right." Lucy agreed.
"We'll do it cleanly so that Mr. Fisher won't notice," Grace continued to strategize, relieved that Lucy agreed with her plan. "We'll notify the reporters, and all the media will report on the affair with you and Mr. Fisher. Mr. Fisher will have to marry you."
"What if he refuses?" Lucy was still worried.
"How could he?" Grace's eyes darted around. "You two will have that intimate relationship, and he won't have a choice. The Fisher Family is a prestigious family; they wouldn't let their family be shamed, right?"
"Yes." Lucy nodded lightly. "If he refuses, my grandfather won't agree either! Even if the Clark Family isn't as powerful as the Fisher Family, we're still a big family. If he dares to be irresponsible to me, we'll fight to the end!"
"Don't worry, Lucy, you'll definitely succeed," Grace flattered, "Congratulations, the future Mrs. Fisher."
Hearing this, Lucy was overjoyed. She patted Grace's hand. "Don't worry, once I get what I want, I won't treat you badly."
"Thank you, Lucy!" Grace smiled.
Thinking about the upcoming anniversary celebration, a determined smile appeared on Lucy's lips.
Lucy was ready to go all out.
No matter what, she had to become William's woman.
William, this high and mighty man, could only belong to her.
Even if she had to use despicable means, she wouldn't hesitate.
Moreover, she had already thought of a foolproof plan. She planned to drug herself as well. Even if William got angry afterward, she could say she was a victim too, that they were both set up.
She had even found a scapegoat.
Everything was set for the anniversary celebration.
At the Fisher Group, Peter knocked on the door of the CEO's office with a document in hand.
"Come in." William's cold voice sounded.
Peter pushed the door open and entered. "Mr. Fisher, this document needs your signature."
"Okay," William responded indifferently, took the document, flipped through it, and signed his name with a flourish.
"This is an invitation from the Clark Family." Peter took out a red, gold-edged invitation and handed it to William. "The day after tomorrow is the Clark Family's fiftieth anniversary celebration."
"Leave it there and prepare a gift for me," William said calmly.
No matter what, he would give the Clark Family this face.
"Yes, Mr. Fisher," Peter replied respectfully, "If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave."
Peter was about to leave when William's magnetic voice came from behind. "Has Margaret come to work?"
Peter paused and replied, "Ms. Scott took a leave."
"I see. You may go." William frowned slightly.
'Is Margaret still with Juniper?' William thought for a moment, took out his phone, and dialed Margaret's number.
Margaret and Juniper were having breakfast at a nearby diner when her phone rang.
Margaret looked at the caller ID; it was William.
"What's up?" Margaret answered the call, her tone indifferent.
"Can't I call you for no reason?" William's tone was somewhat displeased. "Margaret, don't you miss me?"
Margaret rubbed her forehead. "I'm busy."
Juniper was heartbroken and completely despondent. She had been comforting Juniper all morning to no avail.
William calling now to show off their relationship would only make Juniper feel worse.
Sensing Margaret's perfunctory tone, William's gaze fell on the invitation on the table, and he asked in a deep voice, "The day after tomorrow is the Clark Family's anniversary celebration. Will you go with me?"
"I don't think that's a good idea!" Margaret refused without hesitation.
She had no interest in the Clark Family's anniversary celebration.
Thinking of Lucy, Margaret instinctively smiled. She didn't want to give Lucy another chance to frame her.
"Don't want to accompany me?" William's tone grew colder.
Margaret sensed his displeasure and quickly explained, "Did you forget? We're supposed to be fighting right now. If I go with you to the party, all our previous efforts will in vain."
After a pause, Margaret remembered something. "By the way, I'll be going to the hospital this afternoon to check on Bradley. If everything's fine, he can be discharged. Remember to pick Bradley up and put on a good show."
"A good show?" William frowned.
Margaret smiled. "You know what I mean."
