Chapter 332 Juniper Got Dumped

Margaret went to Bradley's ward and knocked on the door.

"Ms. Scott," James said respectfully as he opened the door.

Margaret stepped inside and walked to the bedside. "Bradley, how are you feeling today?"

"Much better," Bradley replied with a smile upon seeing Margaret.

Margaret examined Bradley again and found that his condition had stabilized significantly, which made her very happy.

"Bradley, in a few more days, you'll be well enough to be discharged," Margaret said with a smile.

Bradley smiled. "That's great!"

Suddenly, he remembered something. "By the way, what's going on with you and William? Why are there so many negative reports about you online, and what's the deal with that Angel?"

"Bradley, don't worry. It's just a minor issue," Margaret said lightly.

Bradley nodded. Since Margaret said so, he didn't want to ask any more questions.

After all, he trusted William's feelings for Margaret.

Bradley had no good feelings toward Angel and believed William could handle the situation.

"Bradley, I'll come to see you again tomorrow," Margaret said as she stood up to leave. Just then, her phone rang.

Margaret took out her phone and saw that it was Juniper calling.

"Juniper, what's up?" Margaret answered the call.

Juniper's voice was very downcast. "Margaret, I just got dumped."

"What?" Margaret was stunned for a moment.

This afternoon, when Juniper came to see her at Starlight Entertainment, everything seemed fine. How could she suddenly be dumped now?

"Alden broke up with me. Margaret, I feel terrible," Juniper said, her voice choked with sobs.

Margaret's heart tightened. "Juniper, where are you?"

"I'm at a bar." Juniper's voice came through the phone.

"I'll come find you. Wait for me," Margaret instructed, hanging upand hurrying to the bar.

At Enigma Bar, Juniper sat at the bar, downing one strong drink after another.

Earlier, she had received a call from Alden.

On the other end, Alden's voice was emotionless and sounded so unfamiliar. "Juniper, let's break up."

Juniper couldn't believe her ears. After a long silence, she asked, "What did you say?"

"We're breaking up," Alden repeated.

"Why?" Juniper's heart sank.

Alden coldly replied, "We're not right for each other."

"Why not?" Juniper pressed.

"No reason." Alden's voice grew even colder and more distant.

"Where are you? I'll come find you. We need to talk this out face to face." Juniper couldn't believe Alden really wanted to break up with her. There had to be a reason.

"Don't come looking for me. I won't see you!" Alden said sternly, "I've fallen in love with someone else."

With that, Alden hung up.

Hearing the dial tone, Juniper felt as if her heart was being torn apart.

She couldn't believe that after five years of being together, he could break up with her over a phone call.

She couldn't believe he could fall in love with someine else. He had once said that she, Juniper, was his one and only love for life.

Memories surged like a tide.

Alden was her senior, tall, handsome, and talented.

They met at a debate competition. Although Juniper lost to Alden, she had been smitten with this talented senior ever since.

She was the one who pursued Alden.

At first, Alden was always cold to her and ignored her advances.

But Juniper was persistent, creating "coincidental" encounters with Alden at various events.

She never thought that she, who had always been a quiet girl, would go so crazy for Alden, would pursue him so relentlessly.

Finally, one day, Alden seriously said to her, "Juniper, I accept your pursuit. Be my girlfriend."

Happiness came so suddenly that Juniper felt like she was in a dream.

From then on, they began their beautiful romance.

Until the eve of graduation, when Juniper brought Alden home, their relationship was met with unanimous opposition from her parents.

The reason was that Alden came from a poor family and was not a good match for Juniper.

This was a huge blow to Alden, and he even went to a remote area to teach as a result.

Juniper, on the other hand, went to Fleurancia for further studies.

Several times when she returned to the country, Juniper wanted to find Alden, but Alden refused to tell her where he was.

He avoided her and didn't want to see her.

Until today, when he broke up with her.

Heartbroken, Juniper shouted to the bartender, "Bring me more drinks!"

Soon, Juniper was completely drunk, her vision starting to blur.

A man with dyed blond hair and a sleazy look, sitting next to Juniper, saw that she was drunk and put his hand on her waist, leering. "Hey Miss, why are you drinking alone? Let me keep you company."

"Get lost!" Juniper pushed the man away with the last bit of her consciousness.

The man laughed lewdly. "Why pretend? Come with me, and I guarantee you'll have a good time tonight."

With that, the man stood up and pulled Juniper up.

Juniper, heavily drunk, swayed and fell into the man's arms.

"Looks like I'm in for a good night." the man leered, his eyes fixed on Juniper's breast, swallowing hungrily.

He supported Juniper and walked towards the bar's exit.

Samuel and a few friends came to the bar to have fun. As soon as they walked in, they bumped into the man.

"Watch where you're going, jerk!" the man cursed.

Samuel frowned and suddenly noticed that the woman the man was holding looked familiar.

He took a closer look and exclaimed, "Juniper?"

But Juniper didn't respond.

Samuel immediately understood that Juniper was drunk, and the man clearly had bad intentions and was trying to take her away.

"Let her go!" Samuel said sternly.

"Mind your own business!" The man glared at Samuel and continued to support Juniper as he walked away.

Samuel took a step forward, blocking his path. "Let her go. Didn't you hear me?"

Samuel's friends also surrounded them. "If you don't let her go, we'll call the cop!"

Seeing that he was outnumbered, the man cursed and shoved Juniper into Samuel's arms. "Take her!"

Samuel quickly caught Juniper and looked down at her. "Juniper, are you okay?"

In her drunken haze, Juniper heard someone calling her.

She struggled to open her eyes and saw a familiar face.

She opened her mouth, but her throat was so dry that she couldn't say a word.

"Juniper, what's wrong?" Samuel asked with concern, "Why did you drink so much?"
