Chapter 333 Missing You, So I Came

Juniper felt extremely uncomfortable, her whole body in turmoil. She leaned against Samuel's chest, crying. "I feel so awful."

"Juniper, you're drunk. I'll take you home. Where are you staying now?" Seeing Juniper in his arms dazed with drunkenness and crying non-stop, Samuel felt an inexplicable pang of heartache. He patted her shoulder to comfort her.

"I don't want to go back. I want to drink more." Juniper, with red-rimmed eyes, staggered back towards the bar.

Samuel quickly grabbed her. "Stop drinking. You're already drunk."

"Leave me alone." Juniper tried to push Samuel away, but she couldn't move him.

When Margaret hurriedly arrived at the bar, she saw Samuel and Juniper in a tug-of-war.

"Ms.Scott, it's good you're here." Samuel breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Margaret. "Juniper is drunk. Please take a look at her."

Margaret quickly stepped forward and supported Juniper. "Are you okay? How did you get so drunk?"

Seeing Margaret, Juniper cried even harder. "Margaret, I'm in so much pain. Tell me, why did Alden break up with me?"

"Juniper, don't be like this. Let me take you home first." Margaret supported Juniper and walked towards the bar's exit.

"Ms. Scott, I'll drive you." Samuel followed them.

"Hey, Samuel, you called us to the bar and now you're leaving?" Samuel's friend grabbed him.

Samuel glared at him. "I have something more important. You guys have fun without me. I'll be back when I'm done."

"Fine. You traitor!" Samuel's friend glanced at Margaret. "Isn't that Mr. Fisher's fiancée? She's been all over the news lately with Mr. Fisher and that Angel. Samuel, are you trying to steal Mr. Fisher's fiancée?"

"Stop talking nonsense. I just admire and respect Ms. Scott, okay?" Samuel said, exasperated.

Ignoring his friend, Samuel caught up with Margaret. "Ms. Scott, wait for me. My car is over there. I'll bring it around."

"Thank you." Margaret smiled.

Soon, Samuel parked the car in front of Margaret and opened the door. "Ms. Scott, get in."

Margaret helped Juniper into Samuel's car.

All the way, Juniper kept crying, "Alden said he fell in love with someone else and broke up with me. We were together for five years. How could he just break up like that?"

"Alright, Juniper, stop thinking about it. We'll talk about it tomorrow." Margaret sighed helplessly, seeing Juniper drunk and heartbroken.

"Ms. Scott, what happened to Juniper?" Samuel, who was driving, vaguely heard Juniper talking about a breakup and asked curiously.

Margaret sighed and replied heavily, "I'm not sure. It seems her boyfriend broke up with her."

Samuel nodded, no wonder Juniper was so sad.

He had never seen a woman so heartbroken over a man before.

In their entertainment circle, breakups were common, and no one took relationships so seriously.

Samuel couldn't help but feel a strange sensation rising in his heart.

Just then, Juniper started to vomit.

"Juniper, what's wrong?" Margaret asked, worried.

Juniper shook her head and vomited all over Samuel's car.

"I'm sorry, Samuel, for dirtying your car," Margaret apologized repeatedly for Juniper.

Through the rearview mirror, Samuel saw Juniper's pale face and felt an inexplicable heartache. "Ms. Scott, it's okay. Juniper looks really unwell. Should we take her to the hospital?"

"No need, she's just drunk." Margaret looked at Juniper, clearly showing symptoms of intoxication.

Samuel dropped Juniper and Margaret off at the hotel. "If you need anything, just call me."

"No need, you can go back. Thank you for tonight." Margaret smiled.

"It's no trouble at all. Ms. Scott, you're my lifesaver. I'm supposed to help you." Samuel said, his gaze lingering on Juniper.

"Thank you," Margaret said, helping Juniper to the room.

"Careful, Juniper." Margaret carefully helped Juniper onto the bed. "Get some rest. We'll talk tomorrow."

Juniper, heartbroken and exhausted, soon fell into a deep sleep.

Margaret sighed softly and sat by the bed, keeping Juniper company.

She picked up her phone and saw many missed calls from William.

Her phone had accidentally been set to silent.

She wondered if William had something important to tell her.

Just as Margaret was about to call William back, his call came in.

Margaret answered, "What's up? Why so many calls? Is something urgent?"

"Where have you been? Why didn't you answer my calls?" William's clear voice came from the other end.

"My phone was accidentally on silent," Margaret explained.

"Where are you? With Lyle?" William's voice had a noticeable hint of jealousy.

He had been trying to reach Margaret all night but couldn't get through.

"What are you talking about? Juniper got drunk, and I just brought her back to the hotel," Margaret said.

"Really?" William's tone was indifferent.

"Of course. Juniper had some issues with her boyfriend, went to the bar to drown her sorrows, got drunk, and almost got taken advantage of. Luckily, Samuel saved her. I've been busy all night and didn't even have dinner," Margaret said, pursing her lips.

But before she could finish, William hung up.

"What the heck." Margaret was speechless.

Margaret hung up and looked down at the sleeping Juniper, feeling heavy-hearted.

She had never met Alden and only occasionally heard Juniper mention him.

Every time Juniper talked to Alden on the phone, she looked like a sweet, slightly sour girl in love.

Margaret was sighing when there was a knock on the door.

She stood up and opened the door, and there stood William, tall and imposing.

"William, what are you doing here?" Margaret asked, surprised.

William stepped in and looked deeply at Margaret. His magnetic voice sounded. "I missed you, so I came."
