Chapter 312 Margaret Kills Bradley

"William, you yelled at me? For this woman?" Daisy was taken aback. After all, she was William's biological mother.

She was the only hostess of the Fisher Family.

Being scolded in front of so many people made her feel humiliated.

"Mom, please leave. Don't disturb Grandpa's rest." William frowned.

Abigail stepped forward and took Daisy's arm, looking obedient and sensible, and persuaded, "William, don't be angry. Aunt Daisy is just worried about Grandpa."

William impatiently interrupted her, "Hurry up and leave!"

Daisy and Abigail exchanged a glance, and Daisy said, "William, then we will go."

As they passed by Margaret, Abigail didn't forget to give her a fierce glare.

Margaret carefully checked Bradley again and then instructed Patterson, "For the next three days, please take extra care of Bradley."

Patterson nodded. "Of course."

As soon as Margaret left the ward, she bumped into Angel.

Margaret looked down and saw that Angel, who had been fine just a moment ago, suddenly had a pale face, covered in cold sweat, and collapsed to the ground.

"William..." Angel's gaze was fixed on William, who was following behind Margaret.

"Are you sick?" William's expression turned cold.

"It's nothing, I'm fine." Angel bit her lower lip in pain, her face ashen, seemingly enduring great pain, her lips even bleeding from being bitten.

She struggled to get up from the ground. "Ms. Scott, William, I won't disturb you anymore."

Watching Angel's departing figure, Margaret seemed thoughtful.

In a flash, three days passed.

Soon it was the day to administer acupuncture to Bradley.

All the board members of the Fisher Group were present, along with Abigail and Daisy, and Angel was also there.

"William, are you really sure you want Margaret to treat Bradley? If anything goes wrong, how will you face your grandfather?" Daisy looked at the well-dressed Margaret entering the operating room, the door closing behind her, feeling very uneasy.

The board members felt the same way.

"Yes, even if you and Margaret are close, how can you be so careless about this?"

William stood calmly and said coldly, "Do you have a better solution?"

These people were probably the ones who most hoped something would happen to Bradley.

Angel stepped forward resolutely and stood beside William, looking at everyone. "Trust William and trust Margaret. She will definitely cure Bradley. Margaret said she is 100% confident, and she is Pryce's apprentice. How could she make a mistake? Don't worry!"

Her words seemed to be reassuring, but in fact, she was deliberately putting Margaret on a pedestal.

William glanced at her without any expression, then closed his eyes, ignoring the people with ulterior motives.

This, however, made some people even more uneasy.

Abigail carefully tugged at Daisy's sleeve and whispered, "Aunt Daisy, if Margaret really succeeds in curing Grandpa, I'm doomed when he wakes up."

"Don't be afraid. We've made foolproof preparations. Don't lose your composure." The more critical the moment, the calmer Daisy became.

Inside the operating room, Margaret wore a mask, revealing only her clear, dark eyes. "Sterilize the No. 3 silver needle and hand it to me."

She was calm and composed, her voice not showing any tension, as she spoke to the nurse beside her.

"Yes." The nurse quickly sterilized the needle and handed it to Margaret, but during the handover, she deliberately rubbed the needle a few times with her gloved hand.

Margaret keenly noticed this but took the needle without showing any reaction and inserted it into Bradley's chest under the nurse's watchful eyes.

"Continue, sterilize the No. 8 silver needle, and then the No. 4 and No. 5 in sequence." Margaret inserted each silver needle, and when she pulled out the needle from Bradley's chest, the needle that had just been inserted into the flesh turned completely black!

In the operating room, besides Margaret and the assisting nurse, there were also Patterson and many authoritative doctors from the medical field.

They were all taking notes, seriously studying Margaret's acupuncture technique.

If Margaret succeeded, it would be a major breakthrough in the medical field!

"The toxins are cleared, start the acupuncture." Margaret was meticulous, but just as she was about to start the acupuncture, the heart monitor suddenly started beeping alarmingly.

Everyone was caught off guard by this scene.

In just a blink of an eye, the lines on the monitor went flat.

"Something's wrong, Bradley has no breath or pulse!"

The nurse assisting Margaret shouted, pointing at Margaret. "This woman is indeed unreliable, Mr. Bradley Fisher was killed by her!"

"Impossible!" Patterson didn't believe Margaret would make a mistake and rushed over with others to start resuscitation.

But it was too late.

"I did everything right, how could this happen!" Margaret panicked, her face pale as she looked at Bradley's lifeless chest on the cold operating table.

Bradley was dead, dead by her hands.

Patterson didn't know what to say.

A doctor ran out of the operating room in a panic.

Outside, as soon as the door opened, everyone looked towards them.

"How is my grandfather?" William asked with concern.

The doctor replied tremblingly, "Mr. Bradley Fisher is dead."

"What?" William looked incredulous.

Patterson also came out at this time, cautiously saying, "I'm sorry, Mr. William Fisher, I don't know why this happened. Everything was fine, then suddenly Mr. Bradley Fisher's heart stopped, and we couldn't save him in time."

Soon, the nurse pushed Bradley out, his face covered with a white cloth.

It was clear to everyone that Bradley was really gone!

The board members looked at each other, then stared at William, waiting for his reaction.

Abigail and Daisy exchanged a look with unclear expressions and also turned their gaze to William.

"William, my condolences. Take care of yourself. Bradley wouldn't want to see you sad. Margaret did her best, she probably didn't expect this to happen. Don't blame her when she comes out," Angel lowered her eyebrows, softly comforting William, her slightly squinted eyes hiding the glee in her gaze.
