Chapter 334 Can't Wait Another Moment
Margaret was taken aback.
He just angry with her, thinking she spent the whole night with Lyle before. Now, not only did he suddenly show up at the hotel, but he also looked deeply affectionate, which left Margaret utterly surprised.
"I brought you dinner, and your favorite donuts. Eat up." William placed the food box on the table. "No matter how busy you are, you can't skip dinner."
William felt heartbroken when he heard Margaret say she had been busy all night and hadn't even had dinner.
Originally, he wanted to personally make a loving dinner for Margaret, but he was afraid she would be too hungry if he took too long.
So, he bought her favorite dinner and donuts.
Hearing this, Margaret felt a warmth in her heart.
William always surprised her in unexpected ways.
She reached out and took a donut. It was as delicious as ever.
"What's wrong with Juniper?" William glanced at the sleeping Juniper and frowned.
Margaret whispered, "Her boyfriend broke up with her, and she's feeling down."
William smiled slightly. In his impression, Juniper was a strong girl.
Margaret briefly explained Juniper and Alden's situation to William.
Finally, she sighed, "Love can be so fragile sometimes. Take Juniper, for example. She held on to this relationship for five years, but in the end, she got hurt so deeply."
"Margaret," Seeing Margaret looking troubled, William reached out his well-defined hand, held her hand, and said seriously, "Don't worry, I will make you the happiest woman in the world. I will never let you down!"
With that, William lowered his head and kissed the alluring red lips of the woman in front of him.
Her lips were as sweet and soft as ever, like jelly, incredibly tempting.
When their lips met, the electric sensation made Margaret shiver all over.
"Don't do this, Juniper might see us." Margaret blushed and tried to push William away.
But William was reluctant to stop. "What are you afraid of? She's asleep anyway."
"Still, what if she wakes up?" Margaret took a deep breath. Although she knew Juniper was unlikely to wake up at this moment, she still felt awkward.
She wasn't used to being intimate with William in front of others.
"Margaret, I really miss you. I don't want to be apart from you for even a moment." William rested his chin on Margaret's forehead. "Let's get engaged as soon as possible!"
Margaret replied, "Once we resolve Angel's situation, it should be about time."
"But I can't wait any longer." William raised an eyebrow.
Margaret smiled. "You don't seem like someone who lacks patience."
She stood up. "Alright, you should go back to the hospital to see Marjorie. Thanks for the dinner."
William's eyes dimmed a bit. 'This woman is so eager to push me to another woman? Even if it is just an act, doesn't she feel even a little jealous?'
Seeing William remain silent, Margaret pushed him out the door.
That night, Margaret sat by Juniper's bedside, keeping her company all night.
The next morning, Juniper woke up with a splitting headache.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Margaret.
"Margaret, why are you here?" Juniper rubbed her temples, looking puzzled.
"You're awake? You got drunk last night, and I brought you back to the hotel," Margaret said with concern.
Thinking about yesterday's events, Juniper's face darkened.
She pursed her lips and said sadly, "Alden called me yesterday and said he wanted to break up."
"Why?" Margaret asked.
"He said he fell in love with another woman." Juniper swallowed hard, her eyes misting over.
She sniffled. "But I don't believe it! He said he would love me forever. How could he suddenly fall in love with someone else? There must be another reason. I need to find him and ask him face to face."
"But do you know where he is?" Margaret asked, frowning.
Juniper shook her head, feeling a bit lost.
"How about this, I'll have Anthony look into it." Seeing Juniper so distraught, Margaret felt a pang of heartache.
Margaret didn't understand why Juniper was so attached to this relationship.
But since dating William, Margaret realized that when you loved someone, you were willing to give everything for them.
Maybe that was what love was—being happy because the one you love was happy, and being sad because they were sad.
"Thank you, Margaret." Juniper felt a bittersweet gratitude.
"Don't worry too much. When you see him, talk it out. If he really fell in love with someone else and cheat on you, it's better to break up now than regret it later," Margaret comforted her.
Juniper nodded thoughtfully.
At the Clark Mansion, Lucy looked at the overwhelming scandal about Margaret online and smiled slightly.
"Lucy, now Margaret's reputation is ruined, and William won't like her anymore," Grace said, trying to please her.
"So what?" Lucy put her phone down heavily. "Even without Margaret, there's still Angel."
Whether it was Margaret or Angel, they were both huge threats to Lucy.
One was William's first love, and the other was his fiancée. Even though the two were at odds now, she couldn't just sit back and benefit.
Lucy couldn't wait any longer; she was eager to have the outstanding William.
But William was so cold and distant towards her, not even sparing her a glance.
Lucy had planned to please Daisy, hoping to win Daisy's favor and get closer to William.
But now, William and Daisy's relationship was strained, and Daisy was reportedly under house arrest by William, so that way was no longer viable.
"Lucy, be patient. Mr. Fisher and Margaret are at odds because of Angel, and Angel has a terminal illness with only a few days left. When the time comes..."
Grace's words were cut off by Lucy's impatience. "How much longer do you want me to wait? If I wait any longer, William will be engaged to someone else! Don't forget Margaret's tricks. Even if she's at odds with William now, she might seduce him again in a few days! And that Angel, who knows if she really has terminal cancer? What if she doesn't die?"
Seeing Lucy's anger, Grace cautiously asked, "Lucy, what do you mean then?"
