Chapter 316 Bradley Is Not Dead

Abigail and Daisy were terrified at the sight, screaming and shrinking into the corner.

"Dad! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to harm you! I'm William's mom, please don't hurt me." Daisy had already dropped the flashlight in fear, covering her eyes tightly, not daring to look at Bradley, who had suddenly sat up from the dead.

Abigail was also trembling with fear, her face pale, cold sweat dripping from her forehead. "Grandpa? I didn't mean to harm you. If you want to blame someone, blame that bitch Margaret. It's all because of her that we ended up like this."

"So it was you two who poisoned me and framed Margaret, and now you want to steal my body to destroy the evidence?" Bradley, sitting on the iron bed, suddenly spoke in a ghostly tone.

Daisy and Abigail exchanged a glance, already in a panic, and could only nod.

"We were forced to, Grandpa. We didn't mean to poison you." Abigail bit her lip. If it weren't for the urgency, fearing that William would have someone discover Bradley's body the next day, she wouldn't have been so desperate to steal the body at this time.

"Forced?" Bradley sneered. "One of you is William's mother, and the other is his cousin. Who could force you? Abigail, you speak so well!"

Abigail was stunned, realizing that Bradley would never call her by her name directly.

She suddenly thought of something.

Therefore, Abigail, burning with anger and forgetting her fear, stood up and pointed at the "Bradley" in front of her, questioning sharply, "You're not Grandpa at all, who are you?"

"Abigail, what are you talking about?" Daisy, squatting on the ground, was stunned by her question.

Abigail turned to help her up. "Aunt Daisy, don't be afraid. This person is not Grandpa at all, just someone pretending to be a ghost!"

"What?" Daisy was still in a state of shock.

Abigail sneered, looking at the "Bradley" on the iron bed. "What? Still pretending. Who are you? What are you trying to do by pretending to be a ghost here?"

"I didn't expect to be discovered so quickly." The originally old and cold voice of "Bradley" suddenly turned soft, becoming a charming female voice.

And this voice was Margaret's.

"Bradley" agilely jumped off the iron bed, lifted the white cloth, and revealed Margaret's face by peeling off a mask.

Abigail's eyes were full of venom. "Margaret, it's really you!"

"Margaret?" Daisy's eyes widened, "Weren't you taken away by the cop?"

She had someone take care of Margaret, who was locked up, and they had told her that Margaret had been beaten up.

Seeing her standing here without a scratch, Daisy and Abigail simultaneously thought of a possibility, their eyes widening in fear!

The originally dark morgue suddenly lit up.

The blinding light made Abigail and Daisy squint instinctively, and they saw William pushing Bradley, who was in a wheelchair, through the door.

Abigail and Daisy exchanged a glance, seeing panic in each other's eyes.

They hurried over, pretending to be overjoyed.

"Dad."

"Grandpa!"

They spoke in unison, "We knew you wouldn't be in trouble. We didn't believe it, so we come here to check, and it turns out to be true."

Bradley sneered, pushing away their hands from his legs. "You two don't need to pretend in front of me. I have heard everything you said just now. If it weren't for Margaret's idea of faking my death, I wouldn't have known that it was you two who were poisoning me!"

His eyes were full of disappointment and sadness.

Daisy and Abigail, no matter how much he disliked them, were still his family.

He thought that he had never wronged these two, but they repaid him with the greatest malice!

"Grandpa, it's not like that, it's all Margaret's fault!" Abigail tried to explain, but only she knew how weak her explanation was at this moment.

And Daisy directly collapsed to the ground, powerless.

No matter how much they calculated, they never expected that Margaret and William had set such a trap, just waiting for them to fall into it.

Their actions just now had clearly shown that they were the murderers.

Margaret looked at Abigail still arguing, even trying to put all the blame on her, and walked over calmly, looking at them with disdain.

"Abigail, you say it's all my fault? Did I force you to poison Bradley? Did I force you and Daisy to steal Bradley's body? If it weren't for your selfishness, how would you have ended up like this?" Margaret questioned coldly.

Abigail bit her bloodless lip, unable to say a word.

"Mom, you really disappoint me." William's handsome face was tense, his expression full of coldness.

"I'm sorry, William, I was wrong. Please don't call the cop. I don't want to go to jail. If I go to jail, Abigail and my lives will be ruined!" Daisy crawled over, hugging William's leg tightly and crying.

"If you knew this would be the result, why did you do it in the first place?" William pushed Daisy away, his tone icy.

He turned his head away, ignoring Daisy's heart-wrenching cries, and said coldly, "From now on, Grandpa is my only family, no one else."

"William!" Daisy collapsed to the ground, her face ashen. She knew William was serious.

He really wanted to sever their mother-son relationship!

Abigail, hearing this, didn't dare to say a word.

If William treated Daisy like this, her fate as a cousin with no blood relation would be even worse!

"Take them away!" William's cold eyes were full of disappointment. Not wanting to waste any more words, he waved his hand, and a group of bodyguards came in to drag them away.

Margaret looked at William with concern, her red lips moving, but in the end, she said nothing and followed him as he pushed Bradley out.

The morgue returned to its cold silence.

In the dark corner of the corridor, a pair of bright eyes watched everything, and Angel shivered with fear.
