Austin explained that Susanna was learning computer technology from Arthur.
Austin: [It seems Susanna is making rapid progress!]
Aviana: [Why did Susanna hack into the branch's system for no reason? Did she discover something?]
Edward explained the whole story.
Justin cursed in the group: [That bitch Erica dared to plot against Susanna. Edward, how do you plan to solve this? If Susanna finds out in the future, how will you explain it?]
Edward replied: [I know, give me a week to handle Erica's matter.]
Austin: [Susanna plans to move back to Novaria with us after finishing her studies in a few months. Edward, you need to deal with Erica's issue quickly.]
By then, even if Edward knew Susanna was pregnant, he wouldn't be able to get mad at Austin and Susanna because of Erica's matter.
Austin thought it was best to keep it from Edward for now, as Edward could get so angry that he might even hit him.

When she got home, Madison happily grabbed her hand, remarking, "Susanna, I have got the money."

Madison suddenly stopped and said, "Susanna, I've been thinking about Edward's suggestion to move back to Novaria. I've decided to take Vincent and go with you to Novaria."
"Really?"
Susanna had always worried that Madison wouldn't want to leave for another unfamiliar place.
If Madison didn't go to Novaria, Susanna couldn't stay there permanently. After all, Madison had raised her, and she couldn't abandon him after finding her family.
"Of course, it's true, but before I leave, I want to say goodbye to my family. I might not come back often in the future," said Madison.
"That's fine, but you can still come back for Christmas."
Susanna felt much better after hearing Madison agree.
It seemed she could start planning her move from Lindwell.
The next day, Susanna went to work at Epic Horizon, where she usually worked weekends.
Not long after she arrived at the office, Dick walked in. "Susanna, you're here today, too?"
"Dick, did you get discharged so soon?"
Susanna didn't expect to see Dick there, thinking he would stay in hospital for a few more days.
Dick said with a smile, "The doctor confirmed that they are just superficial wounds, and I only require some rest. I can't afford to lounge around in the hospital when Epic Horizon needs me."
"Dick, you still need to rest. Your injuries haven't completely healed yet," Susanna reminded him gently.
"My mom has been taking care of me these days. With her around, I'll be fine."
Susanna remembered meeting Dick's mother in the hospital. Thankfully, it was only once; she really couldn't handle more.
At noon, Dick came to Susanna. "Susanna, let's have lunch together."
"Sure. Dick, it's on me. You got hurt saving me, and I haven't properly thanked you."
"Thanking me is simple. Just marry me," he quipped with a grin.
Susanna's expression was a bit awkward. The next second, Dick said, "Just kidding. Don't take it seriously. Let's go eat."
At that moment, a middle-aged woman approached and said, "Dick, are you done with work? I brought you some chicken soup to nourish you."
"Mom, why are you here? Didn't I say I wouldn't be home for lunch?"
Dick frowned. He knew Susanna was working at Epic Horizon today and had planned to ask her out for lunch.
He didn't expect his mom to show up with chicken soup, ruining his plan.
"Dick, I was worried you wouldn't eat well at the office, so I brought the soup. Mrs. Miller is here too; you can eat together."
Susanna forced an awkward smile. "Aunt Harper, have you had lunch? If not, let's go out to eat together."
"I haven't eaten yet. I was planning to take the soup home. Why don't you take the soup and go out to eat? If I join, you might feel uncomfortable," Harper replied.
"Aunt Harper, how could having lunch together be uncomfortable? If you go home now, it'll take more time. Let's just eat out together."
Susanna couldn't let Harper go home for lunch at this point.
Dick was a bit helpless. "Let's go. I know a good restaurant, though it's a bit far. We don't have much to do this afternoon, so let's go there."
His carefully planned date was disrupted by his mom.
When they got in the car, Dick instinctively opened the passenger door for Susanna. She paused and looked at Dick's mother, "Aunt Harper, please sit in the front."
"Susanna, you're so considerate. I get car sick and can only sit in the front."
Though Harper said this, she smoothly got into the passenger seat.
Susanna sat in the back, not intending to compete with Harper for the front seat.
"Mrs. Miller, I didn't expect you to work overtime at Epic Horizon on weekends. There aren't many hardworking young women like you. Nowadays, young people don't like working overtime. Dick's startup is tough; he pays them, but they sometimes don't want to work extra hours," Harper stated.
Dick was a bit helpless, uttering, "Mom, stop talking about this."
Susanna could only show an awkward but polite smile.
"Mrs. Miller, Dick is usually busy with work. His doctor said he needs more observation. After I leave, please do me a favor. keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't overwork."
"Harper, I'll make sure Dick recovers well," Susanna assured.
"Then I'm relieved. Mrs. Miller, I'll start calling you Susanna from now on. It sounds less formal."
Susanna smiled and nodded in agreement. Soon, they arrived at the restaurant.
As they got out of the car, Harper took Susanna's arm. "Susanna, you're so beautiful and capable. If we become family in the future, with Dick around, you'll have a bright future."
Susanna's expression stiffened. At that moment, she looked up and met a pair of deep, narrow eyes, and her heart started racing—it was him!
