Chapter 543 Who Doesn't Know How to Play the Victim?

Aaron dodged like he was avoiding something gross.

Vivian's face went stiff. "Aaron, I know you're still mad at me."

Aaron frowned. "I don't get mad at people who don't matter."

Even if Vivian wanted to get closer to Aaron now, she didn't dare say a word.

Susanna watched them, surprised. Aaron was acting weird today.

Then Aaron turned to her, asking, "Susanna, why didn't you reply to my message?"

His tone had a hint of hurt, totally different from his earlier cold self.

Susanna looked a bit awkward. "I probably missed it."

She had purposely ignored it.

Aaron's voice softened. "Are you still mad?"

Susanna smirked. "I don't get mad at people who don't matter."

Aaron felt a sudden sting in his chest.

Amelia laughed loudly. "This is something to envy, same person, but different treatment."

She was clearly aiming at Vivian.

After all, Aaron had just said the same thing.

Vivian was so mad she clenched her dress tightly. Amelia, that witch, was taking the chance to mock her.

When she inherited the Richardson Family's fortune, she'd definitely teach Amelia a lesson since her son Ramond was the rightful heir.

Elaine couldn't resist adding fuel to the fire. "That's right. When she shamelessly stayed with our Abbott Family, she was always so humble. But now, with a bit of status, she looks down on everyone. No matter what she becomes, it won't change her nature. Aaron will never like a woman like her."

Vivian was about to explode with anger.

She didn't dare say anything to Amelia, but she had no patience for Elaine. "Ms. Abbott, when I stayed with your family, I worked like a dog for you for so many years. Even if I didn't achieve anything, I worked hard. Now that I've finally found a loving family, you don't have to talk about me like that. In Lindwell, everyone knows you're a loser, who grew up relying on the Abbott Family. Recently, you're in trouble for selling fake goods and lost a lot of money."

Elaine snapped, "Who are you calling a loser? Say it again if you dare!"

Elaine was furious because she came to this party for a blind date.

Now that Vivian had exposed her, how could she still mingle in Novaria and marry into a wealthy family?

Vivian's eyes gleamed with sarcasm. "Did I say anything false? If you don't believe me, you can check your phones. It's all over in entertainment headlines."

Elaine saw that people were indeed searching, including someone from a wealthy family she had just met.

In a fit of rage, Elaine grabbed Vivian's hair and slapped her twice. "You bitch, who told you to say those things?"

Vivian yelled, "Elaine, you crazy woman, let go of me!"

"Vivian, who gave you the guts? When you were with the Abbott Family, you were always so submissive. Now you think you can talk to me like this? You're not qualified."

Vivian couldn't take the humiliation anymore and fought back. "Do you think you're any better? Everyone in Lindwell knows you're a joke. You couldn't make it there, so you came here. Now that I've exposed you, you're angry?"

Elaine shouted, "Who's angry? I just want to teach you a lesson so you don't talk nonsense."

"Who's the bitch? I think you're the real bitch."

They grabbed each other's hair and started fighting.

Susanna, seeing this, covered her head. It was never-ending. They had just cursed each other, and now they were fighting.

The scene became quite awkward.

Maud was furious, shouting, "Elaine, stop it! Stop it! Do you hear me?"

She thought about her plan for today. Everything was going well until Elaine started fighting, ruining everything.

But Elaine was too enraged to listen, determined to teach Vivian a lesson.

Amelia couldn't help but clap and cheer.

But noticing Owen's displeased expression, she quickly stopped smiling and pretended to intervene. "Vivian, stop fighting. It's not good to fight here."

Vivian, who was publicly beaten and humiliated by Elaine, couldn't swallow her anger. Since they were already fighting, stopping now would be a loss.

If they were going to fight, they should fight to the end.

Amelia tried to intervene, but Vivian elbowed her in the stomach.

Amelia quickly retreated, clutching her stomach. Owen rushed over. "Are you okay?"

Amelia took a deep breath, her face pale, clutching her stomach and said sensibly, "I'm fine. Vivian didn't mean it. I just wanted to stop the fight, but Vivian wouldn't listen."

Seeing Owen's expression darken, she lowered her head, a hint of satisfaction on her face.

She had deliberately gotten close to get hit by Vivian.

Who wouldn't play the victim?

She had just never stooped to such tactics in front of her family. But since Vivian was so unscrupulous, as Susanna said, fight fire with fire.

"Don't go over there again, in case you get hurt."

Owen, looking grim, grabbed Vivian's arm and shouted, "Stop! How long are you going to keep this up? Aren't you embarrassed enough? If I had known, I wouldn't have brought you to this party!"

Vivian, unwilling to back down, said, "But she started it. Why can't I fight back?"

Owen slapped her.
