Chapter 289 Extremely Jealous

The store manager's late words stunned Lvy and Sienna.

Lvy's voice shot up, "What? You said Susanna's a super VIP? No way! She's an orphan, got booted by the Abbott family. How could she have a super VIP card? It's gotta be fake!"

Susanna turned to the store manager. "Is my card fake?"

The store manager quickly shook his head, "Nope, it's legit."

Lvy kept going, "I bet Susanna swiped that card from the Abbott family."

"Lvy, you're right, that card has to be the Abbott family's," Sienna jumped in.

Susanna decided she was done with their nonsense. She looked straight at the store manager and said, "Get them out of here. I don't want them messing up my shopping vibe and bringing down the store's rep."

The store manager nodded, "Got it."

He walked over to Lvy and Sienna, his face serious, "We need to take care of our super VIP. You need to leave."

"Her card's stolen, she's just a thief. I'll call the Abbott family, and Susanna will be busted," Sienna insisted.

The store manager smirked, "This super VIP card isn't the Abbott family's. You're wrong."

"What? Not the Abbott family's? No way!"

Flandre sneered, "This card was given to Susanna by her own family!"

"Susanna's an orphan, and Andrew's family is broke. How could they afford this card?" Sienna argued.

"Yeah, no way it's from her family. This card's origin is a mystery," Lvy added.

Susanna chuckled, "Looks like Maud and Elaine haven't spilled the beans yet."

Flandre stepped in, "Susanna was an orphan, but now she's the heir to a rich family. After being lost because of a mean nanny, her family found her and spoils her. A membership card means nothing to her now."

Lvy was floored. "No way, that can't be true!"

The store manager had already called security, and they kicked Lvy and Sienna out while they were still in shock.

Lvy and Sienna exchanged looks, not believing—or not wanting to believe—that Susanna was now the lost heir of a wealthy family.

Lvy thought about the super VIP card, feeling super jealous. "Mom, do you buy what Susanna said?"

"I can't believe it. If Susanna's really the lost heir of a rich family, why did the Abbott family kick her out? This card must've been given to her by some guy, and she's just covering it up," Sienna analyzed.

"Mom, I think the same. Isn't Mrs. Maria Abbott throwing a party this weekend? We can go and expose Susanna in front of her."

Lvy and Sienna nodded, jealousy burning as they saw DivineDynasty catering only to Susanna.

Back in the store.

After Susanna told Flandre who Lvy and Sienna were, Flandre laughed, "They got busted for buying fake stuff and were kicked out by Mrs. Maria Abbott, yet they still act all high and mighty."

"To them, I'm just a powerless orphan," Susanna said.

Flandre sighed, "Susanna, after seeing how Lvy and Sienna act, I can only imagine the crap you dealt with at the Abbott family. This party is your chance to show them who's boss."

Susanna grinned. She didn't expect Maud and Elaine to keep everything hush-hush, but she wasn't sweating it.

"By the way, Susanna, since that last school event, Erica got taken away, right? What's the deal now, and how are your brothers handling it?" Flandre asked.

"Erica pulled that knife stunt on purpose and hurt Aaron. The Abbott family is definitely pressing charges. My brothers want Erica to stay in Lindwell, and not go back to Novaria." Susanna said coolly.

"Good, so Erica won't go back to the Jones family and come after you again."

Susanna thought about how awesome her brothers were to her, and figured Erica wouldn't stand a chance anymore.

With her amnesia blurring the memories of Erica's betrayal, the past was a fog. But now, with her new family around her, she felt a sense of belonging like never before.

The clothes Susanna was trying on were all picked out by Aviana. She also had Juliette help Flandre pick out some outfits to try on.

Flandre exclaimed, "Wow, these expensive clothes really do feel different. The material and fit are so much better."

When Susanna was checking out, she had Juliette pack up all the clothes Flandre had tried on.

Flandre was surprised. "Susanna, you didn't try these on!"

"Because they're for you."

Susanna handed the bag to Flandre, her voice soft but sincere. "When I was an orphan, you treated me like family. For the past three years, you kept in touch, even though I didn't tell you much. You still cared and stayed by my side. To me, you're family too."

Flandre took the branded bag, a hint of emotion in her eyes. "So, this is your way of winning me over, huh? Well, if this is the start, I expect plenty of good food and drinks in the future!"

Susanna hugged Flandre. "I will."

After all, if she went to Novaria, she wouldn't have much time to come back to Lindwell.

Susanna and Flandre decided to grab a bite at a fancy restaurant that required a membership card to get in. With their new purchases in tow, they strolled in, looking all content and satisfied.

Flandre held her arm and said, "Susanna, is this the famous high-end restaurant? I never thought I'd get to eat here."

"First time for me too. Edward reserved a private room, so no need for a membership card," Susanna replied.

"Susanna, I wish I had a brother like that too, but you have six! I'm so jealous."

As Susanna and Flandre walked into the elevator, they saw a strikingly attractive couple entering through the main entrance, and Susanna's smile froze.

Flandre immediately exclaimed, "Isn't that Aaron?"

But Susanna's eyes were locked on the woman next to him. It was her!
