Chapter 317 Who Are You?

"Who the hell are you?!" Vivian yelled.

Susanna glanced at the woman in the bathroom, shrugged, and walked out.

As she stepped out, she saw Aaron and Sam looking confused. "Lillian's not in there, but there's some chick taking a shower," she told them.

Sam stopped, his face twisted in confusion. "That makes no sense. Lillian was here when we left."

Aaron's face darkened. "Call the bodyguard."

But Lillian and the bodyguard were MIA.

Tyler quickly dialed the bodyguard's number, but got nothing. Sweat started to bead on his forehead. "No one's answering."

Aaron's expression turned icy. "How is that even possible? Keep calling!"

Susanna grabbed Sam by the collar, her eyes blazing. "If anything happens to Lillian, I swear..."

"I get it, but right now, we need to find her," Sam cut in, serious.

He turned to Vivian, who was coming out of the bedroom. "Where's Lillian? Weren't you supposed to watch her? Where is she?"

He was starting to think this woman just looked like Susanna but wasn't her at all. The old Susanna was sweet, but this one? Scary as hell.

Sam shot Aaron a desperate look, like, 'Help me out here, man! I got nothing to do with this Nova.'

Aaron ignored him and focused on Vivian, wanting to know where the kid went.

Vivian, in a skimpy nightgown, came out looking all pitiful, her eyes red and puffy, with marks on her body. In a whiny voice, she said, "Lillian went out with the bodyguard."

Susanna's brow furrowed. "Where'd they go?"

Aaron's lips barely moved. "Probably the amusement park."

Susanna let out a breath.

Vivian, looking all hurt, said, "Aaron, I tried to talk to Lillian, but she was a little terror. She sprayed pepper spray in my eyes, shot me with a toy gun, and even threw mouse traps on the floor. I can't believe a four-year-old could do that!"

Sam nodded, remembering how Lillian had pranked him with a cake yesterday. At least it wasn't pepper spray!

Susanna burst out laughing. "What? Never seen a kid with a genius IQ?"

Vivian glared at Susanna, holding back her anger. "I've never seen such a brat. How did her family raise her to be so rude?"

"Say that again?" Susanna's face turned cold as she stepped closer to Vivian. "Lillian is always polite and never attacks without a reason. What did you do to her?"

It was obvious Vivian had a thing for Aaron. But messing with Lillian? No way.

Vivian backed up, guilt flashing in her eyes. "What are you talking about? I didn't do anything to Lillian. The bodyguard was there the whole time. Lillian just lost it and started attacking. Who knows what she'll be like when she grows up! Ouch!"

Susanna grabbed Vivian's hair and yanked her close, her red lips curling into a cold smile. "Talking trash about a sweet kid like that? Your mouth must taste like garbage."

Vivian, already feeling crappy after Lillian's pranks, now had her hair pulled. She remembered getting slapped in the lobby yesterday and instinctively shielded her face, not wanting a repeat.

Seeing Vivian so scared, Susanna laughed. "Weren't you all high and mighty a second ago? Scared now, huh?"

Vivian gritted her teeth and looked at Aaron, calling out, "Aaron."

Ignoring her, Susanna stormed out, dead set on finding Lillian at the amusement park.

Once alone, Vivian turned to Aaron, looking all upset. "Aaron, that woman is unbearable. I've never dealt with a wild kid like Lillian before."

Sam touched his nose and chimed in, "Lillian is a handful, no doubt. But you were supposed to watch her, not start a fight."

Vivian was confused. She had just asked a few questions about Lillian's mom. How was that a fight? But the worst part? Lillian really was Susanna's kid.

Vivian looked at Aaron and hesitantly asked, "Aaron, was that woman really Susanna?"

Aaron, hearing this, answered with a blank expression, "Don't ask questions you shouldn't."

He turned and left the room. The bodyguard's phone was still not answering; he needed to figure out what was going on.

Seeing Aaron leave, Sam immediately spoke up, "Aaron, where are you going? Wait for me."

"Sam!" Vivian was a bit anxious. Was Aaron going to the amusement park?

Sam stopped at the door and looked back at her. "Vivian, you should change your clothes. If you're feeling unwell, maybe you should see a doctor."

After saying that, Sam also left, showing no intention of staying to accompany her to the doctor.

Vivian glared at the closed door, feeling a surge of anger. She had specifically taken that shower in anticipation of confronting Aaron upon his return. But what caught her off guard was Susanna coming back with him!

The mere thought of that woman's face, so reminiscent of Susanna's, made Vivian's eyelid twitch with a sense of foreboding.

Meanwhile, she dialed her contact's number. "Any updates on the woman from yesterday?" Vivian inquired.

"No."

"Didn't you say you had connections at the Radiant Valley Hotel? How can you not find anything?" Vivian was actually angry.

"We usually uncover details, but this woman is an enigma. Any slip-up could jeopardize our cover, so we need to proceed with caution," explained the contact on the other end of the line. "It's going to take some time."

Vivian hung up in frustration. The woman's mystery gnawed at her. Touching her tender scalp, she grimaced. This wasn't something she'd let go easily.

At the bustling amusement park, Susanna raced through the crowds, scanning the sea of playful children. Despite the vibrant atmosphere, Lillian was nowhere to be seen.

Soon, Aaron caught up. "Did you find her?"

"No, can you reach the bodyguard?"

Aaron's lips tightened as he answered, "The phone is still not answering."

Susanna was almost frantic. Where on earth had Lillian gone?
