Chapter 400 Killing You Would Be Too Easy

Next to her, Maud saw a bloodstain pop up on Vivian's face and freaked out. She never thought Nova would actually go for it!

So much blood, it was just nuts.

Vivian saw Maud's horrified look and felt something warm on her own face.

But her hands and feet were tied, so she couldn't check what was up with her face. Soon, Vivian saw blood dripping onto the carpet.

'Why is there so much blood?'

Vivian's face went ghostly white, and she yelled at Susanna, "How dare you mess up my face? Do you think I won't have someone destroy that bone marrow sample, so you'll never get it in this lifetime? Your daughter will end up dying in that vacuum chamber!"

Susanna didn't even flinch.

Her eyes got even colder, and she pressed the broken glass against the other side of Vivian's face, her voice like ice. "Then you can die first."

Vivian clammed up in fear, not daring to say another word.

Susanna's eyes were ice-cold as she said calmly, "Go on. Weren't you all chatty just now?"

Vivian gritted her teeth and said, "If you got the guts, kill me."

"You think I won't? Letting you die would be too easy."

"Ms. Ramirez, don't think that just because you pretend to be Ms. Jones from some rich family, everyone will buy it. You're just a gold digger from Novaria. You think looking like Aaron's ex-wife gives you any edge? Let me tell you, Aaron's ex-wife got booted by the Abbott family, and Aaron never liked her!"

Susanna's lips curled into a cold smile. "You think I care about anything related to the Abbott family? After I divorced Aaron, I never thought about getting back with him. As Ms. Jones, I have everything I want. Only a fool would marry into the Abbott family!"

Maud, listening to the convo, felt confused and shocked. She looked at Susanna and said, "What do you mean by that? What's your deal with Susanna?"

Maud had always been a bit suspicious. How could there be people in this world who look exactly alike?

Could Nova really be Susanna?

Susanna turned to Maud and said, "Don't you recognize me? I am Susanna, but now I've changed my name. I go by Jones now, not Millier.."

Maud's face changed dramatically. "You're not dead?"

"Yeah, I'm not dead. You seem pretty bummed about it."

Maud felt a bit guilty and didn't say anything. If Nova really was Susanna, it wouldn't be smart to piss her off.

But Vivian, on the other hand, looked incredulous and said, "No way! You just look a lot like Susanna. You're not her. Stop faking it!"

Susanna slapped Vivian on the other side of her face.

Her voice was ice-cold. "Seems like you can't handle that I'm Susanna, knowing I'm the heir to the wealthy Jones family, knowing you'll never match my status, so you're scared?"

Vivian's face went dark. "I don't buy it. You're lying. You can't be Susanna!"

"Enough chit-chat. I'll ask you one last time, where's the bone marrow?"

"Aren't you claiming to be the big shot heir to the Jones family? So capable, find it yourself."

Susanna grabbed Vivian by the neck. "I'll count to three. If you don't spill, your face is toast."

Vivian shot back coldly, "You wouldn't dare!"

Susanna calmly said, "Three, two."

At the last second, Maud couldn't hold back and shouted, "I know where the bone marrow is. Don't hurt her."

Susanna shot a cold look at Maud. "Smart move. Hand over the bone marrow, and I'll let you walk out of here today."

Just today!

As Maud was about to speak, a group of people suddenly burst through the villa's door.

Aaron walked in first, heading straight to the dining room. Seeing the scene inside, his face changed slightly!

He didn't expect Susanna to act so fast.

Vivian's eyes lit up with hope. "Aaron, you're finally here."

"Aaron, you're finally here. If you had been a moment later, she would've killed me."

Maud and Vivian looked at Aaron like he was their savior.

But Susanna stepped forward to block Aaron's path.

She looked up at Aaron, her eyes blazing with anger. "I haven't found out where the bone marrow is yet. You better not come any closer."

Susanna was in a foul mood. If Aaron hadn't shown up just now, Maud would have already spilled the location of the bone marrow.

Aaron didn't expect her to get the info faster than he did.

It seemed she had long suspected Vivian but deliberately didn't tell him, finding this place first.

Aaron had no choice but to look at Maud. "Mom, tell me where the bone marrow is."

Maud, feeling justified, said, "Aaron, get me out of here first. Look at what Susanna did to my hands. Someone like her doesn't deserve to marry into the Abbott family. You give her your bone marrow, and this is how she treats me?"

Vivian chimed in, "Aaron, she's only after the bone marrow. She doesn't truly care about you. You've been played."

"Yeah, Aaron, she was like a psycho earlier. Luckily, Vivian protected me. Look at what she did to Vivian; she's messed up."

Vivian immediately started crying. "Aunt Maud, it's my duty to protect you."

Susanna stood silently by, waiting to see what Aaron would do. No matter what, she was determined to find out the whereabouts of the bone marrow today, even if it meant a showdown.

Aaron frowned and said, "Mom, tell me where the bone marrow is."

Ignoring his words, Maud said, "Get me out of here first, and then I'll tell you where the bone marrow is. It's my bargaining chip! If she doesn't apologize and pay for what she's done, she's not getting it."

With Aaron's support, Maud suddenly felt more confident.

At this moment, Susanna blocked Aaron. "I warn you, don't take another step, or I don't know what my bodyguards will do to your mother."
