Chapter 310 Susanna, Is That You?

Aaron met Connor and directly demanded, "Sell me the special medicine."

"You'll have to wait for the auction, Mr. Abbott," said Connor.

Aaron narrowed his eyes slightly. "What are the conditions?"

"Mr. Abbott, it's not about conditions."

Sam continued, "In this world, everything has a price. Radiant Valley thrives on deals. Will you pass up this opportunity?"

Connor looked troubled. "The main issue is that the special medicine isn't Radiant Valley's product; it's privately auctioned. That's why it's not in the auction catalog."

Aaron spoke up, "Give me the contact information."

"Mr. Abbott, you should know Radiant Valley's rules. We don't disclose client information." Connor was in a dilemma.

Aaron raised his gaze to meet Connor's, a hint of intensity in his expression as his lips parted slightly. "Today, your sister deliberately kidnapped a little girl. How are you going to explain that to me?"

Connor immediately felt guilty. "Mr. Abbott, I know this is a misunderstanding. Our people would never kidnap a child, especially not with a child brought here by you," he explained earnestly.

"It's not a child I brought, to be precise, it's my good friend's daughter. Your hotel needs to give us an explanation for this." Aaron's expression was calm, but his tone carried a hint of menace.

Sam was surprised and spoke up, "The child was kidnapped by the hotel staff? Aaron, are you joking?"

"I wouldn't joke about something like this," Aaron stated firmly.

Sam cast a piercing gaze at Connor. "Is this your doing? Kidnapping my child? Do you have an issue with me?" His tone laced with accusation and disbelief.

Regardless of whether Lillian was his child, the fact that someone mentioned his name at the hotel and was maliciously kidnapped by the staff was a sign of disrespect.

Connor, a sense of guilt weighing on him, took a sip of water and tried to explain, "Mr. Clark, this is really a misunderstanding. We have no conflict with you, and no reason to kidnap Lillian. Don't you agree?"

Aaron's tone was calm. "Your sister fancies Sam. They say there's no man she can't charm. She probably heard the kid asking for Sam, so the hotel staff hid the child."

Sam scrunched up his face. "Going after a kid is really low. It's pretty messed up to be in your sister's crosshairs."Feeling cornered, Connor flashed a strained smile. "I apologize sincerely. My sister can be quite hot-headed. How about this, Mr. Abbott? When the special medication goes up for auction, I'll ensure you have your shot at it. What do you say?"

Sam casually said, "Can't you sell it to us now?"

"Nope. It's a private seller's item, and I don't have the authority to touch it," said Connor.

Aaron coldly demanded, "The seller's contact information."

Connor finally relented and handed over the contact information. "Just don't mention me."

With the contact details secured, Aaron exited the room and tasked Tyler with reaching out to the seller. Yet, much to their dismay, the seller rebuffed any notions of a private transaction, sticking adamantly to the Radiant Valley auction route.

Sam let out a exasperated sigh. "Is this seller out of their mind? They won't budge on a decent offer. We're not planning to shortchange them here."

Tyler spoke up, "It seems the only option left is to bid."

The special medicine was the only chance for Maria to wake up. Aaron's expression was grim, and he said coldly, "I won't give up."

"Aaron, since we have some time, why not go to the basement and play a few rounds? You've been buried in work for years. How about relaxing a bit? I heard Radiant Valley invited a gambling king. You could even compete with him," Sam suggested.

Aaron thought of Lillian in the room and directly refused, "No."

They took the elevator down and had to pass through the lobby to get to the other side of the accommodation area. Outside the lobby, it was still pouring rain.

"Aaron."

At that moment, Vivian stood at the entrance with her suitcase, drenched from head to toe, her figure outlined by the rain, attracting the attention of many men around.

As they walked to the entrance, Aaron frowned. "Why are you here?" he questioned.

"I heard the special medicine was being auctioned at Radiant Valley, so I rushed over. The heavy rain closed the airport, so I had to pay a high price to convince a fisherman to bring me here. I didn't expect to run into you!" Vivian looked up at Aaron with a hopeful expression, but his face remained impassive.

Sam immediately took off his suit jacket and draped it over Vivian's shoulders. "Vivian, that was too risky. What if the fisherman had bad intentions? This is Radiant Valley, where anything can be bought and sold."

Vivian forced a smile. "I get it, but I was eager to find the special medicine quickly to wake up Mrs. Maria Abbott. I just wanted to help!"

After speaking, Vivian looked at Aaron cautiously. "Aaron, I won't cause you any trouble."

Aaron said nothing, and Sam stepped forward to take Vivian's suitcase. At that moment, a black stretch Lincoln pulled up to the entrance.

Vivian stood not far from the door, and the splashing rainwater from the car made her already soaked dress even dirtier.

Seeing this, Sam was about to say something when several black-suited bodyguards emerged from the Lincoln, quickly forming two lines in front of the car door.

The spectacle was nothing short of extravagant. To top it off, a vibrant red carpet extended from the car door, stretching all the way into the opulent hotel lobby.

Elliot got out of the car respectfully, walked to the side, and opened the door. A pair of black high heels stepped out, revealing slender, straight legs.

Everyone held their breath, watching the woman get out of the car, eager to see who she was.

The woman wore a black long dress, her black hair slightly curled, and a dazzling diamond necklace around her neck. Her face was bare of makeup, except for bright red lipstick, beautiful and bold!

When Aaron saw the woman getting out of the car, he was stunned. Her familiar features struck him to the core. It was as if his mind was suddenly emptied!

He instinctively wanted to step forward but was blocked by the bodyguards, only able to watch her walk past him.

It took Aaron a long time to regain his composure. He pushed the bodyguards aside and strode towards the woman. "Susanna!"

He grabbed her wrist, his heart racing as he looked at the familiar features. A flash of joy crossed his face. "It's you, isn't it?"

He knew Susanna couldn't be dead! He had searched for four years and finally found her.

The next second, the woman in front of Aaron raised her hand and slapped him cleanly and decisively!
