Chapter 343 The Uncanny Resemblance to Susanna

Sam remained silent. Instead, he quietly ushered the slumbering Lillian to the car, ensuring their conversation wouldn't disturb her peaceful rest.

Vivian felt a bit uncomfortable seeing how protective Sam was of Lillian.

Susanna, wearing black sunglasses, looked at Vivian with a smirk. "Surprised to see me here? You actually dare to show up in front of me again. Looks like the last lesson wasn't harsh enough for you."

Vivian immediately took a few steps back in fear. After all, the incident where she was almost eaten by a shark was a nightmare for her.

However, when Vivian realized they were in Lindwell and not Radiant Valley, she straightened her back and said, "Ms. Ramirez, don't get too cocky. This is the Abbott family's territory in Lindwell, not Radiant Valley."

"Sorry, but I'm always cocky no matter where I go. You better not try to mess with me, or I promise you'll regret it for the rest of your life."

With those words hanging in the air, Susanna silently entered the car, her gaze falling upon the peaceful slumber of Lillian beside her, choosing to remain reticent. Sam stood outside the car and said to Vivian, "Ms. Ramirez is a guest of the Abbott family. Show some respect."

After all, Susanna had agreed to give the special medicine to the Abbott family, so they had to bear this favor.

Vivian was furious. "Sam, how can you be fooled by her too? She's just a fake who looks like Susanna."

"Enough. Mind your words and steer clear of unnecessary trouble," Sam asserted bluntly.

Finding Vivian's remarks unwise, he had already clarified Nova's status as a guest of the Abbott family, yet Vivian persisted in arguing. With that, Sam entered the car, leaving Vivian behind, opting to ignore her.

Vivian stomped in anger, watching the car leave, not understanding why Sam would bring Nova back to Lindwell and call her a guest of the Abbott family.

The notion crossed her mind – Could Nova have agreed to hand over the special medicine? A shiver ran down Vivian's spine at the thought.

Swiftly hailing a taxi to tail them to the hospital, Vivian contemplated the implications. If the special medicine awakened Maria, wouldn't it unveil the long-buried truth?

A glint of malice flickered in her eyes. She had anticipated Maria's imminent demise, but Nova's possession of the special medicine caught her off guard!

An hour later, the car stopped outside the hospital.

Susanna looked up at the brightly lit hospital. She glanced at the sleeping Lillian, and Sam whispered, "The bodyguards will take good care of Lillian. Don't worry, no one in Lindwell would dare to mess with the Abbott family."

Hearing this, Susanna felt relieved and got out of the car, following Sam into the hospital. Holding the box containing the special medicine, she watched the elevator numbers anxiously.

Maria was still undergoing resuscitation efforts, and as Sam had conveyed, the situation was dire. As the elevator doors slid open, Susanna emerged and made her way directly to the emergency room.

She looked up and saw Aaron's back. He was talking to a doctor, his handsome features serious, with his brows tightly furrowed.

Besides Aaron, there was a young woman carrying a designer bag. As she approached, Susanna could smell the strong perfume on her.

Sam stepped forward and said, "Aaron, the special medicine is here."

Aaron looked up at Susanns, his deep gaze falling on the box in her hand. After a moment of surprise, he said, "Thank you."

Susanna walked over with the box and handed it to him. "Save her first, but given Maria's current condition, the dosage of the special medicine might not be enough."

The special medicine was hard to find and only circulated in auction houses like those in Radiant Valley. It couldn't be bought on the market.

Aaron's expression was serious. "No matter what, let's try it first."

The special medicine was quickly taken by the doctors.

Susanna caught the woman with the potent perfume staring at her in disbelief. She subtly turned her head and offered a small, friendly smile.

Elaine was so startled by this smile that her scalp tingled. She suddenly stood up and hid behind Aaron. "Aaron, who is she?"

She pondered to herself, 'Why does she look exactly like Susanna? There's no sign of plastic surgery!'

Watching their interaction, Susanna made a quick guess at the woman's identity. She probably was Elaine Abbott, Aaron's sister.

However, seeing Elaine's nervous look, Susanna wondered if she had been involved when she encountered trouble with the Abbott family back then.

Thinking of this, Susanna's eyes darkened, but her smile grew wider. She proactively said to Elaine, "Hello, I am Nova Ramirez. You can just call me Nova."

Elaine swallowed. "Your last name is Ramirez?"

Finding some relief, Elaine still couldn't shake the discomfort of the striking resemblance, feeling as if she were looking at Susanna herself. At this moment, a doctor came over and said to Aaron, "We need you to come over. There are some decisions that require your personal input."

Aaron didn't hesitate and followed the doctor.

Susanna stood in place, glancing at the flashing light of the emergency room. From Aaron's tense expression, it was clear he cared a lot about the Maria being resuscitated inside.

The atmosphere in the hallway became a bit awkward.

Elaine kept sneaking glances at Nova, feeling something was off. How did Aaron go to Radiant Valley to buy special medicine and bring back a woman who looked so much like Susanna?

She accidentally noticed the bag Susanna was carrying and her eyes lit up. "Is that the limited edition leather bag from DivineDynasty's anniversary collection? And it's the mini size! That's the hardest one to get!"

Susanna calmly replied, "Is it? I have another one in a different color, but I don't really like it, so I didn't carry it."

Elaine immediately showed a look of delight. "If you don't like it, can you give it to me? We can discuss the price!"

In Lindwell, this petite bag was a coveted item. After missing out on it previously and enduring taunts from other women, Elaine was determined to secure the bag this time and flaunt her triumph! Seeing Elaine take the bait, Susanna generously nodded. "No problem. Since you're Mr. Abbott's sister, I'll just give it to you as the gift."

"Seriously?" Elaine beamed with joy. She hadn't anticipated Susanna giving her the bag outright. This particular bag was notoriously difficult to acquire and certainly not affordable. After adding each other on Facebook, Elaine tentatively asked, "Nova, did you meet Aaron in Radiant Valley?"

"Yeah, he wantedto buy the special medicine from me," Susanna mentioned, glancing towards the emergency room. "How did Mrs. Maria Abbott slip into a coma?"
