Chapter 170 The Playboy's Moves
Susanna glanced at Brian, who was searching for her name on WhatsApp, and said awkwardly, "No results found."
"How could it not be found? I even pinned your chat," Brian replied, confused.
He distinctly remembered pinning their chat. How could it have disappeared?
Susanna coughed and said, "It's in the blocked list."
"Who blocked you?"
Seeing Susanna’s number in the blocked list, Brian turned around and asked sternly, "Did you do this? Who gave you permission to touch my phone and block Susanna?"
The woman tearfully responded, "You wouldn't even pin my chat before, but now you pin another woman's. I'm your girlfriend!"
"How can you even compare yourself to Susanna? Do you even deserve it?" Brian shot back.
Just as Brian was about to say something harsher, he noticed Susanna still standing nearby. He immediately softened his expression and looked at her gently, saying, "Susanna, this is a misunderstanding. I didn't block you. Don't be mad."
"Brian, I'm not mad."
Susanna looked at the woman crying on the sofa, feeling a complex mix of emotions. Brian's breakup speech just now clearly showed he was a jerk.
At that moment, a uniformed individual stood up and said, "Alright, a family member just needs to sign here. You can handle your personal matters yourselves."
After Susanna signed the form, she apologized, "Sorry for the trouble."
The suite quickly became quiet, with only the sound of the woman sobbing.
Brian, a bit impatient, turned to Susanna. "Let's go."
"Just leave like this?" Susanna asked.
"Yeah, don't worry about her. Give me a second to change clothes," Brian replied.
He headed straight to the bedroom, leaving Susanna standing awkwardly outside. She glanced at the woman on the sofa and hesitated, "Um..."
Before Susanna could finish, the woman glared at her and rushed into the bedroom.
Susanna stood outside, unsure of what to do. It felt inappropriate to go in while Brian was changing.
Soon, Brian's voice came from the bedroom. "What are you doing here? Are you crazy? Why are you taking off your clothes?"
Worried Susanna might see this scene, Brian walked over and closed the bedroom door, with the woman pressing against his back. "Brian, I know you still have feelings for me. Didn't you compliment my appearance last night?"
Without showing any emotion, he firmly grasped the woman's chin, his gaze icy. "Yes, you did go too far. You're just a toy to me. Don't assume I'm unaware of the things you've been doing in my name. If you want to walk away without consequences, leave now. Otherwise, the next person seeking you out will be a lawyer."
Brian admitted he was indeed a playboy. This woman had gone to great lengths to drive a wedge between him and his ex to climb up, and he had turned a blind eye because he had many women.
He was always generous to his girlfriends and had a high tolerance, but there were limits.
He couldn't tolerate a woman around him daring to lose her temper at Susanna and even blocking her!
The woman, meeting Brian's cold gaze, shrank back, realizing he was really angry.
Brian released her with disgust, commanding, "Pack your things and go back to Novaria. If I find out you stayed here or tried to trouble Susanna, don't blame me for being ruthless and ruining everything for you."
The woman finally realized the fear and reluctantly said, "Okay, I'll leave now. Don't be mad. Let's both calm down, and we can talk when you come back to Novaria."
Brian's gaze turned cold. He felt there was nothing left to discuss.
As long as it didn't touch his bottom line, he could overlook his girlfriend's little tantrums and tricks. But now it involved Susanna, which was unacceptable.
Brian responded gently, opting to send the woman back to Novaria temporarily to prevent any trouble in Lindwell and to keep her from bothering Susanna.
The woman, upon receiving the response, joyfully began packing her suitcase. Her belief: as long as they remained intact, she could reclaim Brian upon his return to Novaria.
Brian, after changing clothes, came out and saw Susanna standing with her back to the bedroom. He couldn't help but chuckle, "Take a seat, why are you standing?"
Susanna turned and saw Brian fully dressed, feeling a bit awkward. "Since everything's settled here, should I leave first? You two should talk."
After all, this was between Brian and his girlfriend, and she didn't want to interfere.
"No need. If anyone's leaving, it's her, not you," said Brian.
As soon as he finished speaking, Susanna saw the woman come out of the bedroom, dragging her suitcase and storming out.
After she left, Susanna hesitantly asked, "Brian, did I cause you trouble? Did you explain everything to your girlfriend?"
"That kind of woman..." Brian paused briefly and then continued in a soft tone, "Susanna, she's just my girlfriend, not my wife."
Susanna's mouth twitched. It was confirmed, Brian was a douchebag!
Brian, feeling his image was damaged in front of Susanna, quickly explained, "Susanna, dating and marriage are different. After what happened, I realized she's not suitable for me."
'Alright, you're my brother, you're right,' Susanna thought to herself.
She never expected that among her six brothers, one would be a master of romance.
She gazed into Brian's captivating eyes and sighed. His face was undeniably the kind that drew attention from the opposite sex.
Brian, feeling guilty, said, "Let's go; let's visit the scenic spot. I heard the sunset here is beautiful."
Susanna could only nod. After all, this was Brian's private matter, and she couldn't interfere.
Luckily, he was just her brother.
The two left the five-star hotel together and got into a private car parked nearby.
A black luxury car was parked next to them. Aaron watched them leave together, his face darkening, commanding, "Find out who that man is!"
Aaron was initially curious about the urgency of the matter, concerned that something serious might have occurred, like the last time when her foster parents had kidnapped her.
But this time, he ended up watching quite a show!
Tyler called the hotel to inquire about the situation, then looked a bit uneasy, unsure whether to tell the boss the truth.
Aaron tugged at his tie and said, "Speak."
