Chapter 339 This Woman Is Just a Fake

When Sam saw what was going down, he was floored. He turned to Susanna and was like, "Ms. Ramirez, are you trying to kill her?"

Susanna shrugged it off, "Vivian drenched me for no reason. She loves swimming so much, I'm just making her dream come true. How could I be trying to kill her?"

Sam pointed at the thing in the water. "That's a shark, right? Still gonna say you're not trying to kill her?"

Vivian, hearing the ruckus, looked up and yelled, "Help, Aaron!"

Susanna casually scratched her ear and shot a glance at Aaron, saying, "I'm the type who believes in payback. You mess with me, I'll hit you back ten times harder—every single time."

Sam chimed in, "Ms. Ramirez, you can't mess around with people's lives."

Susanna gave Sam a death stare and said, "Think I'm joking?" Without a second thought, she gave Sam a shove towards the sea. "You're going for a swim too!"

Sam probably didn't see that coming. He grabbed the railing just in time, stopping himself from falling in. He looked down and saw the shark right below, breaking out in a cold sweat. If he had fallen, it would've been game over!

Aaron stepped up, pulled Sam back, and then looked at Susanna. "Vivian brought this on herself. You've taught her a lesson; isn't that enough?"

Hearing Aaron, Susanna stepped up to him, adjusted the buttons on his new shirt, and said softly, "Nope!"

Sam finally climbed up and asked, "Ms. Ramirez, isn't this enough? What more do you want?"

Susanna raised an eyebrow and looked over. "Honestly, no one has ever dared to pour water on me. Vivian's the first. If I don't teach her a harsh lesson now, she won't know her place. I'm also doing this for Mr. Abbott's sake, so she won't cause trouble for you in the future."

Sam was speechless, not expecting Susanna to be so good at twisting words.

Aaron turned his head to look at Vivian in the water, surrounded by sharks. He spoke coldly, "Apologize."

Vivian, shivering in the cold water, looked at Aaron in disbelief. "Aaron?"

She thought Aaron would be mad and rescue her right away! But no, Aaron's first words were to ask her to apologize!

Sam quickly said, "Aaron, let's get Vivian out first. The water's freezing, and she could get hypothermia and be in real danger."

Just then, a bunch of stern-looking, black-clad bodyguards showed up, their eyes locked on Sam and Aaron, clearly ready to stop any interference. Susanna covered her mouth and laughed, "Don't do anything stupid, or my guys might 'accidentally' let go, and the shark will get into the cage."

Vivian screamed in fear, "Help, the shark wants to bite me!"

Sam was losing it, yelling, "Ms. Ramirez, are you nuts? Do you want to go against the Abbott family of Lindwell?"

Susanna let out a double sigh. As the heir to the prestigious Jones family of Novaria, she pondered, 'Are the Abbotts of Lindwell really all that impressive?' Leaning against the railing, she casually picked up some fresh meat, tossing it towards Vivian. The shark quickly detected the blood and started ramming the cage, making Vivian scream even louder.

Susanna's lips curled into a cold smile as she stared at Vivian in the water. "Did you think Aaron showing up would make everything go your way? In this world, it's not the Abbott family that runs the show. When you gotta show some respect, you show it. Got it?"

Sam was speechless and looked straight at Aaron. "Aaron, say something."

Aaron looked at Vivian struggling in the water and then spoke coldly, "I told you to apologize. Didn't you hear me?"

"Aaron, I did nothing wrong!" Vivian refused to apologize.

Aaron frowned and asked, "Why did you deliberately pour water?"

Vivian stated firmly, "Because she's a fraud. She's not Susanna. I didn't want you to be deceived!"

Seeing Vivian's pale face from the cold, Sam quickly tried to mediate. "Aaron, Vivian was worried about you, that's why she did this."

While Vivian may have gone a bit overboard, it was Susanna who ultimately tossed Vivian into the shark cage. Aaron stared coldly at Vivian. "I never asked for your pointless interventions. If you can't even see where you went wrong, then I'm done. You're on your own."

Without another word, Aaron spun on his heel and made his exit, showing no inclination to stick around. This shocked not only Sam but also Susanna, who showed a surprised expression.

Sam stepped forward to grab Aaron. "Aaron, are you just gonna leave?"

Susanna shot a glance back at Vivian in the water. "Well, now that Aaron's leaving, you're just breathing for no good reason. Might as well throw yourself to the sharks. Open the cage door."

The bodyguards immediately released the chains of the cage.

Vivian instantly sank into the water, crying and snotting in fear. Seeing Aaron really leaving, she pleaded desperately, "I was wrong, I'm sorry, I know I was wrong. Ms. Ramirez, I shouldn't have poured water on you. It's all my fault!"

She was on the verge of collapse. The thought of being devoured by a shark was unbearable to her.

In response to Vivian's tearful plea, Susanna's expression twisted into a mocking sneer. "Stubborn to the end, aren't you?" She turned to look at Aaron and Sam standing in the cabin, her gaze falling on Aaron. It was evident that Aaron was strategically backing Vivian into a corner, pushing her to the brink in order to extract an apology.

Sam spoke up, "Now that Vivian has apologized, Ms. Ramirez, can you forgive her and let her go?"

Susanna slowly walked over to Aaron and said, "Keep your woman in check. Don't let her show up in front of me again, or I'll throw her to the sharks, and you'll be left to clean up the mess."

Aaron frowned. "She's not my woman. She's my..."

"I'm not interested, nor do I want to hear it," Susanna interrupted Aaron, dismissing him as she briskly exited the rolling yacht.

Witnessing Vivian's heartfelt plea, a sense of vindication washed over her.

On the yacht, the bodyguards soon rescued Vivian from the water.

Sam asked with concern, "Vivian, are you okay?"

Vivian shook her head in grievance and looked at Aaron, "Aaron, I thought you really didn't care about me?"

"Vivian, you and Aaron are family. How could he not care about you? It's just that Susanna is too arrogant." Sam comforted.

Aaron looked down at Vivian. "Next time, I won't clean up your mess. Remember your place!"

Vivian said unwillingly, "Aaron, Susanna is already dead. That Nova is just an impostor."

Aaron turned and grabbed Vivian by the neck, his eyes icy cold.
