Chapter 325 Teach Her a Lesson

Susanna just dragged Lillian over to find Connor, making sure he didn't flake on his promise.

Aaron glanced down and noticed the box in Lillian's hand, which looked like it had the special medicine.

He said coolly, "I need that special medicine. Name your price."

Lillian felt a bit guilty and was about to say she'd give it to him when Susanna cut in, "Sorry, the special medicine is ours. Not for sale. And we don't need your money!"

Sam couldn't hold back and stepped up. "Look, if there's a problem, let's deal with it straight up. But Aaron really needs that special medicine to save lives. Can you cut us some slack, just as a favor between friends?"

Quick as a flash, Susanna stomped on Sam's foot, snapping, "Jerk! Who'd wanna be friends with you?" She was about to leave with Lillian when a woman suddenly blocked their way.

Vivian stood at the staircase, blocking their path. "Ms. Ramirez, this special medicine is really important to Aaron. Your beef with Sam shouldn't mess things up for others. Honestly, you're being pretty mean, and it's a bad example for the kid."

Susanna's face turned icy as she looked down at Lillian. "Is she the one who ruined your smartwatch?"

Lillian nodded. "Yeah, it's her! She even told to stop bugging Uncle Aaron."

Vivian's face changed and she said, "I was just thinking of Lillian's well-being. It's not right for her to follow a stranger."

Susanna sneered, "Since when did you become the boss of my kid? Do you know how much I freaked out when I couldn't reach Lillian? So it was you who messed up her smartwatch."

"I haven't even settled the score with you, and here you are, delivering yourself to me," Susanna added, stepping forward.

Vivian was scared at first, but seeing Aaron there, she got her nerve back. "It was just an accident. I didn't think the smartwatch would shut down after falling into the water."

Susanna's face stayed cold as she shoved Vivian, making her tumble down the stairs.

Vivian fell backward, her white slip dress tearing and showing her underwear.

Seeing this, Sam rushed down the stairs, yelling, "Why'd you push her?"

Susanna casually brushed off her hands and shot a disdainful look at Sam and Vivian. "I always settle my scores. She almost made me lose touch with Lillian. I was just giving her a taste of her own medicine; it's not like I put her life in danger," she said coolly.

Sam's anger flared as he quickly took off his jacket and covered Vivian protectively. "You okay?" he asked, his voice full of concern.

Vivian shook her head, holding back the pain, and looked at Aaron with teary eyes. "Aaron!"

Aaron said coldly, "You do owe Lillian an apology."

Vivian's face darkened. She thought Aaron would back her up after seeing her like this, but he still thought she was in the wrong?

Susanna glanced back at Aaron, appreciating his sense. Raising an eyebrow, she said, "No need for apologies. I've already taught her a lesson, so we're even."

Guiding Lillian down the stairs, with Vivian still blocking the way, Susanna's high heels clicked with purpose. She didn't even glance at Vivian as she elegantly stepped over her, striding forward with determined grace.

Sam quickly moved Vivian aside. If those high heels had stepped on her, it would've been a bloody mess.

Susanna left gracefully with Lillian, while the onlookers just stood there, not lifting a finger to help.

Despite the boiling anger inside her, Vivian managed to keep her cool as she explained, "Sam, I was just trying to help Lillian contact her family, that's all."

"I get it. Just get up; don't sit on the ground." Sam helped Vivian up, still in shock at Susanna's arrogance.

Aaron came down the stairs and glanced at Vivian. "Have a doctor check on her."

Vivian's eyes lit up. "Aaron, I can explain."

Aaron, clearly impatient, said, "You know what you did. The bodyguard saw everything. Do you need him to confront you?"

Vivian finally shut up, regretting not being more careful.

Sam looked at her, surprised, and she reluctantly explained, "I might have been too anxious and scolded Lillian like she was my own kid."

Sam sighed, "Lillian's not easy to deal with. Why scold her?" He had his own run-ins with Lillian.

Just then, a waiter approached Aaron. "Ms. Ramirez asked me to tell you that if you want the special medicine, visit her room tonight," he whispered.

Aaron saw the room key card the waiter handed over, with the room number written on it.

Sam glanced at it. "Aaron, looks like she's got an interest in you."

Vivian, noticing the exchange, couldn't help but comment, "Isn't she with Lillian? Inviting a man to her room at night, isn't that bad for Lillian?"

Sam stayed quiet. Whether it was to uncover the mystery behind this Nova woman or to get the special medicine, he knew Aaron had to meet her.

At that moment, a guy nearby said, "Bro, if you don't want it, give me the room key."

Aaron shot him a cold look and took the room key.

Seeing this, Vivian's eyes darkened, though she was too overwhelmed with pain to do anything. At that moment, she was sure that the arrogant woman called Nova was definitely not Susanna!

Susanna returned to the room with Lillian and saw her looking down. "What's wrong?"

"Mommy, do you think Uncle Aaron will be mad? I took his stuff. Will he think I'm a bad kid?"

"He'll just remember you more." Susanna knew these men too well.

Lillian placed the box on the table and asked, "Mommy, when should I give the gift to Uncle Aaron?"

"Don't rush. Let me test him tonight to see if he's worthy of being your dad."

Lillian nodded obediently and turned to report the good news to Charles with her smartwatch, hoping they might soon have a dad.

Abel, watching this, didn't know what to say. Was this twist of events destiny or just a cruel coincidence?

Four years had passed, and Susanna still ran into Aaron.

This time, it was such a coincidence that Aaron had safely brought Lillian from the airport to the hotel and saved her from being kidnapped. Could this be the unbreakable bond of blood?

After much thought, Abel decided to speak up, "Ms. Jones, there's something I need to tell you."
