Chapter 336 This Is a Good Thing

Aaron heard the knock and saw a waiter at the door with a big gift box, making him feel like he was being kept. He was so thrown off, he just stood there, speechless.

Aaron was lost in thought about Susanna's crazy confidence. How could she think he'd still trust her after what he overheard? Where did she get the nerve to act so bold?

Sam, standing next to him, got curious. He walked over, took the gift, and said seriously, "Does Ms. Ramirez have anything else to say?"

"She wants Mr. Abbott to come to room 888. She won't leave until she sees him tonight!"

Sam was shocked. As the waiter left, he excitedly put the gift on the table in front of Aaron. "Dude, you went out for a bit and came back looking all messed up. She even sent you a gift and wants to meet tonight. Did you guys make up?"

"No!" Aaron said, annoyed, and kicked Sam. "Did I ask you to take this?"

"Aaron, you looked awkward, so I thought I'd help by accepting the gift."

"I don't need it." Aaron's tone was firm. But as he looked at the box, memories of Susanna's smile weighed on his mind.

"Aaron, answer me first. Did you have a real talk just now?" Sam asked.

Aaron responded sulkily. Since he had made it clear, it should count as a real conversation.

Sam looked at Aaron's messy appearance and teased, "Your clothes are all messed up, and you say it wasn't a real talk."

Aaron thought of Susanna messing with him. As a guy, he felt a bit embarrassed and replied, "Are you a chick? Why are you so nosy!"

"In that case, I'll return the gift. We should have some pride as men!" Sam said.

Aaron said in a deep voice, "Put it down."

"Well, a girl giving you a gift is a good sign," Sam said, placing the gift box in front of Aaron.

Aaron wasn't so optimistic. Sam didn't know what had just happened.

He always thought Nova was Susanna, pretending not to know him. But now, he wasn't so sure.

Aaron hesitated for a moment before deciding to open the gift box. To his surprise, he found a piece of clothing inside, or rather, what seemed like too little fabric for comfort.

As he pulled it out, Aaron's face darkened. In his hand was a pair of black underwear with delicate lace edges. Gritting his teeth, he asked, "What is this?"

Sam was also stunned by the contents. "Aaron, Susanna's gotten a lot bolder after being apart from you. Isn't it obvious? It's a set of very sexy underwear. Isn't the hint clear enough?"

Aaron threw the item at Sam. "Are you blind? This is men's underwear!"

Definitely not women's underwear!

Aaron was so mad he took off his coat. What did Susanna mean by this? Was she hinting for him to wear this?

Sam looked at the material and style in his hand and realized it was indeed men's!

He quickly put the item back in the box, looking a bit embarrassed. "Aaron, don't be so mad. Anyway, this is a good thing."

Aaron squinted his eyes. "If it's a good thing, why don't you wear it?"

"Susanna bought this for you, not me."

Aaron leaned back on the sofa, staring at the ceiling. "Honestly, I'm not even sure if she's Susanna."

What happened under the table earlier made him think that, based on Susanna's character, she would never do such a thing.

"I think it probably is her. There wouldn't be such a coincidence. She's probably still pissed about what happened back then and is just trying to mess with you. Are you just gonna give up, Aaron?" Sam analyzed.

Aaron squinted his eyes thoughtfully. "You also think she's still acting?" he questioned, a hint of skepticism in his voice.

"Exactly. Why don't you go to the room tonight and expose her true face? If she really is Susanna, she definitely won't get intimate with you, she would just tease you," Sam suggested.

Aaron looked at the lingerie in the box and didn't say anything.

Sam continued, "Aaron, don't worry about Lillian. I can take care of her for you tonight."

Aaron glanced at the time and stood up. "Have the assistant send me a new set of casual clothes," he commanded, feeling an inexplicable urge to ditch the suit.

"Aaron, are you gonna change into the clothes in this box too?"

"Get lost!"

Sam almost burst out laughing. He held his stomach, laughing uncontrollably, finding it hard to believe Aaron would be in such a situation.

Susanna had become quite interesting, sending Aaron men's lingerie. He could hardly believe it.

In the evening, Aaron wore a white casual outfit, standing in front of the mirror, looking at himself. He frowned and muttered, "Is there no other casual outfit?"

"Mr. Abbott, since we only brought suits this time, there are no other casual outfits. This was bought at Radiant Valley Mall. There weren't many choices, but I heard it's a best-seller."

Sam chimed in, "Aaron, I think this white casual outfit looks good. It makes you look much younger, like a college kid."

"If you can't speak properly, shut up!"

Aaron adjusted his clothes. He rarely wore such casual outfits, let alone clothes that only young people would wear. But now, he had no choice but to make do.

Glancing briefly at his watch, he left the suite, opting to take the elevator directly to room 888. Last time, Susanna had extended an invitation to this room, but Aaron had chosen to decline, opting instead to invite her to dine in the glass room upstairs.

Soon, Aaron arrived outside room 888.

Feeling a tad nervous, Aaron fought the urge to adjust his non-existent tie as he stood before the door. His hand clenched slightly, and with a deep breath, he knocked on the door.

The next second, the door opened.

Aaron's face changed instantly when he saw the person who opened the door. "Who are you?" he asked.

The person who opened the door wasn't Susanna but a very young man.

They looked at each other, and the atmosphere was slightly awkward.

Aaron's thin lips pressed together. "Where is she?"

"She hasn't arrived yet. Who are you? Coming to see her so late, are you the boy she's been spending money on recently?"

The young man had a mocking look on his face, sizing up Aaron, noticing his white casual outfit. He sneered, "You even deliberately wore her favorite brand. You really put in some effort!"

Aaron was puzzled.
