Chapter 526 Never Let Vivian Succeed

Susanna pulled her hand back and looked at Vivian, saying, "When did you become the president's daughter? Your identity isn't public yet, right?"

Amelia sneered, "Just an illegitimate child, and you dare call yourself the president's daughter? Once your identity were exposed, you'd face nationwide backlash. Whose side do you think Dad will be on then?"

Vivian's eyes flashed with defiance. "Then go ahead and expose it. Let's see whose side Dad takes."

Vivian knew exactly what kind of person Owen was.

She had approached Owen before, but he just threw some money at her to make her go away and even sent people to threaten and watch her, warning her to keep quiet or face the consequences.

But things were different now; she planned to have Ramond adopted by Owen.

Owen always wanted a son to take over the family business, so his attitude would definitely change.

She had made the right move and would stick to it. Maybe she couldn't reveal her identity just yet, but her life had changed dramatically.

As long as she waited patiently for Ramond to grow up and take over everything from the Richardson Family, what did she have to worry about?

Amelia shouted, "We'll see about that."

Vivian left with an air of arrogance, and Susanna's gaze fell on Vivian's ankle. How coincidental that Vivian had removed the tattoo on her ankle?

At first, she thought the tattoo might have been a coincidence, but now Vivian's actions confirmed that the person who had knocked her out back then was definitely Vivian.

For the past five years, due to amnesia, she hadn't remembered anything from before.

This had allowed Vivian to get away with it for five years, but now that she remembered everything, Vivian's good days were numbered.

Amelia wiped her tears and said, "Susanna, I think you were right to advise me back then. Vivian's only leverage now is to have Ramond adopted into the Richardson Family to gain my father's protection. But if I agree to bring Ramond into our family and have my grandparents accept him, then Vivian won't be able to return to our family."

Susanna patted Amelia's shoulder and said, "It's good that you understand. This plan might not be the best, but it's a suggestion. Whether to go through with it is up to you."

Amelia's expression turned serious. "But what choice do I have now? Vivian is cunning and has my Dad wrapped around her finger. No, my Dad must know her true nature; he's just turning a blind eye to everything she does because of Ramond. Now that I see things clearly, there's no reason to hesitate."

Susanna could see from Amelia's expression that she had grown a lot in an instant.

After all, Amelia had previously rejected the idea of having the Richardson Family accept Ramond to suppress Vivian, but now she suddenly accepted it, likely because she was completely disappointed in Owen.

Amelia gritted her teeth and said, "If my family accepts Ramond, my dad will be thrilled. Falling out with my grandparents doesn't help him, and divorcing my mom won't help his re-election. So, I need to make Vivian pay. Once she's out of the picture, dealing with a four-year-old will be easy."

This was all Vivian's doing.

She would protect everything Paige had built and wouldn't let Owen hand it over to a mistress's kid.

The surgery ended soon, and they wheeled out the unconscious Paige.

Seeing Paige with an oxygen tank, Susanna felt a pang of sorrow.

This wasn't over yet. If Amelia lost to Vivian, their fate wouldn't be good.

Amelia wiped her tears and said, "Mom, don't worry. I won't let a mistress's kid return to the Richardson Family and take everything from us."

After leaving the hospital, Susanna thought about Amelia's experiences and wondered if she could really pull herself together.

Just then, the secretary in the passenger seat turned around and said, "Mr. Abbott has invited us again to discuss the hotel collaboration. Their proposal offers quite favorable terms. The Lindwell market hasn't been tapped yet, and if we collaborate with the Abbott Group, we could make a fortune in Lindwell."

"Alright, but we can't directly negotiate with the Abbott Group. Doing so would put us at a disadvantage since Lindwell is their territory. Let's host an investment banquet and announce that our winery is looking for partners. Hope that interested parties will attend."

"Ms. Jones, if you attend the banquet, won't that reveal your identity? Didn't you say you didn't want to expose your identity?"

"That's right, but times have changed. Whether I hide my identity now isn't important. I can attend the banquet without revealing my identity. Just because I'm there doesn't mean I'm the owner."

"Ms. Jones, you make a good point. I'll arrange the business banquet right away. Over the years, our winery has done very well in Philadelphia, and many people want to collaborate with us, but nothing has been finalized. If you hint at a collaboration, many will be eager to get an invitation to our banquet."

Susanna nodded and then thought about the tattoo on Vivian's ankle, frowning. "Check out if Vivian got the tattoo on her ankle due to a burn."

"Alright, no problem. So, Ms. Jones, are you heading home or somewhere else?"

"Take me to the research institute."

Susanna felt that if she went back to the Jones Family now, Edward would definitely give her a lecture.

She might as well go to the research institute to accompany Charles, who would be discharged in a few days.

On her way to the research institute, Susanna sent Aviana a WhatsApp message to inform her that she would be with Charles in the evening.

She quietly went to the research institute, planning to buy a gift and surprise Charles.

At that moment, Charles was sitting in front of the computer, engaged in a battle with Aaron. After all, the last time he and his team tried to hack Aaron's computer, but they hadn't determined a winner.

This time, they were determined to settle the score.
