Chapter 320 This Is the Truth

Susanna shook her phone, eyeing Thalia and Lysander across the table.

Thalia seemed to catch on, but Lysander lunged for the phone. Susanna dodged, smirking. "Chill, dude. I'm just showing this to your wife. What's the rush?"

Lysander, red-faced and fuming, jabbed a finger at Susanna. "Don't you dare mess with us, or you'll regret it!"

Aaron pried Lysander's fingers off, making him yelp, "Let go!"

Meanwhile, Susanna showed Thalia the video. "Check this out. It's the real deal."

Thalia's jaw dropped as she watched Lysander buying a bracelet, identical to hers, with some young chick by his side.

Susanna added, "Your hubby bought that bracelet at Dreamy Delights Depot, but it went to his side piece. Bet he gave you a knockoff to hide the splurge."

Thalia snapped, smacking Lysander. "Who's the chick in the video?"

Lysander, cold as ice, shot back, "Why are you hitting me? You're so overbearing, I had to find someone else."

"You jerk! I'm gonna kill you!"

Chaos erupted.

Lysander's son whined, "I want that prize!"

But Thalia and Lysander were too busy fighting to care. The kid stomped over to Lillian, demanding, "Give me the prize, or I'll beat you up."

Scared, Lillian backed off. "It's mine!"

"You only have a mom, no dad. You don't deserve first place!"

Lillian's eyes welled up, and she dropped the prize.

Aaron picked it up, dusting it off. He glared at the kid, "Who says she doesn't have a dad?"

Lillian's face lit up, and she chirped, "Daddy!"

Aaron froze, caught off guard. His eyes flicked to Sam, realizing the misunderstanding.

But Aaron quickly composed himself, kneeling in front of Lillian and handing her the prize.

Susanna leaned down to the bratty kid, whispering, "Soon, you'll be without a mom or dad too. Your dad's gonna ditch you for his mistress's kid."

The kid burst into tears.

Susanna didn't feel bad at all. The little punk deserved it after what he said to Lillian.

After putting the brat in his place, Susanna turned to see Aaron squatting in front of a beaming Lillian. A swirl of emotions hit her.

A sudden thought struck Susanna, remembering Lillian's secret trip to Radiant Valley to find Sam. Despite all the love from her six uncles, Lillian still craved a dad's affection.

Susanna, always so sharp, had totally missed how much Lillian craved a dad. It was time to face this head-on and maybe shake things up for Lillian.

She walked over to Lillian, who had a backpack stuffed with prizes.

Susanna sighed, "You really love these prizes, huh? We've got tons of toys at home."

Lillian shook the box in her hand. "Only by winning these can I get this!"

Susanna asked, "What's inside?"

"A smartwatch!"

Susanna got serious. "Why didn't you answer my call? Do you know how worried I was?"

Lillian looked down. "My smartwatch fell in the water and broke. The bodyguard said it would work once it dried out."

Aaron chimed in, "The prize, is it a smartwatch?"

"Yep!" Lillian opened the box and handed it to Aaron. "Uncle, this is for you!"

Aaron was surprised. "For me?"

"Yeah," Lillian explained, "The Bodyguard said my smartwatch wasn't broken. But I had a feeling my mommy would come for me, so I wanted to give you a present. It's a matching set with mine."

Aaron laughed at the pink smartwatch. He didn't expect this.

Susanna's mouth twitched. "Lillian, isn't pink a bit much?"

Lillian pouted. "It's the only color."

"It's cool." Aaron took it. "Thanks for the gift."

Lillian's eyes sparkled. "Uncle, can I help you put it on?"

Aaron was caught off guard but couldn't say no. Soon, he had a pink smartwatch on his wrist.

Susanna watched, surprised. Aaron looked like he had money, dressed in an expensive suit. But he wore the pink smartwatch without a second thought.

Susanna felt a mix of emotions. Lots of guys had tried to get close to her by being nice to Lillian, but none had succeeded. Lillian seemed to really like Aaron!

Aaron stood up, his voice deep. "Let's go."

Susanna grabbed Lillian's hand. "We'll talk about this at home!"

Lillian shrank back, then secretly held Aaron's hand, walking happily between them.

Sam had been standing outside the amusement park, watching them. They looked like a family. He decided not to approach, sensing their bond.

When they reached the entrance, Susanna saw Sam. He had come but was just hanging out instead of looking for Lillian.

A cold glint flashed in Susanna's eyes. She walked up and kicked Sam. "Think being a dad is easy?"

Lillian snorted in agreement.

Sam, holding his foot, looked confused. "Have we met before?"
