Chapter 561 Do You Think I Would Care?
Susanna raised an eyebrow when she heard what the middle-aged woman said. She thought, 'The President's grandson? Is that one I know??'
The woman across from her saw Susanna's stunned expression and assumed she was scared. She immediately boasted, "How about that? Scared, right? I told you if I revealed our identity, it would terrify you."
Susanna turned to the teacher, Elodie Becky. "Is the new kid named Ramond?"
Elodie nodded. "Yeah, do you know him?"
Susanna hadn't expected such a coincidence. She looked at the arrogant woman. "Just a nanny, and you dare to act so high and mighty here?"
The middle-aged woman said, "Who are you calling names? You know who we are and you still have the nerve to speak like that? Really, no manners at all. Talking big without a man to back you up."
Susanna raised her hand and slapped her hard. She looked at the middle-aged woman and said, "Since you can't speak well, you shouldn't speak at all."
"You, you actually hit me!"
"So what if I did? If you have the guts, get the President to come find me. Tell him, if anything happens to my son, the Jones Family won't let it go." After saying that, Susanna left the office. She was eager to see Charles and check if he was hurt.
The middle-aged woman looked at Elodie in a daze. "Who is that woman?"
Elodie replied, "That is Ms. Jones."
"I'm asking if she's from the famous Jones Family?"
Elodie nodded. "Yes, from the Jones Family, the wealthiest family in Novaria."
The woman's legs went weak upon hearing this. She hadn't expected the other party to have such a high status. She was done for.
Susanna arrived outside the classroom and saw Charles and Lillian sitting together. Charles was reading a book, and Lillian was playing with toys.
Susanna walked over. "Charles, do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
Lillian stood up immediately upon seeing Susanna. "Mom, it wasn't Charles's fault. That chubby boy started the name-calling."
Susanna patted Lillian's head. "I know it wasn't Charles's fault."
Charles looked up coolly. "I'm not hurt. Michael taught me self-defense at the institute."
Lillian added, "Yeah, Charles pinned that boy down and beat him up. It was so cool."
Susanna couldn't help but laugh at Lillian's words. She had been worried that fighting would affect the kids, but it seemed she was overthinking it. She looked at the two children. "As long as you're alright. Can you tell me why you were fighting?"
Elodie said she hadn't found out the reason for the fight. Charles paused. "It's nothing."
Susanna had to look at Lillian, who angrily said, "That chubby boy insulted you. Charles couldn't stand it and fought back. That chubby boy's mom is a bad woman."
Lillian had met Vivian before and always disliked her, especially since she almost prevented Charles from getting treatment.
Susanna was silent for a moment, roughly understanding why Ramond suddenly started troubling Charles. It seemed Ramond had indeed been spoiled.
Susanna looked at the children and said, "I understand. You don't need to worry about this. I'll handle it."After checking on the kids, she went back to the office. As long as the kids were fine, everything else could be resolved. Susanna walked into the office and saw Ramond there.
Ramond glared at her with the same hatred he had the last time Susanna saw him. Susanna thought having a kid like Ramond in the same kindergarten as Charles and Lillian was like having a ticking time bomb around. She didn't want any potential threats near her children. Who knew what Vivian might pull in the future? She had to get Ramond out of this school.
The middle-aged woman saw Susanna come in and had a complex expression. She then looked at Ramond and said, "Ramond, remember what to say when your grandpa arrives, okay? Let him back you up, and let's see who dares to bully you then."
The woman sneered inwardly, 'So what if Susanna is the heir to the Jones Family? Ramond is Owen's grandchild.'
Susanna sneered, "You think Owen will come? Don't be ridiculous. He wouldn't show up for something so embarrassing."
After she said that, Ramond suddenly became agitated. "You wicked woman, it's all your fault."
Susanna looked at Ramond. "If you want to blame someone, blame your mother. She's the reason for everything you are now."
"Susanna, what nonsense are you telling my son?" Vivian hurried over. She had initially come to vent her anger after hearing that Ramond had been beaten, but she hadn't expected it to be Susanna's son. She hadn't expected Susanna to have twins back then.
Susanna showed no kindness. "Your son is so good at insulting people. It shows what you've been telling him. Ruining him won't do you any good."
"Susanna, don't say so much. Your son started it."
"That's because your son insulted my child, saying he didn't have a father."
Vivian sneered, "Isn't that the truth?"
Susanna's face darkened, and just as she was about to lose her temper, a tall figure suddenly approached. With a cold expression, Aaron said, "Vivian, when did my child not have a father?"
Susanna was stunned to see Aaron there. Why was he here? Vivian hadn't expected to see Aaron there either, and her expression became unnatural. "So what? You two are divorced, and Susanna never told you about the kids. In their eyes, isn't that the same as not having a father?"
"Shut up!" Aaron scolded Vivian. "Look at what you've turned your child into. From today on, you won't be staying with him. I'll take him back to the Abbott family."
"Who are you to do that? Ramond is my son, Owen's grandson. What can he get by going back to the Abbott family with you?" Madness gleamed in Vivian's eyes.
Aaron looked at Ramond. "What do you think? Do you still want to stay with her?"
Ramond didn't speak, but Vivian held his hand tightly. "Ramond, say something."
Finally, Ramond spoke. "I want to stay with Mom."
Vivian, feeling triumphant, said, "Did you hear that? Ramond wants to stay with me. Only I care about him and plan for his future."
Susanna squinted. "You're probably planning for yourself, aren't you?"
Vivian, feeling guilty, immediately looked at Aaron. "You can take Ramond, but only if you have no other children. You can't acknowledge Susanna's kids as part of the Abbott family, and they can't get a penny in the future."
Susanna sneered, "Do you think I care?" Aaron looked at Susanna with a complex expression.
