Chapter 210 A Forcible Kiss
Susanna couldn't wrap her head around Aaron's behavior. The divorce agreement clearly stated he had given her all his shares.
Daniel's divorce terms basically left Aaron with nothing!
But Aaron wasn't in a rush, which threw her off completely.
Aaron leaned back in his chair, looking down at her. "I'm not in a hurry, so why are you?"
She laughed, exasperated. "Aaron, you're not in a hurry, huh? Fine, I'll take this divorce agreement to your office tomorrow. Time for me to take over as CEO."
She expected him to be furious, but instead, he just smiled. "Sure, go ahead. There's a ton of work at the company, and I could use a break. If you need help with anything, just ask."
Susanna was at her wit's end. She grabbed his tie, teeth gritted. "Aaron, are you doing this on purpose?"
Aaron leaned back lazily, his long legs stretched out, looking down at her. Her eyes were moist, yet a spark of defiance flickered within them..
His sharp eyes had a hint of a smile. She was fierce but cute, like a little wildcat with claws, occasionally scratching him.
Aaron's voice was deep. "You've gotten smarter this time."
He was doing it on purpose.
Susanna seethed with anger, questioning his intentions.
But when she looked up and met his dark eyes, they seemed especially dim, much like the expression he had a few months ago during that absurd night.
In that instant, Susanna's face heated up. She realized she was now lying in his arms, looking like she was throwing herself at him.
Her face flushed as she tried to leave, but his hands held her waist, their warmth seeping through her thin clothes, making her feel uncomfortable all over.
Susanna struggled to escape, her face red, but Aaron didn't let go.
After a brief struggle, Susanna sensed the temperature around them skyrocketing. Feeling a mix of embarrassment and anger, she confronted Aaron, exclaiming, "Aaron, what do you think you're doing? This is a public place!"
Aaron grabbed her wrist, his eyes dark and deep. "We're still married, so what's the big deal?"
"Don't forget, I'm pregnant!"
Had Aaron gone mad?
After Susanna said this, she noticed Aaron's expression darken. Not only did he not let go, but he also grabbed the back of her head, his thin lips cold. "No need to remind me. The child in your belly is from your intimate contact with another man. This way, we don't need any protection, right?"
Hearing the last sentence, Susanna's lips lost all color.
'What is he trying to do?' she doubted.
The next second, Aaron pulled her into his arms, her legs straddling him, her ear pressed against his burning chest, and the strong, powerful heartbeat made her ears burn.
Susanna was overcome with tension, attempting to free herself from his grasp, but his hands proved unyielding.
Aaron lowered his head, his gaze fixed on her angry little face, then moved down to her tightly bitten lips, his thin lips approaching.
His large hand held the back of Susanna's head, giving her no chance to retreat.
Susanna felt something cold and wet press against her lips. Her eyes shot open.
'Aaron is kissing me?!' She couldn't believe it.
Her mind went blank, and it felt like her limbs were no longer under her control.
In their three years of marriage, aside from that one accident, they had no physical contact—not even holding hands, let alone kissing.
Aaron was actually forcing a kiss on her? What did he mean by this?
As Susanna grasped the situation, she tried to push him away, but Aaron effortlessly thwarted her efforts.
Her hands pressed against Aaron's chest, feeling his heartbeat, which seemed a bit fast.
His breathing also became a bit heavy as he indulged in her lips.
Susanna felt like she was in a dream; everything surreal. Opening her eyes, she found his handsome face close to hers, a hint of nervousness etched upon it.
"Stop it, what are you doing?"
Erica's voice came from behind, interrupting the moment.
Hearing someone approaching through the curtain, Aaron quickly furrowed his brow and stopped.
Susanna took the opportunity to push him away, retreating a few steps in panic, looking at Aaron in disbelief.
His handsome profile was tinged with a faint pink, and his neat collar was wrinkled from Susanna's grip.
Aaron's eyes were dark as ink, his thin lips still moist.
Susanna was momentarily stunned by Aaron's handsomeness, her ears still echoing his low, panting voice, tormenting her nerves bit by bit.
She hadn't expected Aaron to force a kiss on her just now!
Erica spoke tearfully, "Aaron, what were you two doing just now? Was it Susanna shamelessly making the first move?"
Upon hearing this, Susanna laughed in frustration, silently questioning, "I made the first move?"
Anger fueling her steps, Susanna marched towards Aaron, who raised an eyebrow, observing her advance without flinching, a fond smile playing on his thin lips.
The next second, Susanna grabbed his loosened tie and leaned into Aaron's arms, looking back provocatively at Erica. "What do you mean I made the first move? We're legally married. Kissing behind the stage curtain isn't inappropriate, right? It's not illegal, is it?"
Aaron looked at Susanna, who had thrown herself into his arms. Although his neck was a bit uncomfortable from the tie, he still lowered his head slightly, appearing to cooperate with Susanna's actions and agreeing with her words.
Erica was furious. "Susanna, stop talking nonsense. Aaron would never kiss you!"
Susanna turned back, smiling mockingly at Aaron. "Honey, Ms. Jones doesn't believe it. Why don't you explain it to her and put her mind at ease?"
"If I can't have peace, nobody's gonna have it either!" Susanna thought defiantly as she tossed the question back to Aaron, curious about how he would explain things to Erica.
Aaron looked down at her, his deep eyes smiling. "I don't think an explanation would be convincing."
"Then what do you think would be..."
Before Susanna could finish her sentence, Aaron sealed her lips again. She widened her eyes in disbelief at his actions!
Aaron was kissing her again?
And in front of Erica?
Erica, seeing this scene, was so angry she started crying, her lips trembling. "Aaron, how could you do this to me?"
