Chapter 507 The Situation Begins to Spiral Out of Control

Susanna was straight-up floored when she saw Maud get shoved to the ground; she never thought they'd throw down like that.

Maud, who'd always lived the high life, had never been treated like this, especially not by someone she always looked down on like Vivian.

Maud lost it and yelled, "How dare you hit me! Do you even know who my son is?"

"Yeah, I know who your son is, but even if he was here, I'd still smack you. You started it, and I'm just defending myself. You think I'm just gonna stand here and let you hit me? Keep dreaming."

"Back when you were trying to cozy up to the Abbott family, you groveled for years. Now your true colors are showing. I knew you were just a gold-digger, eyeing the Abbott family's money. I'll tell Aaron everything."

"I don't care. I don't need the Abbott family anymore. Go ahead and complain. Honestly, a woman like you is only lucky to have a son like Aaron. If it weren't for him, you'd have been beaten to death long ago."

Vivian's sharp words left Maud clutching her chest, gasping for air, unable to respond.

Susanna watched with great interest, even thinking about pulling out her phone to record the whole thing.

She never thought they'd fall out like this, and Vivian's words were so savage that Maud was nearly fainting.

Maud pointed at Vivian, trembling. "I'll tell Aaron, and he won't let you get away with this. Just you wait."

With that, Maud immediately dialed Aaron's number.

Vivian's expression changed slightly but she still said, "I don't care who you call. I'm not scared of the Abbott family anymore."

After all, Owen wanted Ramond to be adopted into the Richardson Family. With Ramond's blood ties to the Abbott family, Aaron couldn't escape this connection.

After all, Ramond was indeed Aaron's nephew.

A familiar ringtone echoed through the hall.

Susanna turned her head and saw Aaron and Owen walking in from the entrance.

Her amused expression faded a bit.

Susanna hadn't expected to see Aaron and Owen together in person.

She'd heard rumors that Owen and Aaron were discussing some deal, but with all the recent drama on Emerald Island, the news had been kept under wraps.

Seeing Owen and Aaron together now made her realize it wasn't just a rumor but a fact.

Maud immediately cried out upon seeing Aaron, "Aaron, you're finally here. You have to stand up for me. I was beaten in Philadelphia. If this gets out, where will the Abbott family's face go?"

Aaron took a few steps forward and helped Maud up, saying softly, "I'll have someone take you to the hospital."

"I'm not going to the hospital now. You have to stand up for me. Vivian pushed me to the ground. When have I ever been humiliated like this? She should be in jail in Lindwell. She's a fugitive here. Call the cops and arrest her."

Maud clung to Aaron's arm, determined to deal with Vivian today.

Susanna said with a half-smile, "Maud, I don't think even Aaron can fix this mess."

Maud glared and shouted, "What the hell are you talking about? How can Aaron not handle this? Dealing with Vivian is a piece of cake for him. A woman who's been to jail has no right to stay in Philly. She should be locked up in Lindwell."

Vivian smirked, "You didn't stay in Lindwell, so why should I? Why should I go to jail?"

"Because you're a low-born woman. How can you compare to me? Don't think that just because you've snagged a rich guy and had a kid, you can do whatever you want."

Susanna heard Maud's words and figured Maud was clueless.

Vivian laughed heartily, "Aaron, now you see how arrogant the Abbott family is?"

Aaron frowned and told his secretary, "Take her to the hospital."

Maud was instantly furious and shouted, "I'm not going to the hospital. Why should I go to the hospital? It feels like all of you are playing me for a fool. Tell me, why is Vivian standing here? Who's backing her?"

Maud was super pissed at the sight of Vivian and had to get to the bottom of it.

At this moment, Owen spoke slowly, "Maud, if we need to discuss things, why not go to a private room? There are too many people here, and it wouldn't be good if someone took pictures."

Especially now, Owen didn't want to be photographed.

Maud recognized Owen, and her expression softened a bit.

Seeing this, Susanna turned to leave, but Owen called out, "Ms. Jones, since we ran into each other, why not have a meal together? After all, we all know each other."

Susanna replied coldly, "Even though we know each other, I don't think there's any need to have a meal together."

She turned and walked towards the elevator, not wanting to go to the private room with them.

But Aaron quickly came to her side and asked in a low voice, "Did you come alone?"

Susanna replied coldly, "What's it to you? I'll have a meal with whoever I want."

Vivian strutted over in high heels and said, "Aaron, you probably don't know, but Ms. Jones is quite the notorious playgirl in Philly, with countless rumored boyfriends. She's not the orphan from Lindwell anymore."

Susanna glanced at Vivian and shot back, "Some people used to act all high and mighty, pretending they didn't like designer stuff. Now they're decked out in luxury brands. Just proves you can't hide what you really want."

Vivian gritted her teeth and said, "I wasn't interested in those things back then, but you people always looked down on me. Wasn't it because I had no money or power?"

"Do you think we can respect you now with your current status?"

Vivian angrily said, "Susanna, what did you say? Say it again if you dare. I'm not the same Vivian you used to bully."

"I said you're an illegitimate child who can't be taken seriously. No one can respect you."

At this time, Amelia walked out of the elevator.
