Chapter 562 Cut Out Your Little Schemes

Susanna caught Aaron's look, but she didn't flinch. She hadn't said anything wrong, after all. She could've just done nothing, but she busted her butt to make sure her kids had a secure future.

Vivian, seeing this, decided to stir the pot. "Aaron, look at Susanna. She doesn't care about your feelings at all." If she could drive a wedge between them and get Aaron to hand over all his assets to Ramond, she'd be set for life.

Aaron shot Vivian a cold glare. "Shut up. Who told you to call me that? Do you think we're close?"

Vivian felt a bit embarrassed but shot back, "Mr. Abbott, I'm just looking out for you. Sometimes, blood ties don't mean much. Since the Jones Family looks down on you, why bother pleasing them?"

Aaron's voice was icy. "Vivian, cut the crap. If you can't raise Ramond right, you don't need to stay with him."

"Aaron, you talk big. He's Owen's grandson now. How could he go back to the Abbott Family with you? He might end up being neglected by you. Staying here is more promising. Ramond isn't stupid; he knows what to choose." Vivian held Ramond's hand and gave them a long look. "Just wait and see. My kid and I will live much better than you."

Susanna suddenly laughed, mocking Vivian. "I don't know where you get your confidence. Just because you're Owen's illegitimate daughter? Even if Ramond becomes Owen's grandson, so what? The Richardson Family is nothing compared to the Jones Family. Don't mistake our courtesy towards Owen for fear."

Vivian was momentarily furious. "Fine, since you say so, let's wait and see. I won't let this go."

"Fine, I'll wait." Susanna had had enough. Vivian was getting cocky because of Owen. If she kept putting up with it, it would look like the Jones family was scared of Owen.

Previously, Susanna could tolerate her bad relationship with Vivian, but now it involved Charles, and she couldn't take it anymore. Her child was her bottom line.

After Vivian and Ramond left, the middle-aged woman didn't dare say more and quickly left. The teacher, Elodie, apologized, "Ms. Jones, I'm sorry. Ramond has a bad temper, but because of his status, we didn't dare to say anything."

Susanna nodded. "I get it, but Ramond will soon leave this school. I won't let anything threaten my child."

Susanna walked out, and Aaron followed her. Aaron was quiet for a moment, then said, "I'll handle this. Ramond can't stay with Vivian anymore."

Today, Aaron saw the changes in Ramond and realized the problem. If Ramond stayed with Vivian, he'd be ruined.

Susanna stopped and looked at him. "What's your plan? If Ramond stays with Vivian, you know what he'll become."

"I know. I'll find a way to take Ramond away."

"It won't be that easy. Owen's always wanted a son to take over the family business. He doesn't have a son, but a grandson is close enough. He won't let you take Ramond without a fight, and legally, the kid is Vivian's. You don't have any standing to fight for custody."

Unless Aaron revealed his background, but she knew that was impossible. If Aaron revealed his identity, Vivian would only become more aggressive.

Aaron paused and asked, "Is Charles okay? I heard they fought."

"You should be more worried about Ramond. Michael taught Charles self-defense, and he pinned Ramond to the ground and beat him up."

Aaron felt a wave of relief. He knew Charles had been through a lot since he was a kid. When he heard about the fight, he dropped everything and rushed over. But he didn't expect the kid fighting with Charles to be Ramond.

Susanna continued, "I've looked into the tattoo on Vivian's ankle. I think she might be the one who did it back then. I also tested Vivian by saying Maria's health was improving and she'd wake up soon. Vivian's reaction was strange, like she was really worried about Maria waking up."

Aaron said seriously, "I've also had people re-investigate the servants from back then. Although there's no concrete evidence, someone did see Vivian sneaking upstairs to find Grandma."

"But there's no direct evidence, right?" Even if she personally testified, there was no way to deal with Vivian.

Aaron looked at Susanna. "Since you say so, you must have a plan. I'll go along with whatever you say."

Susanna nodded. "Alright, you said it. I'll tell you what to do when the time comes."

After a brief conversation, Susanna walked out of the kindergarten, but Aaron still followed her. "Where are you headed now? I'll give you a ride."

Susanna replied, "No need, I have my own car, and I'm heading to the office."

"Velvet Sky Ballroom Hotel and the Abbott family working together is a win-win situation. In Lindwell, I can help Velvet Sky Ballroom Hotel grow."

Susanna turned to him. "I need to think about it. A lot of people want to work with me, and I need to consider it carefully."

"No matter who they are, in terms of investment or management, they can't compare to me."

"That's not necessarily true."

Aaron took a step closer. "There's one more thing they can't compare to me."

Aaron's eyes were intense, and Susanna turned her head. "What else do you have that's special?"

"I will never betray you. All the management rights of Velvet Sky Ballroom Hotel in Lindwell will be in your hands. I won't interfere, and I will never betray you. You should know this is rare in business."

Susanna lowered her eyes. "You're right." Then she looked up and added, "But that doesn't mean I'll choose you."

"But clearly, choosing me is the best choice for you."

Susanna squinted, feeling that Aaron's words had a deeper meaning.
