Chapter 525 I'm Still the President's Daughter
Amelia was fuming and lunged at Vivian.
But this time, Vivian caught her wrist and smirked, "Think you can still hit me? If I didn't let you, you'd never get the chance."
"So you did it on purpose."
"Yeah, I did. What are you gonna do about it? Go cry to Dad and see who he believes."
"You sneaky, vicious witch. Don't think your little trap will take me down. Keep dreaming. Dad's always leaned on my maternal grandparents. You really think he'd ditch me and Mom for you?"
Even though Amelia was mad, she still thought Owen was just being fooled.
Vivian shoved Amelia's wrist away and sneered, "We'll see. It's not my fault. Your mom couldn't give him a son. Dad's biggest dream is to have a son. Now that I've brought Ramond into the picture, he's got his heir."
"Just a kid. If my mom wanted, she could get a surrogate. Not just one son, but ten. Think your kid would still matter then?"
Vivian's face fell for a second. If that were true, it wouldn't be good for her.
But she quickly grinned, "If your mom could do that, she would've already. "
If Owen was so desperate for a kid, he would've gone the surrogate route already. The fact he hadn't meant he had his reasons.
Amelia's face changed too. She'd just thrown out the surrogacy idea without thinking. Even if Owen agreed, Paige wouldn't go for it.
Vivian, feeling smug, said, "Just roll with Raymond being the heir, and we can all chill together. But if you try to stop this, don't blame me for being ruthless."
She'd worked too hard to get here and wasn't about to give up.
If Ramond inherited everything, she'd be the mother of the Richardson heir. As the President's daughter, her status would skyrocket, and she'd no longer be the poor girl everyone picked on.
She'd get back at everyone who ever looked down on her.
"Vivian, keep dreaming. Even if I die, I won't let you and Ramond back into the Richardson family. Give it up."
Vivian sneered, "Fine, let's see."
"Wait," Susanna called out to Vivian.
Vivian turned around, looking smug. "Got something to say too?"
Susanna glanced at Vivian's bandaged foot, the same spot where she used to have a tattoo.
How convenient that her ankle got hurt?
Susanna eyed Vivian and said, "Oh, nothing much. Just that I got my memory back from five years ago and have a few questions for you."
"When did you get your memory back?" Vivian's eyes widened, and she instinctively pulled her foot back.
Then she remembered she had the tattoo removed and relaxed. "What does your memory have to do with me?"
With the tattoo gone, even if Susanna had seen it, there was no proof now.
Susanna said, "When my memory came back, I remembered being knocked out and seeing the person who did it."
Vivian's heart skipped a beat.
Susanna caught a flash of guilt on Vivian's face. So, Vivian was definitely suspicious.
The woman who knocked her out in Maria's room was probably Vivian.
Maria had always been against Vivian getting involved with the Abbott Family. Vivian wanted back in and had to get rid of Maria.
Vivian quickly composed herself. "Really? But wasn't the attacker caught? It was your college buddy Wendy. Even the cops confirmed it."
"Funny how you remember that so clearly after five years."
Susanna walked over and looked at Vivian's ankle. "I remember you had a tattoo there. Why's it gone now?"
Vivian nervously replied, "I had to get a skin graft because Maud spilled hot water on me, and I got rid of the tattoo at the same time."
Susanna said, "I remember Maud only spilled hot water on your body, not your foot. Are you hiding your tattoo out of guilt?" She grabbed Vivian's wrist.
"Susanna, what are you talking about? I removed the tattoo because of the burn, not out of guilt. I don't know what you're getting at."
Susanna's eyes were cold. "But I clearly saw the person who knocked me out had a tattoo just like yours on her ankle. Isn't it suspicious that you removed yours?"
Amelia walked over. "It was definitely her. She's using all these dirty tricks to get back into the Richardson Family. She could've gotten rid of Maria to get back into the Abbott Family back then."
Vivian shouted, "Amelia, stop making stuff up. Why would I get rid of Maria?"
"Because Maria didn't acknowledge your status, just like my mom now. Who can't see your intentions?"
"Amelia, you better watch what you say. If you want to accuse me over a tattoo, go ahead and call the cops."
Vivian yanked Susanna's hand away. "Don't think you can slander me just because you're with the Jones Family now. I'm still the President's daughter."
