Chapter 501 Super VIP Cards Also Have Levels

Amelia wasn't really into bags. She always got whatever she wanted since she was a kid.

But now that Vivian had her eyes on this bag, there was no way Amelia was letting that witch get it.

Vivian was trying to steal her dad and the Richardson family fortune. No way was she letting her snag this handbag too.

Vivian whipped out a card with a smug grin: "Sorry, but I’ve got a super VIP card. That means I get first dibs on everything in this store. And you? I heard Owen didn’t spoil his kids with too many perks to set a good example. So, no VIP card for you, huh?"

She was so sure she had this in the bag.

Amelia’s face turned red with anger. She didn’t have a super VIP card and never cared about it before.

If she wanted something, she’d just use Paige’s card.

But she never thought Owen would give Vivian a super VIP card. It felt like a slap in the face.

Vivian looked at the store manager and said, "I’m a VIP, so I get priority. Wrap this bag up for me."

The assistant sneered, "Yeah, our Vivian is a super VIP. That’s a whole different level. Just look at this card and see who’s the favorite daughter."

Amelia was livid. "It’s just a VIP card. What’s the big deal? If I wanted one, I could get it anytime."

Vivian smirked, "Oh really? Then go get one and compete with me. But since you don’t have a super VIP card right now, stop talking big. Sorry, but this bag is mine today."

Just then, Susanna put her hand on the bag.

She looked at the store manager and said, "We saw this bag first. According to the rules, we should get first dibs."

The assistant shot back, "Didn’t you hear? Vivian is a super VIP. That’s different from you regular VIPs."

Susanna calmly pulled out a super VIP card: "What now? I’m also a super VIP. Isn’t that a coincidence?"

Vivian’s face changed instantly.

Vivian glared at Susanna and said, "You’re not even buying a bag. Why are you butting in?"

Vivian knew Susanna was also a super VIP.

Years ago, Susanna had used this super VIP card to piss off Maud in Lindwell, so Vivian remembered it well.

She had desperately wanted a super VIP card since then.

It seemed like having this card would erase her poor past and make her truly wealthy.

The assistant was stunned. She didn’t expect Susanna to have a super VIP card too. What now?

Susanna looked at Vivian and said, "Sorry, but I want this bag. Even if you have the right to buy it, you don’t have the right to get it."

Vivian was furious. She had worked so hard to become a super VIP just to get back at them!

But she didn’t expect Susanna to step in to help Amelia.

Vivian looked at the store manager, unwilling to give up, and said, "I’m also a super VIP, and I want this bag too. I even called ahead to let your store know I was coming to see this bag today. According to first-come, first-served, I should be first."

Susanna smirked, "Vivian, even with your super VIP status, you clearly don’t get the rules. Limited edition bags can’t be reserved just by making a call, even if you’re a super VIP. Wanna know why?"

Vivian had no clue but wasn’t about to admit it.

Amelia jumped in, "Because super VIPs are ranked by how much they spend. If two people want the same bag, the one who’s spent more gets it. You probably just got your VIP card, right? Have you even spent a million bucks yet?"

Vivian was speechless, totally caught off guard.

She had only spent a couple million recently. She didn’t have much pocket money and mostly just window-shopped.

Seeing Vivian’s face, Amelia twisted the knife, "But Susanna’s different. Her super VIP card is ranked way higher, probably with spending in the tens of millions. Your one or two million doesn’t even come close."

Vivian gritted her teeth, and the assistant blurted out, "They’re both super VIPs. Why can’t Vivian buy it? So what if her spending isn’t as high? She’ll spend that much in the future. She just got her card, so her total spending isn’t high yet."

Vivian’s face softened, "Exactly. Who knows whose rank will be higher in the future."

Amelia sneered, "How clueless can you be? If you don’t get it, don’t embarrass yourself by pretending to be rich. A child born of a mistress is still a mistress’s child, unpresentable and disgraceful."

Vivian, fuming, shot back, "You probably don’t know, but Owen plans to groom my son Ramond to be the successor of The Richardson Family. In the future, everything in the family will belong to Ramond. A super VIP card is nothing. What are you so proud of? In the future, everything will be mine."

With that, Vivian stormed off.

She was definitely going to get back at them for today’s humiliation.

Susanna was also taken aback when she heard Vivian say that Owen wanted to groom Ramond as the heir.

It seemed she had underestimated the obsession of those who favored sons over daughters. A kid that young would take years to grow up.

Plus, Owen had reached his current position with the help of Paige’s family, but now he was changing his mind because of a boy.

Amelia collapsed on the sofa, "Susanna, what should I do? My mom’s health hasn’t been great these past few years. If she finds out about this, she’ll be devastated. She loves my dad so much and has never doubted him."

But who could’ve predicted that the most unpredictable thing in this world is the human heart?

For a moment, Susanna didn’t know how to comfort her.

After a pause, she said, "Actually, I knew about this from the start but kept it from you. I didn’t tell you the truth. Even your run-in with Vivian today was set up by me."

Susanna spilled everything.

Amelia looked at her in disbelief, "Why did you do this?"
