Chapter 337 Why Is There Another Man

Aaron, the big shot heir of the Abbott family, had always been the golden boy, never treated like this before.

His face turned ice-cold as he snapped, "You better zip it, or you won't see tomorrow's sunrise."

Fuming, Aaron decided to bail, but just as he was about to storm out, a voice from inside the room stopped him, "Leaving already?"

Aaron froze. He hadn't expected Susanna to be inside.

He spun around and barged in. The kid tried to block him but got shoved aside with a slap.

Aaron stormed into the room and saw Susanna lounging on the sofa in a black camisole nightgown, her wet hair draped over her shoulders, fresh out of the shower.

Seeing this, he gritted his teeth and demanded, "Are you seeing other guys besides me?"

Before Susanna could say anything, the kid next to her whined and rushed to her side. "Babe, you saw it, he pushed me on purpose. My arm's scraped."

Seeing the scrape, Susanna immediately said, "Samuel, be careful. We'll get a doctor to check it out later to avoid scarring."

"I want you to put the medicine on for me."

Susanna looked a bit helpless as Samuel clung to her arm. Glancing up at Aaron with a faint look of concern, she quickly added, "Please don't get the wrong idea. He's just a friend who came to see me after hearing I was here."

Aaron's skepticism grew. 'What a lame excuse,' he thought. 'Does she really think I'll buy that?'

The vibe got a bit awkward.

Susanna looked at Samuel and said, "Why don't you go see the doctor first? I need to talk to Mr. Abbott. We can meet tomorrow."

"No way, I think I twisted my ankle earlier. I can't walk now. I need to chill here for a bit." Samuel refused to leave and stayed on the sofa.

Aaron snorted, "If he doesn't leave, I will."

"Wait, Mr. Abbott, please sit for a bit," Susanna pleaded.

Aaron paused, reluctantly plopping down on a nearby sofa. He shot a disapproving glance at Samuel, his displeasure clear as day. Susanna looked at Samuel and suggested, "Why don't you have a friend come pick you up?"

Reluctantly, Samuel pulled out his phone and sent a message, shooting Aaron a hostile look before saying, "Babe, your taste has changed. You actually like someone so much older than you."

Aaron's eyes turned icy, exuding a dangerous vibe.

Samuel immediately shut up.

Susanna quickly mediated, "Mr. Abbott, don't take it personally with a kid."

Aaron felt even angrier!

Before long, a bunch of boys rushed into the room, heading straight for Susanna, saying, "Babe, why did it take you so long to come?"

"Last time you said you'd take me to see the sunrise, remember?"

"Babe, you said you'd take me to that fancy restaurant. You didn't forget, did you?"

Suddenly, Susanna found herself surrounded. With a quick smile, she replied, "I remember, but one at a time, don't rush."

Pushed aside, Samuel shot Aaron a dirty look. "Someone like you, who doesn't take initiative, has no chance. It's pointless," he sneered.

Aaron finally had enough. He stood up, looked at the boys, and slowly took off his watch, chucking it towards the door. "Whoever grabs it, it's his."

Everyone was stunned.

Samuel scoffed, "How much could that watch be worth?"

Susanna raised an eyebrow. "Not much, just about eight million dollars."

As soon as she said that, the boys, including the injured Samuel, immediately bolted for the door.

Aaron walked over, shut the door, and locked it. Finally, some peace and quiet.

Susanna raised an eyebrow at Aaron and remarked, "An eight-million-dollar watch, and you just tossed it away?"

Aaron walked towards her, saying, "So your taste in men is trash. They ran for a measly eight million dollars."

"Who can resist money? If you give me eight million dollars, I'd leave too," Susanna shot back.

Aaron fixed his gaze on Susanna, his expression serious. "Why did you ask me to come here?"

"I wouldn't call you over in the middle of the night just to chat. Mr. Abbott, are you really that naive?"

Aaron's gaze darkened. Seeing her confident expression and dimples, he felt a surge of anger.

He suddenly walked towards her, leaned over, and pinned her to the sofa, looking down at her. "Since Ms. Ramirez hinted so clearly, wouldn't it be a shame if I didn't do something?"

As Aaron closed in, Susanna's heart skipped a beat. Aaron was proving to be quite unpredictable. The next second, she was lifted off the ground by Aaron.

Susanna found herself in the bedroom, sensing a shift in the atmosphere. "Mr. Abbott, what are you doing?" she questioned, feeling the soft bed against her back as Aaron loomed over her, his voice soft and taunting. "Isn't this what you wanted? Regretting it now?"

Susanna refused to show weakness as she met Aaron's gaze, and in a bold move, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pushed him onto the bed.

Taking control of the situation, she stood above him, a smirk playing on her lips. "Mr. Abbott, does this mean you agree to date me? Good. I'll get you the special medicine, but if you want to date me, you must follow my rules."

Her hair cascaded in loose curls, and her smile held a hint of mischief, as she awaited Aaron's reaction.

Aaron was momentarily dazed, his eyes narrowing. "What rules?"

"To be my boyfriend, you must be wholeheartedly good to me, with only me in your heart. From now on, you can only be good to me; you must pamper me and never lie to me; you must fulfill every promise you make to me; every word you say to me must be sincere. You can't lie to me or scold me; you must care for me. When others bully me, you must come to my aid immediately; when I'm happy, you must be happy with me; when I'm unhappy, you must cheer me up." Susanna outlined a series of expectations.

Aaron chuckled softly. So she wanted his commitment?

After Susanna finished speaking, she placed her hand on his face and added, "Most importantly, you must forget about your ex-wife."

Hearing this, the smile in Aaron's eyes instantly vanished.
