Chapter 265 There Are So Many Counterfeits These Days

Susanna watched Ivy and Sienna and thought, "They haven't changed a bit."

Taylor, looking serious, said, "These fruits are for Mrs. Abbott."

"She's divorced from Aaron. Why still call her Mrs. Abbott? It's generous enough not to kick her out, and she still wants fruit?"

"Yeah, these imported fruits are pricey. You probably can't afford them after leaving the Abbott family."

Not wanting to argue, Susanna glanced at Taylor and said, "Bring them another plate of fruit."

Taylor quickly brought another plate, plopping it in front of Ivy and Sienna, then gently handed Susanna a glass of juice.

"Thanks."

Susanna sipped her juice and noticed Ivy and Sienna taking selfies, trying to find the perfect angle.

She looked a little speechless, "If you keep squeezing like that, your implants might pop."

Ivy got mad. "What do you mean, fake implants? My breasts are natural; I got them from my mom."

Sienna chimed in, "Yeah, Ivy's figure is great. Some skinny people can only be jealous."

"Naturally fake implants!" Susanna shot back.

Every New Year, Sienna showed up with a different bust size. This time, even Ivy's had changed.

Ivy and Sienna were annoyed. Ivy asked, "Susanna, is that outfit a new designer piece? Where'd you get such a similar knockoff?"

"I bought it at the mall," Susanna replied coolly.

"How could such a fake be bought at the mall?"

Susanna smirked. "Why don't you guess?"

Just then, they heard a vehicle outside.

Ivy and Sienna exchanged looks. "Ivy, do you think it's Aaron?"

"Probably. Since Mrs. Maria Abbott is out of the hospital, Aaron will definitely visit. Mom, how's my makeup? Pretty?" Ivy asked.

"Yes, very pretty. You'll definitely catch Aaron's eye today. Marrying into a wealthy family is just around the corner. Some people can only be jealous," Sienna replied.

Susanna was speechless. She calmly sipped her juice as Ivy's voice rang out, "Aaron, I missed you so much!"

Suddenly, a scream from Ivy came from outside.

Susanna looked and saw Ivy had fallen on the lawn, looking embarrassed. She couldn't help but smile and looked at Aaron. "Can't you show Ivy a little more care?"

"Yeah, why didn't you catch her? She fell badly!" Sienna helped the limping Ivy inside, looking annoyed.

Aaron glanced at them, frowning. "Who are you?"

Susanna burst out laughing. Aaron didn't recognize them?

Sienna quickly said, "I'm your aunt, and she's my daughter, your cousin!"

Aaron's face stayed cold. "I don't have an aunt, let alone a cousin."

"Aaron, you're so heartless, pretending you don't know us," Ivy complained.

Aaron, losing patience, looked at Taylor. "Send them out!"

Taylor, who never liked Ivy and Sienna, quickly said, "Please, the exit is this way."

Seeing things go south, Sienna started wailing, "Mrs. Maria Abbott, we heard you were discharged, so we brought gifts, and now we're being kicked out!"

Susanna frowned. "Quiet down, you'll wake Grandma."

Did they not know Maria was resting?

"What's all this noise?"

The elevator doors opened, and Maria stepped out. She smiled at Susanna. "Susanna, come here and let me see you."

Susanna stood up, but Ivy rushed over, wailing, "Mrs. Maria Abbott!"

Maria sidestepped, and Ivy fell again. Susanna winced at the sound.

Maria patted her chest. "I can't handle your attacks. Susanna, come here."

Susanna smiled, helped Maria to the sofa, and asked, "Grandma, did we wake you?"

"It's fine. I've slept enough. Time to wake up, or I won't sleep tonight."

Sienna squeezed through with a gift box. "Mrs. Maria Abbott, I got you a limited edition scarf from a renowned brand."

"Really? Let me see," Maria said.

Susanna noticed the box looked just like the one she bought. Coincidence?

Sienna opened the box, revealing three scarves, and turned to Susanna. "You bought a scarf too, right? Show Mrs. Maria Abbott."

Susanna opened her box, revealing identical scarves.

Awkward silence.

Sienna said, "Susanna, why buy a fake? Mrs. Maria Abbott loves scarves. If she wears a fake, it would embarrass the Abbott family."

Maria looked at both boxes and knew which was real and which was fake.

Susanna smiled. "Who bought the fake one is still uncertain."

"Susanna, you're an orphan with no support. How could you afford a scarf worth tens of thousands?" Ivy sneered.

Susanna sighed and pulled out a receipt. "Here's my receipt. Want to verify it?"

"Impossible!" Ivy yelled.

Sienna scrutinized the receipt. It looked real, making her uneasy. She rolled her eyes. "Anything can be forged nowadays."

"Yeah, with your status, you can't afford it. Stop pretending," Ivy added.

Susanna looked at Aaron. "I went to the mall with him today. He can vouch for me."

Ivy and Sienna froze, caught off guard by Aaron's involvement.

They exchanged uncertain glances, unsure how to respond. This twist had thrown them into a dilemma.
