Chapter 322 Lillian's Six Uncles

Susanna looked at Lillian, who they finally found, and her face was all lit up with joy, no fear in sight. But man, she was tired.

She was gonna get her brothers on a video call to give Lillian a good scolding, but things went sideways. Her brothers were all smiles, calling Lillian "sweetheart," and Susanna was getting more and more ticked off.

Lillian, with her sweet little voice, asked, "Uncle Edward, am I amazing?"

Edward grinned. "Totally amazing! Learning to fly all by yourself at your age? That's something else."

"Yeah, Lillian's really something," Austin added. "Did you miss me while you were out having fun?"

Lillian nodded. "Yeah, I missed you a lot."

Austin melted at her voice. It was just too cute, something only Susanna's kid could pull off.

Charles was next to Aviana, watching Lillian on the screen. "Was Radiant Valley fun?"

"It was, but it rained too much."

Charles looked a bit jealous. "Be careful next time."

Susanna saw the loneliness in Charles's eyes and couldn't help but say, "Next time the weather's good, I'll take you there too."

Charles nodded. "Okay, Mommy."

For a moment, Susanna felt uneasy. Both Charles and Lillian had been fragile since they were born early.

Charles, especially, had always been sickly and allergic to a bunch of stuff, especially seafood. Susanna was always scared to take him to the beach, worried the sea air might set off his allergies.

Lillian seemed to get it and said, "Charles, Uncle Edward, Aunt Aviana, Uncle Arthur, Uncle Austin, Uncle Brian, Uncle Daniel, Uncle Justin, bye-bye."

Susanna turned off the video, feeling a bit down.

Lillian snuggled up to her and whispered, "Mommy, I won't run off anymore, I'm sorry!"

"Is it because Charles can't travel that you always said you didn't want to go on trips?" Susanna asked.

She didn't expect Lillian to be so happy at Radiant Valley, dancing around like she was in a fairy tale.

"Mommy, if Charles can't go everywhere, and I go without him, he'll be so sad! I don't want him to feel left out and sad!" Lillian said, worried about her brother.

Seeing Lillian being so thoughtful, Susanna's heart melted. She hugged Lillian. She had planned to have a serious talk with her after the video call, but seeing Lillian's empathy, she just couldn't do it.

Just then, Abel brought some food.

Lillian greeted him sweetly, "Hi, Abel."

"Hi, Miss Jones."

Seeing Lillian safe, Abel was relieved. If something had happened to her, Radiant Valley might've been in big trouble.

Lillian wriggled out of Susanna's hug and ran to the dining cart. She picked a yummy-looking dessert and brought it back to Susanna with a big smile. "Mommy, try this, it's so good!"

Susanna looked at it. "How do you know?"

"Because I've had all these desserts before." Lillian suddenly covered her mouth, realizing she let something slip.

Susanna narrowed her eyes. "Alright, spill it. What else are you hiding from me?"

"Mommy, these were all sent by the hotel 'cause Uncle Aaron asked them to."

"Uncle Aaron? You mean Mr. Abbott?"

"Yeah, he’s the one who brought me from the airport to the hotel."

Susanna's eyes widened a bit. She didn't think Aaron was that bad, even though he was tight with Sam.

She always felt like she'd seen Aaron somewhere before, but she just couldn't place it.

"Mommy, when's my watch gonna be fixed?" Lillian asked, holding up her water-damaged watch.

Susanna took the watch. "How did it end up in the water?"

Lillian's face scrunched up in anger. "Some mean lady grabbed it, and it fell into a cup." Her little fist clenched as she remembered how her precious watch got ruined.

Realizing it was Vivian who caused the mess, Susanna handed the watch to Abel. "Get this fixed."

Lillian looked at her watch eagerly, standing on her tiptoes. "Abel, fix it quick."

"Don't worry, Miss Jones, I'll get it done right away." Abel took the watch and left.

"Why are you so eager to use the phone watch? You never cared about it this much before," Susanna said, noticing Lillian's messy hair. She sat behind her niece, ready to fix her hair.

Lillian was thrilled with her new hairstyle. "Because I can call Uncle Aaron."

Susanna raised an eyebrow. "You like him that much?"

A cheeky grin spread across Lillian's face. "Uncle Aaron is really nice. Mommy, can I have a new daddy?"

Susanna knew Lillian had come to Radiant Valley secretly to find Sam. Her eyes darkened as she asked, "Didn't you say having six uncles was just like having a daddy? Changed your mind?"

Lillian pouted. "I was just curious. But I don't want Sam to be my daddy; I want Uncle Aaron to be my daddy."

It was the first time Susanna saw Lillian like a man so much, which was really rare.

With a smile, she playfully responded, "Alright, I'll go after him and make him your daddy."

She would do anything for Lillian. After all, she owed Charles and Lillian so much.

Later that night at the auction, Aaron and Sam walked in, both wearing masks like everyone else. It was a private event, known for auctioning off some shady stuff, so masks were a must to avoid any trouble.

Aaron snagged a prime seat, right in the center of the front row. As he settled in, he felt someone staring at him. Looking around, all he saw were masked faces, making it impossible to figure out who was watching him.

Suddenly, a woman in a white camisole appeared in the crowd. Her dress was super sexy, grabbing everyone's attention.

She walked up to Aaron and Sam, smiling. "Can't tell it's me with all these masks?"

Sam recognized the voice. "Vivian?"

"Yep."

"Vivian, you look really nice today." Sam said, finding it odd. Vivian usually dressed conservatively; why the sudden change?

Aaron stayed silent, showing no reaction.

Just then, there was a commotion at the door.

A woman in a bright red dress walked in, her golden hair flowing over her shoulders, and her smooth skin made her look stunning!

Every guy in the room turned to look at her. Aaron's eyes locked onto her. Squinting slightly, he couldn't help but wonder, was it really her?
