Chapter 399 Then You Go Die First

Susanna was in a mood, her face showing she was done with everyone's crap.

Now that she knew Maud and Vivian were behind this, things got a whole lot clearer.

Maud freaked out, yelling, "You psycho! What the hell do you want?"

Susanna's eyes had this dangerous glint as she stared Maud down. "If you don't wanna end up dead, hand over the bone marrow!"

Maud was too scared to even talk, thinking Nova had gone full-on scary mode.

Vivian stepped up, acting all protective next to Maud. Maud looked like she was about to cry with gratitude.

Vivian smirked, "Ms. Ramirez, is that any way to talk to Aunt Maud? That bone marrow ain't yours; it's Aaron's. Maybe try asking nicely?"

Vivian's voice dripped with arrogance. She'd been waiting for Nova to come crawling.

Maud puffed up a bit. "Yeah, what she said!"

Susanna grabbed a piece of broken glass from the table and started walking towards Maud, her voice icy. "What kind of attitude do you think someone asking for help should have?"

Her vibe was intense, eyes full of anger, and she looked downright scary.

Maud was shaking, stammering, "What do you want? Stay back! My son is Aaron. If you hurt me, he'll come for you!"

Vivian jumped in front of Maud. "Ms. Ramirez, Aunt Maud did this 'cause you can't be trusted. If you want the bone marrow, you better apologize, not wave that glass around!"

Maud chimed in, "Yeah, I just want you to keep your word. But look at you now; you think you deserve Aaron's bone marrow?"

Vivian, feeling smug, added, "Ms. Ramirez, if you fix your attitude, Aunt Maud might just hand it over."

Susanna's eyes were cold as ice. "So what do you want me to do?"

Vivian smirked, "You were just smashing bottles and hurting Aunt Maud. How about you kneel and apologize? Maybe then she'll give you the bone marrow."

Maud nodded quickly. "Yeah, kneel and apologize, and I might forgive you."

Susanna laughed coldly. "You think I'm here to negotiate?"

She glanced at her bodyguard. "Tie these two up!"

Her bodyguards stormed in, tying up the stunned Maud and Vivian, pinning them to the ground.

Maud, who thought she'd seen it all, never expected Nova to go this hard.

Pinned down, Maud looked like a mess, food stuck to her, like a trapped animal.

Maud snapped, "If you treat me like this, Aaron will never let you off the hook. Forget about getting that bone marrow back. I'd rather toss it than give it to your daughter!"

Vivian, even though she was pissed, had a glint of satisfaction in her eyes. This was exactly what she wanted.

"Real tough, huh?"

Susanna stepped forward and stomped on Maud's hand, making her scream in pain!

Vivian's jaw dropped. She couldn't believe Nova actually did that!

Susanna squatted in front of Maud, holding a piece of the broken wine bottle, her eyes cold. "From the moment I walked into this villa, you lost any right to negotiate. I've always said my daughter is my line in the sand, but you all keep pushing. Since you're asking for it, don't blame me for what happens next."

Maud was in so much pain she couldn't speak, her face pale. "Aaron won't let you get away with this."

"And what do you think Aaron can do?"

For Charles's life-saving bone marrow, nothing was going to stop her! She came ready for this!

Vivian, seeing this, said, "Ms. Ramirez, let Aunt Maud go. If you have issues, come at me. Why make things hard for an elder?"

Sounded pretty loyal, right?

Susanna turned to Vivian, her tone chilling. "Oh, I almost forgot about you!"

She slapped Vivian hard. "Since you want to die, I'll help you out!"

Vivian's cheek swelled up instantly, and she glared at Susanna. "If you treat us like this, Aaron won't let you go."

"Alright, let's see how he plans to stop me."

Susanna kicked Vivian, making her twist in pain. She probably didn't expect Nova to actually kick her!

Vivian clutched her stomach. "There's surveillance here. I'll call the cops and sue you."

"Oh, there's surveillance? Thanks for the heads-up."

Her bodyguard smashed the surveillance camera and crushed the memory card!

Susanna smirked. "Now there's no evidence."

Vivian finally felt a bit scared. She'd seen how ruthless Nova could be in Radiant Valley, so she shouted, "This is a society ruled by law. If you abuse us, the Abbott family won't let you go."

Susanna bent down, pressing the broken wine bottle against Vivian's face. "I'll ask you one last time, where's the bone marrow?"

Vivian definitely knew where it was.

Vivian felt the cold glass on her face and was scared, but she forced herself to say, "I don't know where the bone marrow is."

She was betting Nova wouldn't actually hurt her!

Susanna's voice was filled with rage. "You don't know? Then don't blame me for what happens next!"

She slashed.

Blood splattered onto her face, the bright red color striking.
