Chapter 109 Frederick Banned on Instagram

"I'm sorry."

Seeing the displeasure on Frederick's face, Tom lowered his head, his expression showing a hint of apology.

Frederick sank into the couch, closed his eyes, and waved his hand. "You're dismissed."

Upon hearing the words, Tom nodded slightly and quietly retreated.

When Mary came out of the servant's room, she saw Frederick sitting on the couch, his face filled with distress.

"Mr. Hastings. Have you been drinking?" Mary asked softly.

Frederick opened his eyes, scanned Mary briefly, and nodded slightly.

Seeing that his complexion wasn't too good, likely due to networking and drinking outside all this time, Mary sighed lightly.
"I'll go prepare vegetable soup to sober you up."

Frederick didn't respond. Observing his reaction, Mary sighed softly and went into the kitchen to prepare vegetable soup for Frederick.

After preparing the vegetable soup, Mary brought it to the living room, but Frederick had already stood up from the couch, planning to go upstairs.

Mary called out to Frederick. "Mr. Hastings, the vegetable soup is ready."

Frederick halted his steps, and Mary immediately brought it to him. "Mr. Hastings, you'll feel a bit better after drinking the vegetable soup."

Furrowing his brow, Frederick looked at the vegetable soup in front of him, memories flooding his mind.
He remembered in the first year of his marriage to Amelia, when Hastings Group was in crisis, he too would network every day.

After returning home, Amelia always prepared a bowl of vegetable soup. However, at that time, Frederick didn't like Amelia so he had never tasted her prepared vegetable soup. He just asked her not to waste her efforts.

Now, thinking back on these things, Frederick felt as if the vegetable soup he had just drunk was stuck in his throat. He sighed heavily, feeling uncomfortable in his chest. After handing the bowl back to Mary, he said in a cold voice, "You don't need to prepare anymore, I'm fine."

Mary simply hung her head without replying. Frederick returned to the bedroom with a stern face.

The next day, at Davis Manor, when Amelia woke up, Anna was still sleeping beside her. She moved slowly, trying not to wake the little one next to her.

However, as soon as she got out of bed, Anna opened her eyes and saw Amelia getting up. She sat on the bed, rubbed her eyes, and looked at Amelia.

"Mommy, hug me."

Seeing her awake and asking for a hug, Amelia immediately reached out and hugged her in her arms. "Did mommy wake you up?"

Anna shook her head, "No."

As she spoke, she tilted her head up and kissed Amelia's face. Amelia's heart was instantly healed, and she got up with Anna and went into the bathroom to freshen up. Anna stood on a little bench, brushing her teeth carefully. Susan heard the noise and knocked on the door, entering the room.

She saw that Amelia had already dressed Anna, so she went over and picked Anna up. "Mommy is going to work now, can Anna and Susan play together?"

Anna nodded. She had long been accustomed to Amelia's busy schedule. While they were in Fondaniss, Amelia had to insist on completing her studies. Anna was breastfed for the first six months, and then switched to formula. Occasionally, in the quiet of the night, Amelia looked at Anna lying next to her and felt that she had spent too little time with her. So, whenever she had a break, Amelia almost always prioritized Anna.

Amelia went downstairs, had breakfast, and waved goodbye to Anna before leaving home. As she drove out of the garage, Sebastian's car entered the yard.

Their cars passed each other. Sebastian lowered his car window first and greeted Amelia. "Amelia."

Amelia saw Sebastian and smiled slightly, "Mr. Kingsley, good morning." After a brief greeting, Amelia drove away from Davis Manor.

Sebastian parked the car and took out the prepared gift from the trunk. As he passed by the garden of Davis Manor, he saw Anna squatting next to a pot of blooming and vibrant flowers, fully engrossed in her observation.

Sebastian had only learned about Anna yesterday from an online article. Rachel had kept any information about Amelia from him for the past three years.

Curiosity got the best of Sebastian as he couldn't help but approach the small figure.

Anna was squatting in front of the flower pot, with a small butterfly perched on a blossom. She hesitated for a moment before reaching out her hand, being extra cautious.

As Sebastian walked closer, he accidentally stepped on a dried branch, causing the butterfly to fly away immediately.

Anna turned her round, wide eyes and saw Sebastian standing nearby. She blinked in response.

Her eyes showed no fear that one would usually have when faced with a stranger; instead, she curiously examined him.

Upon seeing Anna's adorable and well-behaved appearance, Sebastian smiled and aimed to show his most charitable side to the child.

When Anna saw the unfamiliar man in front of her, her face displayed a trace of surprise. She immediately stood up and ran to find Susan.

Susan bent down to pick up Anna. Upon seeing Sebastian, Susan politely greeted him, "Mr. Kingsley."

Sebastian nodded and cast his gaze upon Anna's face. "Is this Amelia's child?"

Susan nodded slightly without saying much. Changing the subject, she invited Sebastian into the living room of Davis Manor.

Rachel had worked overtime last night and had just woken up.

Sebastian had been wanting to get married for the past two years. As soon as Vincent returned to the country, he couldn't wait to meet him.
Rachel didn't try to stop him either. Rachel was also reaching an age where getting married seemed appropriate.

After Rachel finished getting ready and came downstairs, she saw Sebastian holding Anna, taking selfies.

Anna had a natural flair for the camera and cooperated perfectly with Sebastian throughout.

When Rachel came downstairs, she walked directly to Sebastian's side and reached out to hold Anna in her arms.

Sebastian held up his phone and quickly gestured for Rachel to sit beside him, capturing a photo before selecting and posting it on Instagram.

Seeing his actions, Rachel raised her eyebrows.

She leaned in and quickly glanced at the photo, noticing that he had already edited the caption and was about to post it. She grabbed his hand.

"Block Frederick."

Sebastian paused for a moment.

"Why?" he asked.

Rachel glanced at him with a serious expression. "You can't post it unless you block him."

Sebastian thought it wouldn't be appropriate if Frederick saw him getting along too well with Daniel and Amelia's daughter after all.

But this child was just too cute, and he was practically her uncle, so it was okay to have a good relationship with her.

However, Frederick still had feelings for Amelia, so it would make him uncomfortable to see them together. Therefore, when he posted on Instagram, he actually blocked Frederick.

After Sebastian posted on Instagram, many people liked it right away. Some even commented that they hadn't seen them in a few days and that Sebastian and Rachel's child had grown so much.

Sebastian looked at the pile of compliments about the child below and felt proud. He reached out and pulled Rachel into his arms, immediately saying, "We should have a daughter in the future."
