Chapter 205 He Didn't Want Amelia and Jesse to Get Too Close
Frederick had brought a professional search and rescue team and search dogs with him.
Anna suddenly felt a coolness on her arm at the top of the Fantasy Fortress. She opened her eyes and saw a pair of big round eyes. A dog was sniffing her arm with its big nose. The sleepy little girl was immediately scared and started crying.

Amelia felt guilty when she thought about how the staff had actively dispersed the visitors to help find Anna and compensated the visitors.

The indoor amusement park belonged to the Hastings Group. Even the mall was under the Hastings Group.
Frederick didn't ask Amelia for compensation, and his subordinates didn't dare to speak up.

On her way back to the Davis Manor, Amelia noticed that Anna had been silent the whole time. She glanced over and saw that Anna was hugging Frederick's neck, leaning on his shoulder, fast asleep.
Frederick sat upright the entire time as if any movement would wake Anna.
Amelia couldn't help but smile when she saw how serious he looked. He looked more serious than he was in meetings.
"It's hard to wake her up once she's asleep," Amelia said.
Anna had always been a good sleeper.
Amelia reached out to take Anna into her arms, but Frederick adjusted his position, laying Anna flat on his arm, showing no intention of giving the child back to her.
Amelia withdrew her hand when she saw that.
If he wanted to hold her, then let him.

The security guard at the entrance saw Frederick's car and let Carl drive it into the Davis Manor yard.

Frederick was the first to carry Anna out of the car.

He walked past Amelia, carrying Anna straight into the house.

Daniel had been staying at a hotel recently. He had come to the Davis Manor to move his belongings today.
Since the incident with Ruth, when Amelia had asked him about renovations, he had understood the hidden meaning in her words.
He felt embarrassed to continue staying at the Davis Manor.
He had already bought furniture and other things for his house. He had also seen Amelia taking Todd to Jesse's bar to show off, so he had come over to ask about the situation.
He didn't want Amelia and Jesse to get too close.
