Chapter 353 Fighting Over a Woman

Scott stood aside, watching Sebastian clutch his face in pain. He stepped forward and stopped in front of him, speaking up. "Do you need to go to the hospital?"

Sebastian snorted and replied, "This little injury doesn't warrant a hospital visit."

Scott's eyes showed a hint of coldness. He reached out and grabbed Sebastian's arm, pulling Sebastian up from the couch.

Scott had noticed when Sebastian fell that his arm had hit the ground hard. Frederick's kick had been brutal and without mercy, clearly suggesting Sebastian's arm might be fractured.

Sure enough, Sebastian immediately let out a painful groan. "What are you doing?!" His voice was tinged with anger. His arm was already hurting, and now, with Scott's pull, it felt like it had been dislocated.

"Sorry, I didn't know your hand was injured. I was trying to help you up to take you to the hospital." Scott quickly apologized.

Sebastian shot him a cold glance and lay back down on the couch. He replied, "No need, I can endure this."

Scott's eyes glinted with a hint of malice.

"Suit yourself." After saying this, Scott walked past Sebastian. Whether intentionally or not, when he moved the liquor table back, he accidentally bumped into Sebastian's injured arm again.

Sebastian's face turned pale with pain.

Amber witnessed the whole thing and could easily tell that Scott's actions were not entirely accidental.

Scott harbored feelings for Amelia, a fact Amber had learned only after Amelia's return to the country. Earlier, Sebastian had referred to Amelia as a "bitch" in Scott's presence, undoubtedly fueling Scott's dissatisfaction.

Seeing Sebastian sweating from the pain and still lying on the couch, Scott reached out and pulled his injured arm again, dragging him up from the couch and pulling him toward the door. Scott advised, "You should still go to the hospital."

Sebastian, in pain, shook off Scott's hand, indicating he could walk on his own.

Scott coldly smiled and followed behind Sebastian.

After taking a few steps, he seemed to remember something. He stopped and coldly glanced at Amber standing in the room. He snapped, "Aren't you leaving yet?"

Amber was stunned for a moment, her expression changing slightly. Amber would rather offend Frederick than Scott.

After all, Scott was ruthless, someone she couldn't afford to offend. So, in front of Scott, Amber almost didn't dare to speak ill of Amelia.

She hurriedly left the private room, her head down. As she passed by Scott, his voice cut through the air with a chilling edge, barely audible to anyone else. "Get out of here and stay abroad, useless waste."

Amber's stride faltered momentarily, and she quickened her pace as she left.

Although Sebastian didn't hold Frederick accountable and signed a letter of understanding, the video of their bar fight still circulated in a small circle.

Upon hearing the news, Felix immediately contacted the media, offering other celebrities' scandals in exchange for keeping the fight video under wraps. He also bought the original videos and asked those who recorded them to delete their copies.

Despite these efforts, the video continued to spread, particularly within the bar's staff group.

On the other side, after drying her hair, Amelia returned to her room and checked her phone. She still did not see any messages from Frederick.

She frowned, worried that something had happened to Frederick on the way, and dialed his number.

Frederick quickly answered, his tone as gentle as it had been during the day. "Amelia, what's up?"

Hearing his voice without any abnormality, Amelia felt relieved and asked calmly. "Aren't you home yet?"

Frederick's right hand, holding the steering wheel, was in excruciating pain, and his palm felt sticky. The car's interior had a metallic smell of blood.

Earlier, while fighting with Sebastian, he had accidentally torn open a barely healed wound on his palm, which was now bleeding.

"Not yet." He answered truthfully.

Amelia frowned upon hearing this and pressed, "Is there a traffic jam tonight? Why aren't you home yet? Are you going to the Hastings Manor or Spring Villa?"

Hearing Amelia's slightly concerned tone, Frederick smiled. "I'm going to Spring Villa. Don't worry, I'm fine."

Amelia frowned. It only took about twenty minutes to drive from the Davis Manor to Spring Villa, even during midday traffic. At night, without traffic, it would take just over ten minutes.

She had taken a half-hour bath, dried her hair, and done her skincare routine. This time was enough for a round trip to Spring Villa.

Frederick drove into Spring Villa and immediately reported to Amelia. "I'm home."

Hearing this, Amelia swallowed the questions she had wanted to ask and said calmly, "Good, get some rest."

Frederick responded softly, "Okay. Goodnight."

Before hanging up, Amelia replied softly, "Goodnight."

Just as she hung up, she heard Frederick add. "Remember to dream of me."

Amelia raised an eyebrow slightly, looking at the ended call, and ultimately didn't call Frederick back.

Nicole was staying in the hospital room with Jesse tonight.

Jesse, not wanting her to sleep on the companion's bed, had her lie on his hospital bed, and the two squeezed together.

As Nicole was about to sleep, Jesse's phone kept ringing.

Given his previous line of work, which often involved interacting with many women, Nicole felt a pang of unease. She snatched Jesse's phone to see who was sending him messages.

It turned out to be messages from his work group.

Nicole was about to return the phone to Jesse, but just as she was handing it over, she saw Frederick's name mentioned in the group chat. So she took the phone back.

Staff 1: [Tonight, Frederick and Sebastian got into a big fight in a private room over a woman.]

Staff 2: [I heard the woman is Frederick's first love, but somehow she got involved with Sebastian, and the two started fighting.]

Staff 3: [Aren't these two long-time buddies? Why didn't Mr. Sinclair step in?]

Staff 4: [Well, you know, bro code, especially when it's Frederick's first love. How could Mr. Sinclair intervene?]

Staff 5: [Both are good friends; helping either side wouldn't be right.]

Nicole kept scrolling through the messages until she found the video.

She played the video and indeed saw Sebastian and Frederick fighting, with Amber kneeling nearby, holding onto Frederick.

Given this scene, it was no wonder people were speculating.

After watching the video, Nicole angrily forwarded it to her account and then tossed the phone back to Jesse.

She said angrily, "Frederick, that douchebag, has been pursuing Amelia while fighting with his buddy over Amber. I need to tell Amelia."

Jesse, hearing Nicole's words, initially wanted to say something to calm her down, but seeing that she had already sent the video, he decided not to speak.

After all, Amelia had advised Nicole to break up with him. Now, Nicole was advising her not to be with Frederick. It was fair.
