Chapter 321 She Wants to Kill

Charles walked into the cabin, scanning the room. Everything seemed fine. He turned to Rachel and waved her in.

Rachel was about to step inside when she saw Daniel approaching, looking anxious. Their eyes met, and he froze.

"Rachel, Amelia..." he began, his voice shaky.

Rachel's eyes narrowed, a chill running through her. She remembered Ruth pushing Amelia into the sea, and anger replaced her concern.

Daniel lowered his head, his voice breaking. Seeing Rachel here meant Amelia must be safe, right?

Ruth watched Todd enter the cabin, her heart racing. She grabbed his hand. "Mr. Adams, I need to get off this boat. Can you..."

But Todd was already on his phone, his agent's voice frantic. "Todd, there's been an anonymous tip about your yacht. The media is swarming the dock."

Todd's face darkened. He shook off Ruth's hand, clearly frustrated. The last thing he needed was media attention.

If the media found out what happened tonight, his career would be over. The rumors, the accusations – it wouldn't matter if they were true or not. The media would twist the story into a scandal.

Ruth, undeterred, was about to speak again when she saw Charles emerge from the cabin. She slumped onto the sofa, avoiding Charles' gaze.

Rachel then entered the cabin, her presence like a cold wind. Ruth paled and shrank further into the sofa, unable to look at her.

Todd recognized Rachel instantly. His eyes darted around, searching for Amelia, but she was nowhere to be seen. He was visibly nervous. "Ms. Davis," he said, avoiding her first name.

Seeing Rachel, Todd's fear was obvious. He looked between Ruth and the door, wanting to escape but unable to.

Ignoring Todd, Rachel walked straight to Ruth, determined. Ruth, cornered, shrank further into the sofa, terrified.

Rachel picked up a wine bottle from the table, the glass glinting in the dim light. Charles watched, expression unreadable.

Daniel, realizing the danger, paled. He ran to Ruth, standing between her and Rachel, so the bottle ended up on his back.

Though Daniel knew Ruth was wrong, he pleaded with Rachel. "Rachel, Ruth is pregnant. Please, for my sake, don't hurt her. If you're really angry, hit me instead."

Rachel looked at Daniel coldly. "Do you think that will stop me?"

Daniel lowered his head, silent.

Ruth, terrified, clung to Daniel's shirt. She apologized, her voice shaking. "Ms. Davis, I'm sorry. I know I was wrong. Please forgive me."

Rachel sneered, throwing the bottle to the ground. "Forgive you? It's not impossible."

Hearing Rachel's words, Daniel sighed in relief.

Todd, realizing Ruth had orchestrated tonight's events, quickly told Rachel about the anonymous report.

Rachel narrowed her eyes slightly.

Charles raised an eyebrow and said softly, "I'll handle it."

He had returned to Kasfee to facilitate economic cooperation between Yaradia and Kasfee, and everyone in Kasfee had to respect him. A small report could be handled with a phone call.

Rachel's eyes remained cold as she refused, "No need."

These issues wouldn't affect Amelia. With Amelia safe on Charles's yacht, there was no need to owe Charles any favors for these people.

Hearing about the report, Daniel looked at Ruth in shock.

He had just slightly relaxed when Rachel grabbed Ruth's hair and pulled her up.

Ruth, in pain, stood up from the sofa.

Daniel quickly reached out to stop her, "Rachel." As soon as he grabbed Rachel's hand, Charles kicked him in the stomach.

Charles, with one hand in his pocket, looked as if he was enjoying the show, as if he hadn't just kicked Daniel.

Seeing Daniel's shocked expression, Charles smiled and said, "This is a woman's matter. Why are you interfering?"

He glanced at Daniel's hand on Rachel's wrist.

Daniel felt a chill from Charles's smiling eyes behind his glasses. He hesitated and let go.

Rachel dragged Ruth by the hair toward the deck. Ruth screamed and followed.

On the opposite yacht, Ian saw Rachel dragging Ruth out and instinctively lowered all the curtains in the cabin.

Ruth's fear peaked when she saw the dark sea.

She knelt on the ground, rubbing her hands and begging Rachel for mercy. "Ms. Davis, please, let me go. I really know I was wrong, I really do."

Charles followed them onto the deck, with Todd behind him.

Rachel, holding Ruth's hair with one hand, grabbed a rope with the other.

Daniel swiftly understood what Rachel intended. He hurriedly pled, "Rachel, Ruth is carrying my child. I'll jump in her place. Will you let her go?"

Rachel didn't look back, continuing to tie Ruth's hands. Ruth struggled, making it difficult to tie her up.

Hearing Daniel's words, she replied coldly, "Jump then."

Daniel knew Rachel's temper. If he hesitated for even a second, Rachel wouldn't spare Ruth.

With Rachel's response, he jumped into the sea without hesitation.

Todd stood by, stunned. Rachel turned to him and beckoned. "You, come help me tie her up."

Todd's expression changed, and he quickly said, "Rachel, Mr. Vanderbilt has already jumped."

Rachel responded expressionlessly, "Did I agree to any conditions?"

Todd paused, shaking his head slightly.

But he remained frozen, unable to bring himself to help Rachel tie Ruth.

Rachel seemed to see through his hesitation. "I'll handle the media for you," she said calmly, her gaze unwavering. She knew what she was doing, and she was determined to get what she wanted.

Todd was still hesitant, his mind reeling.

Charles had previously said he was willing to help if she wanted to kill someone, but she didn't want him involved. He chuckled, his upturned eyes slightly narrowing.

He glanced coolly at Todd and urged softly. "Go ahead. Otherwise, when the media arrives, your career as a star will be over."

Charles's voice was calm, with a hint of amusement.

Todd feared Rachel, but Charles's presence terrified him even more.

Charles had an air of sharpness as if he could crush someone with a smile, making people shiver.
