Chapter 365 Charles Took Rachel Away
Amelia listened to his affectionate words, her face instantly turning scarlet with embarrassment. Worried about falling, she instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist, clinging tighter to him.
Frederick, clearly pleased with her cooperative response, smiled and leaned in to kiss her lips again.
Amelia, acutely aware of the possibility that security personnel might be on duty just outside the gate of Spring Villa, felt a rush of mortification. She turned her face away from his approaching kiss and urged softly, "Let's go inside."
Frederick chuckled, a deep, resonant sound that sent shivers down her spine. Still holding her firmly, he carried her toward the house.
From the yard to the living room, there were about ten steps, but each one seemed to stretch into an eternity. Amelia could feel something unmistakably poking her with every step Frederick took. Her face burned with a deep flush as she buried her head in the crook of his neck, too flustered to speak.
They had been married for three years, and while they had been intimate numerous times, Frederick's approach had always been methodical, almost businesslike. Moments of spontaneous flirtation like this were rare, making the experience both thrilling and nerve-wracking for Amelia. Her breathing grew heavier, the weight of her emotions pressing down on her.
Frederick, meanwhile, was very aware of her effect on him. The feel of her breath against his neck sent jolts of electricity through his body, stirring his own mounting desire. Unwilling to prolong the suspense, he quickened his pace toward the house.
Once inside, the previously anxious Frederick seemed less hurried. He gently placed Amelia on the bed, pressing down to gaze at her. Her flawless, delicate face was already tinged with soft pink, her eyes slightly dazed and reflecting his image.
Amelia did not avoid Frederick's gaze, meeting his eyes with a hint of shyness.
Frederick bent down to kiss her lovely eyes, moving slowly downwards, making sure every inch of her was attended to.
Amelia felt like she might drown in Frederick's tenderness tonight. Both her heart and body had long since surrendered to him.
As Frederick moved lower, Amelia wrapped her arms around his neck, bringing her red lips to his. Frederick chuckled softly, giving her a light kiss, his voice hoarse and sexy, "Later."
His words made Amelia blush even more. Tonight, Frederick took the lead, determined to serve Amelia well with the dedication of a lover. The gentle yet passionate care he showed her made her feel cherished in a way she had never experienced before. Every touch, every kiss was a reminder of how much he desired and valued her.
By the end, Amelia, unable to withstand his intensity, coaxed him into finishing.
Only then did Frederick relent, easing his intensity, yet leaving her thoroughly satisfied.
Lying in bed, Amelia felt completely exhausted, not wanting to move. Frederick, still brimming with energy, got out of bed and bent down to pick her up. Amelia immediately resisted, "I can't, really can't," she murmured, cheeks flushed, looking at Frederick with a pleading expression, her voice soft.
Frederick chuckled softly, "Just taking you for a bath."
Hearing this, Amelia stopped resisting, letting Frederick carry her into the bathroom.
Sitting together in the bathtub, Amelia felt Frederick's arousal again, and shifted to put some distance between them.
Frederick noticed her movement and pulled her back into his arms.
Amelia softly hummed, "We have to attend the conference tomorrow. I still need to go back."
Frederick's voice was hoarse as he held her, seeking Amelia's opinion, "It's too late tonight. Let's not go back. I'll have Felix bring your clothes over in the morning, okay?" As he spoke, his breath warmed Amelia's delicate back. Not satisfied with just that, he leaned down to kiss her.
Amelia felt goosebumps rise all over, her mind muddled by his teasing. She murmured a response, "Okay."
With her response, Frederick's actions became bolder. Amelia moaned softly, enjoying his tenderness once again.
Time seemed to stretch, and only when the water in the bathtub began to cool did Frederick finally relent.
She had recently recovered from a fever, and Frederick didn't want her to get sick.
Amelia was completely exhausted, her body limp as she leaned against Frederick, letting him dry her off and carry her back to bed.
Back in bed, Amelia quickly fell asleep.
Frederick watched her sleeping face, satisfied, pulling her closer into his arms.
His body was warm, and Amelia felt a bit hot, kicking off the comforter and draping her slender legs over him.
Frederick smiled helplessly, turned on the air conditioning, and pulled the comforter back up, unable to resist kissing her face.
Amelia unconsciously snuggled into his arms, avoiding his kiss.
Frederick smiled quietly, marveling at how women could be so enchanting. Even their breaths seemed sweet to him.
As he held her, about to fall asleep, his phone screen lit up.
Frederick had a habit of keeping his phone on silent at night. When he saw the screen light up, he picked it up. It was a call from Sebastian.
He frowned slightly, glancing at the time—it was already 1 AM.
Since their fight a few days ago, Sebastian had yet to contact Frederick.
Frederick had assumed he no longer had Sebastian as a friend.
Seeing Sebastian calling at this hour, he frowned and answered, "What's up?"
Frederick's voice was colder than usual. The memory of Sebastian's earlier comments about Amelia still chilled him.
Sebastian's voice was urgent, "Kenneth drugged Rachel, and Charles took her away. Frederick, help me."
Frederick frowned, glancing at the sleeping Amelia, and said, "I'll contact Charles."
Sebastian quickly said, "Get the address from him. I'll go pick her up."
Frederick frowned, replying in a deep voice, "I'll have Tina pick her up."
Sebastian was silent for a long time before agreeing, "Okay."
Having Tina pick Rachel up was better than Rachel falling completely into Charles' hands.
Frederick hung up on Sebastian, found Charles' number, and called him.
The first call went unanswered, so he called again, but still no answer.
The noise Frederick made woke Amelia. She opened her eyes and looked at Frederick, asking in confusion, "Why aren't you sleeping? Is there a problem with the company?"
The only thing that could keep Frederick up this late was company issues.
Seeing Amelia's sleepy eyes, he reached out to rub her head gently, his touch soothing. "Yes, there's an issue. I'll handle it in the study. Go back to sleep," he said softly.
Amelia murmured an acknowledgment, her voice soft. "Don't stay up too late. We have the conference tomorrow."
Frederick leaned down to kiss her cheek, his voice hoarse, "Okay."
With his response, Amelia adjusted to a comfortable position and fell back asleep.
