Chapter 61 Amelia Became That Unscrupulous Person

It had been a while since Amelia last saw Daniel. Upon seeing him now, she smiled politely and walked over to him.

After all, she would be living in Fondaniss for a while and was not familiar with the place. She would definitely need his help.

"Why are you here?" she walked up to Daniel.

Daniel looked at her with a smile, seeming to be in a good mood, and responded in a gentle tone: " I'm Visiting a friend."

Amelia nodded with a smile and softly said, "Then I'll go upstairs to work."

Daniel nodded.

He had just seen Amelia getting out of Frederick's car, which made him a little nervous.

Could it be that the relationship between Amelia and Frederick had improved again?

He watched Amelia walk past him and hurriedly spoke up, "Amelia."

Amelia stopped and looked at him, tilting her head. "Is there something else?"

Her gentle expression made Daniel's heart skip a beat.

"Have you decided on your trip to Fondaniss?"

Amelia nodded gently. "Yes."

"It's decided. I'll leave next month."

Daniel saw the determination in her clear and beautiful eyes and secretly breathed a sigh of relief, smiling as he said, "Great."

"You should go upstairs to work."

Amelia responded, nodded, and stepped into the hospital.

The smile on Daniel's face gradually widened. He had been worried that the relationship between Amelia and Frederick had eased, and he was afraid she wouldn't go to Fondaniss.

Now, he had gotten Amelia’s answer.

Daniel's chaotic heart was finally soothed.

John parked his car in a parking space and saw someone talking to Amelia at the entrance of the hospital.

The person looked like a charming young man, obviously one of Amelia’ss suitors.

He sneakily took a few glances and saw the person leave and get into a luxury sports car. His expression immediately darkened.

‘How come everyone starts with a million-dollar luxury car?’ He thought.

He had been very confident about winning over Amelia, but his self-esteem took a blow when he saw that all the pursuers around Amelia were high-quality men.

However, he believed that sincerity was his killer move. There was never a girl he couldn't deal with when he was in school!

John opened the car door and rushed into the hospital. Fortunately, Amelia was still waiting for the elevator at the elevator entrance.

He quickly ran over and stood next to Amelia, panting.

Amelia lowered her gaze and looked at John with a coolness in her eyes.

John thought that Amelia would ask him why he ran so fast when she saw him. But unexpectedly, after casting him a faint glance, she withdrew her gaze and quietly waited for the elevator, leaving John with no chance to start the prepared speech.

As Amelia noticed his gaze fixed on her, she frowned slightly. Just as she was about to speak, John cut in.

"I saw you going into the hospital when I parked just now, so I wanted to catch up and see if it was you. I didn't expect it to be." He spoke with a shy smile.

Amelia remained expressionless, not even glancing at him, and said seriously, "As a doctor, it is most important to stay calm in any situation. If you act so flustered, how will you face your patients in the future?"

John paused for a moment and hurriedly added, "Normally, I stay calm when I encounter something, but I don't know why I can't stay calm when I see you."

His clear gaze fell on Amelia, sincere and straightforward. If it weren't for overhearing his words yesterday, she might have been moved by his remarkable acting skills at this moment.

Amelia silently watched him for a few seconds, and then the elevator doors opened. She smiled and walked into the elevator. John saw the faint smile on Amelia’s face, and his expression froze for a moment. Then, he quickly followed her into the elevator.

They arrived at the department floor. Amelia stepped off the elevator, and John followed, looking like a loyal dog.

Amelia stopped and glanced at him, "By the way, Ralap should have something to talk to you about, so go to his office."

John hesitated for a moment, then nodded hurriedly, "What does Ralap want with me?" Amelia smiled mysteriously, "You'll find out when you go."

John looked at her smile, and a possibility came to mind. That is, Amelia recommended him to Ralap!

He was still an intern without permanent status. If he got the chance to stay at General Hospital with the help of Amelia, his future would be bright.

Unexpectedly, he hadn't even fully pursued her seriously yet, and she was already paving the way for him. If he could have her in the future, with the relationship between Amelia and the Hastings family, wouldn't he easily be able to climb into the management level?

After all, everyone at the hospital said that Amelia was the future of General Hospital.

Amelia looked at John's uncontrollable joy, coldly smiled, and walked into her office.

John hurriedly walked to Ralap's office, only to receive a dismissal notice. He was being fired from General Hospital.

John's previously smiling face instantly fell, his expression freezing.

"Ralap, what does this mean?"

Ralap glanced at John expressionlessly, sitting in his office chair, coldly saying a sentence.

"You offended someone yourself, you know that."

"Quickly pack up your personal belongings and vacate the locker. Your school will send another intern to the hospital this afternoon."

Last night, Director Smith called him in the middle of the night, saying that an intern in their department had offended Frederick and had misconduct. Now, they were asking him to leave.

Director Smith even scolded him, saying he was too eager for quick success and chose someone with poor character, which would have a negative impact on General Hospital in the future.

If Ralap hadn't been unable to contact this intern last night, he wouldn't have wanted to see him today.

John had no idea who he offended, but thinking that it was Amelia who asked him to see Ralap, he gritted his teeth and left Ralap's office, heading straight for Amelia.

"Ms. Davis.

"What does this mean?

"Why are you firing me? What did I do wrong?"

Amelia was discussing the patient's condition plan with Nicole when he barged in.

Amelia had treated him poorly yesterday, but he hadn't noticed at all and thought she was just in a bad mood.

Nicole looked at John, who now had an angry and frustrated look on his face, and her expression grew cold.

"John, what are you doing?"

John gritted his teeth, asking, "Ms. Davis, I have diligently worked since I entered the hospital. Why are you firing me? I need an explanation!"

Amelia calmly looked at John and spoke calmly. "I am not the one who fired you."

Nicole thought back to Frederick's visit to General Hospital yesterday. He probably caught John bothering Amelia, so he angrily pressured the hospital to dismiss John.

Last night, Amelia and Nicole had discussed John's situation, and now she looked displeased with him. "You are dishonest yourself. Getting fired is what you deserve."

"What are you making a fuss here for?"

John gritted his teeth, harboring resentment.
